### "Good processes, great potential, but poor reporting."

We had a rough start with our implementation. We have used it for a year now and are still trying to get the functionality (reports) we had in our old ERP. I believe the system has a lot of untapped potential and I look forward to being more proficient in building my own reports.

Pros

The ability to customize and build reports, GIs, and dashboards. The processes are solid and intuitive.

Cons

The out of box reports are deficient. For example the P&L which should be the most basic ERP report is way too summarized. Should have the option to run summarized or detailed without having to first build an ARM report.

### "Why Acumatica is a great tool for your business"

I am in the financing accounting department see your accountant for a large construction company, and really like the ease of abuse I like being able to train our technicians on how to eat the mobile aspect of document in order to record their time. I can work from anywhere with and that is really freeing.

Pros

I like the ease of use, financial reporting is very comprehensive and provides important details at the click of a button. It has various roles of security level so you can really lock down the system to keep confidential information in the right hands. My company just recently wrote out the inventory management tool and are quite happy with what we’ve done so far within the last three months.

Cons

I haven’t really found anything that I dislike about Acumatica. I think it’s more about the VAR. Our company is going to be looking into directly sourcing with Acumatica support versus using a VAR in the future.

Overall our experience has been extremely positive and we have seen a large growth in revenue as well as our ability to close month end in a few days instead of the entire month.

Pros

What I like most about Acumatica ERP is the flexibility for it to adapt to our changing business needs. We have grown from a single-stream e-commerce business to a multi-channel retail distributor. Acumatica has allowed us to grow and scale with ease.

Cons

It forced us to rethink our broken business processes to ensure our data integrity. We weren't ready for some of the difficult team conversations this brought up. In the end though we are in a much better place.

I love having a single source of truth for our organization that unites sales, operations, marketing, finance and leadership with real time data.

Pros

The low level of skill entry required to get most users off the ground with using the software, while the actual implementation required some skill and expertise the end user can simply log in and use it right away.

Cons

Nothing comes to mind at this time, there was very little difficulty with Acumatica during the implementation process or during the utilization of the software since go live.

It has had its ups and downs. We have been with Acumatica since 2017 so we feel like we carry a lot of legacy issues.

Pros

The open api ability to integrate a lot of systems and processes. This is impotent due to the complexity of the hospitality business.

Cons

Upgrades with customizations get very expensive. It takes awhile for new aspects to really work. It is known never to upgrade to the latest build because of all the bugs. Staying ahead of the game in technology.

Great. We are finally over the new to Acumatica hump and are now focused on continuous improvement. Learn something new every time we visit the Summit.

Pros

Easy for new users to use. Has allowed us to grow the business and decrease headcount. Improve our Fross Margens

Cons

How often have to upgrade our systems. The integration with our wms system is costly and difficult to get updated.

Great experience since 2018. We have launched 4 branches in Acumatica and now we are ready to dig deeper into reporting, dashboards, etc.

Pros

User friendly, easy to train others, reporting and dashboards. Add ons, such as AcuContainer and Velixo

Cons

Provide more training for behind the scenes, customer service wait times. We need faster response time from our provider.

We enjoy using aquatica both out of the box and as a platform for customization and backend to custom applications. It’s been a strong net positive for our business.

Pros

Customizability on multiple levels: low code/no code and developer access. Mostly intuitive, interfaces and processes.

Cons

Easy customizability leads to hard to profile performance problems, and an almost unusable report designer

### "2026 Acumatica Review. "

We are struggling to get by from the operations team. Our finance team and accounting team are the heavy users as well as the contract team, but we’re struggling to have operations seeing the value ad of using Acumatica. It is not his number as it sells itself to be.

Pros

Financial reporting, and ease of use. Transparency across apartments when it comes to the life cycle of a project from inception/opportunity won to final invoicing.

Cons

Having to work with a VAR, instead of going directly through the product team. We don’t believe that our VAR really understands fully how we run our of business and how best to support us, especially in the time of release upgrades and new features coming out.

Overall my experience is good with Acumatica. It is a much more robust system they the WM system that we moved from.

Pros

I like that is offers visibility to data and robust reporting. I also like that it integrates well with many other software platforms.

Cons

I don't like that in order to connect with connector stores's via API you need a outside company to do it and the option to do it in house is not available.

I like using as it allows customization, had a good community of help, and is flexible enough to meet the custom solutions I want.

