We love how fast it is and easy and the customer service is fantastic when ever we have a problem which is rare. I want to see a better looking system with more practice analytics but I am over all very happy and would recommend it to others

Pros

Easy and fast to use it doesn’t take much to train my employees

Cons

Looks really old and outdated, lacks good reports that I would love to have for better practice analysis.

Pros

Serves as a great data base and scheduling format for new and old patients. The online support is great and the agents have always been over the top helpful.

Cons

Platinum is not compatiable with our billing service. So in order for me to bill, I have to print off the DOS from Platinum and input the DOS into our local billing services. Some icd-10 codes don't register.

Pros

I love the functionality and practicality of the features. I enjoy the connectivity and especially the customer service that comes along with the system.

Cons

It can lag a bit and when in use can be a big draw on the CPU slowing down the rest of my computers features.

Pros

What I like most about this software is the lay out is super easy to navigate, the customer service is by far superior to all other software companies who require you to submit tickets and wait for a response back. You can just call Platinum and get help instantly!

Cons

What I like least about this software is that it's not web based so I can't access it from our other locations if needed to check on the schedule.

I was able to transition into an existing practice and use EHR with no downtime. Flawless transition.

Pros

I love the simplicity of the macros and the speed of the notes. The Platinum billing keeps me up to date and is very efficient with any questions. Love the customer service.

Cons

I don't have anything negative to write. The software meets all of my needs to date. I suppose what would maybe been better in the beginning is to have an actual sales rep come to visit with me and show me how the programs work.

We can focus on building the practice instead of note taking and scheduling.

Pros

Being a doc, I like how easy it is to use the EHR. Our office manager would probably have a lot of other things she likes.

Cons

I wish the privacy screen had our logo instead of the platinum logo. Also, I wish platinum would switch to a privacy screen as soon as the patient enters in their subjective notes. I sometimes find the patients reading through things, which I don't like.

Pros

I like the ease of navigating the key strokes and tasks that our team needs to complete. I like that other programs can be integrated into our system such as merchant service companies.

Cons

I dislike the challenge to get things set up in the very beginning. Spending so much time shutting down all the computers and trying to get certain things fixed was annoying. The time with customer support was always very inconvenient and steps to complete a task were never thorough enough to be completed with one phone call.

Some simple things such as looking up all the visits a patient has been on the calendar.

Ease of use in patient stops, notes and exam notes. Like the scheduling options and features and ability to make the schedule match our business.

Cons

That it does not communicate between offices. With 2 locations it is difficult to have all information from patients as they move between offices. Also wish duplicate files could be deleted.

We love the basic functions of the software and the calling module. We like the simplicity of the electronic travel card. The new ability to partner with zingit text is great.

Cons

We believe they have not kept up with technology. They seem to not test the updates before putting them out and blame the user for any problems.

Ease of getting insurance claims paid in a timely manner

Pros

Actually everything, the ERH is not hard to use, the insurance features make it easy to submit claims. The appointment calendar is very user friendly.The customer service is outstanding, always resolves any issues we have during that call.

Great customer support. Easy to use for scheduling and billing. Great for tracking patients during the course of their care and makes it easy for future appointment follow ups.

Cons

I wish it had more features similar to SKED, so I wouldn't have to purchase an additional add on to do what SKED does. I would also enjoy better remote access.

Pros

Platinum has allowed our office to be very efficient with tracking patients files and very user friendly. The "How To" PDF files platinum provides are also very useful.

Cons

That you can't pre-set stop managers. It would be nice to be able to create our own stop manager templates and utilize them, major time saver. Also making the appointment ledger more friendly when we need to reschedule an appointment time (same day) or just switch things around. Preset list to set the monthly birthdays, instead of having to create a report.

Platinum works very quickly and there are shorthand tricks to complete all tasks efficiently.

Cons

The only con is that it is so complex, you may need to call support to find out about different customization options and reports that are available (not always intuitive). The good news is that Platinum Support is very helpful!

The SOAP notes are fairly easy and quick to use. I like that it is paperless. The color coding is great.

Cons

The ECS report. Should be able to get a report for ANY month. I need to have computers in each room for this program. There is no iPad or tablet option.

The calling module is key for practices opening with a smaller team.

Pros

The customer service is the biggest pro. We also use the billing side. Our billing person is phenomenal.

Cons

The lack of efficiency. There are too many steps to do simple tasks. It's not user friendly or intuitive. This makes it harder to train team members on how to utilize the software.

We are already familiar with this product due to being in other offices. That saved us a lot of time when opening our own practice. It also saves us time and money by getting by with a part time team member for now as we just opened in July.

Pros

We like using the calling module because it saves us from having another team member when trying to keep our over head low

Cons

That we have to pay for extra services like fortis. We get charged to use them, but they are way more convenient than the others.
