This is a finely crafted product that is continuously being honed to adapt to changing needs in the industry, you are dealing with developers on the phone who know and love their product, if there is something you think is missing, they want to know - even if it is something minimal (like removing the automatic capitalisation of the word 'of' in addresses). Don't fall for the trap of a new, fancy cloud based service that promises ease of use but rarely delivers, with half the functions and none of the customer support. This software is exactly what you need plus some.

Pros

The functionality of the program, the ease and speed of use, the ongoing maintenance and updates that implement input from users. Truly customer-driven software, not IT mandated, they know the industry and work with you every step of the way.

Cons

To be honest, its appearance isn't the sleekest and initially, as a millennial, I almost wrote it off as 'old and dated'. After 4 years of using the product, I am ever so glad that I looked past this initial reaction, it is so functional and beautifully adaptive that the utilitarian design is now actually a drawcard, we can utilize 59 different colours so that at a glance you can gain valuable insight that is individualised to whatever you need it to refer to or don't use the colours, it is entirely up to how you want to use the product.

When I first bought my business, the previous owners had no computers at all and were using a hairdressers appointment book to record front office bookings. I couldn't wait to set up something more efficient. Satin Software came up trumps. There is not another service that my motel uses that provides the exceptional support I experience from the staff at Satin Software.

Pros

I have been using this product now for more than 10 years. It is very simple to use, has some great features and any problem is usually solved within the hour - or sooner. It is so user friendly, any manager I have ever had while I have been away has had either no problems, or the full support of Satin staff to assist them. Even my 85 year old friend who is only slightly computer literate can work out what to do. And, there is nothing you can mess up that cannot be sorted out!!

Cons

I have not had any bad experience with the software. Any problems I have caused myself are solved with help from very friendly and patient support from the developer. If the software cannot do something I would like it to do, my suggestion is taken on board and if possible, there will soon be an update to the software that includes a solution for me.

Reasons for choosing Satin Software

I chose Satin Software because it seemed to be the most user friendly. I am quite computer literate but wanted something simple and straight forward, which would also supply excellent history and data search options.

Great prouct for any size property

Pros

Extremely easy to use product with 24/7 online assistance that always answers. The ability to interface with the PABX was also a big plus. The fact that there are no add on charges is also a benefit. Any upgrade is free of charge with no sign on contracts or fees. Would recommend this product before Roommaster or RMS.

Cons

There weren't any to be honest !
