Pros

We really like the fact that it allows you to see a high volume of practice members without any setbacks in software capacity.

Cons

I would love to see some improvements when it comes to statistical tracking. I find it to be very difficult to keep track of stats with this software & I am often times keeping separate Excel spreadsheets, which is a huge pain.

Platinum has made our systems and procedures so much easier! This saves us not only a lot of time and headaches but a lot of money

Pros

Ease of use and overall makes life in the office a breeze

Cons

Lots of buttons! They are not hard to figure out, just a lot of content to absorb

Pros

That it's been around for awhile. I know many DC's have used this program, however, we are still trying to make it work for your chiropractic and nutritional practice. I trust it will come but the process of learning is time intensive. This program is very comprehensive and can accomplish many tasks. We look forward to becoming proficient with it.

Cons

I feel as though there is no checklist of things we should be trained on. We are left to struggle through in the dark and call when we hit a roadblock. Then when we call we are often treated rudely by the support team because we don't know the answers.

Pros

Just about you could want to do with an EHR system is available with Platinum. You are able to do everything from one screen which is really nice.

Cons

The platform visually looks like it was made in the 90s. Being able to put in number easier instead of highlighting the entire field.

It's extremely easy to use and has great training video's. Our entire team feels like we have a through understanding of the system and it allows us to easily make changes that we desire. I would highly recommend Platinum EHR system to any doc.

Pros

Platinum for the most part is easy to you and customization is easy.

Cons

We use platinum billing and its a joke, We have only gotten paid on one claim and there is not much communication. We having to tell our billing specialist our hours constantly because he will try to log on to our computers when we are not in the office.

Pros

The ability of having the most needed and used information on one page of the front desk is helpful.

Cons

It is difficult to change from one section of time to the next, using F3 is time consuming. Also, having to put in one charge at a time takes too much time, would like to select several charges to submit at once. The EHR macros are difficult to understand and I would like to make my own, but not sure how to do this.

Pros

Anytime we had a problem a quick call to platinum resolved it.

Cons

Too many hoops to jump through to accomplish a simple task. Looking at my stats was complicated and confusing. Creating querys was not user friendly. Lastly since I used insurance part my last bill was over $1000 that’s way to High for the job the biller was doing.

Pros

Ease of use for quick notes (with outside Macro's), the calling module (when it works properly), it's ability to easily keep track of a patients ledger.

Cons

Cosmetically it's not the prettiest (Not a complaint, just a fact). I know that I am not using it to it's potential because there is so much that I don't know, or wasn't trained on. I can't ask to be trained on it, because I don't know what I don't know until someone else points it out.

Pros

What we like most about platinum is the ease of use to serve 100s of people. We like the calling module that allows us to call people back to the rooms. We also like that there are keyboard shortcuts! The ability to run a stat for about anything is a nice feature also. We use the stop manager function all the time! We enjoy the billing service as well.

Cons

The way it looks, it is not very pretty, but it is effective. We also don't like that you can't print a warning list for previous days.

Pros

The software has everything you need to run a successful chiropractic office from keeping track of patient files, adjustment logs, x ray and nuero scan images, and keep track of billing and payments.

Cons

A little daunting at first to learn all options of how to operate it. There are so many features it does take some time to figure it all out.

The ease of use. The fact that everything I need to have in there is fast and has saved a ton of time.

The interface seems dated. I did a demo for chirotouch and their program seems "newer" but I know they have alot of glitches and problems

Pros

The functionality and specificity of each function. The customer support is phenomenal and has been able to answer all of our questions! They are extremely patient and kind.

Cons

The interface. It looks like a program from the 1990s. We have also had an extremely difficult time with our data transfer and implementation. We are currently 3 weeks in and are still finding missing pieces.

Easy to use and excellent customer support with the software. Multiple question and answers already built in.

Pros

Custom features. It can be programmed to add multipule functions. Easy access screens good payment intergration with fortis pay software.

Cons

Not enough in depth training. The software does a lot. The training videos help but more is needed to explain in more detail.

It's extremely simple to use.

Pros

Simplicity of the electronic health records is by far the best part of platinum. I have used other softwares before and platinum is by far the simplist.

Cons

Though the software is easy to use it looks extremely plain. The check in station and overall appearance of the EHR system could use some touch ups.

Pros

The speed at which I can complete the daily notes, and setting up the patient information. Once macros have been entered you can enter in new charts almost instantly.

Cons

It's not the easiest to navigate as a new user and it is not the good format but it is the most practical for our needs.

Customer service is so wonderful. They are very quick to reply and will walk you through step by step.

Cons

Inability to send mass text to all Practice Members. I would like the option to be able to send text messages about upcoming events/ drives/ closures etc to entire data base.

Pros

I plan on using this system when I get out of school and get into my own practice. The staff is easily accessible and the software is user friendly once you get to know it!

Cons

I think some of the buttons can be confusing but with a little bit of training it is easy to use over time.