Pros

It allows customization to adapt to my companies needs. We can integrate existing products into Acumatica to allow our operations to continue.

Cons

The interface is not as modern, but improvements are coming which will make adoption from users much easier

Overall, it’s a versatile system with a supportive ecosystem. I love the new things coming. I’m optimistic our business will continue to grow with this tool.

Pros

It’s very intuitive. A lot of support using the system as well. The financials are helpful, and the reporting really benefits our team.

Cons

The early days were rough. GI’s use to run really slow. Now things are great. We’re very happy with the system.

We had a very smooth implemention! Learning to use the product was easy, honestly we had more issues restructuring our chart of accounts rather than learning to use the system.

Pros

Easy to learn. There are a ton of low/no code customizations that make it easy to configure so that it works for your environment.

Cons

Some limitations with report creation and distribution out of the box, but there are a ton of add-on products that were able to fill those gaps (check out Velixo)

We are still working through the challenges but we are overall satisfied and hopeful for the items that we still have to incorporate.

Pros

visibility into all aspects of a project from one screen with tabs to bounce around to different areas within that project.

Cons

implementation was difficult and we are still working through items that were not configured properly and causing issues in the data. Also need to have descriptions added back in to the cost projections by date this is creating errors and adding time to this task.

Positive. The transfer to Acumatica required and still requires we look at our process to ensure their is not a more stream lined option.

Pros

Acumatica provides us with the flexibility to track our business and create new repo to find where improvements need to be made.

Cons

With the amount of updates to different screens it can be hard to keep up with what else we could be doing in Acumatica and what customizations we already have that are now in the base system.

Overall it has been positive. A lot of learning required and our team has had to do a lot of heavy lifting to get to understand the system and its capabilities.

Pros

The ability to get access to data through GIs and modifying ARM reports. Velixo which is a Acumatica add on is an amazing tool that allows for flexibility on the fly.

Cons

That any AP Bill has is entered into the system must be tied to a posting period. This has created manual processes to compensate. We can have many approvers that are required to approve and it can take a long time or no time at all. We should be able to decide what period to post the invoices to the GL.

I appreciate Acumatica for the combined interconnected modules that link purchase approvals to accounts payable bills.

Pros

File management and approval mapping and Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable documentation and other assorted functions.

Cons

I think the end user functionality and user interface could be greatly improved. We have a lot of employees who use Acumatica intermittently, and the UI is confusing for them.

Ease of usability, clear reporting, customization. Being able to make GIs and Dashboards really makes reporting simple

It could be quiker on data processing. The time it takes to process certain things like MRP can be frustrating

We have struggled to find an implementation partner who understands our business. Forecasting from the task level makes it too granular, and forecasting from the inventory ID leaves things too general. We would love to be able to forecast from a subtask!

Pros

The best part about Acumatica is how easily it can be customized, it is flexible, and it is closely integrated with Velixo.

Cons

If you are not implemented properly with right partner, you will struggle for years. It is also important that you have someone on staff to \[sensitive content hidden\] the change. The new UI should help a great deal.

Been using it for over four years. Helped transition from Sage. I do report and GI customizations as well as user management and security.

Pros

Open licenses are great for getting the whole team involved. Easy to use and easy to extract data is great for external reporting.

Cons

No time system that covers our needs. We require punch in and out with approvals. Need daily lobor costs, even before payroll is processed

Over the past 10 months of usage,we are finding tje value and efficiency improving. It was a challenging implementation but as we learn to use this powerful system better, we are finding it is really improving our company's efficiency.

Pros

Acumatica provides powerful repirting tools, a great framework for better processes and is allowing our company to continue to grow.

Cons

There was a pretty steep learning curve. I also found the forms challenging to learn to customize. The credit card expense management could also be improved.

Acumatica is a full featured erp system that helps us with all aspects of our manufacturing company. Integration with website and etc are great

Cons

We need the ability to merge customers and sync to Bigcommerce, use customer contact email rather than the account email.

Pros

Ability to switch between modules with ease. The ability to have multiple tabs working at the same time.

Cons

Once a document is released it becomes uneditable. It must be reversed then entered again and applied.

Pros

\- Ease of use and the ability to customize and configure the software to fit our business needs. - Ability to automate and improve daily work flows in processes.

Cons

\- need for deferred revenue module for distribution. The current deferred revenue functionality did not fit our business needs. - inability to manage consigned inventory
