If you’re looking for a donor management database that’s effective, budget-friendly, and backed by a fantastic support team, I can’t recommend enough!

Pros

I’ve been using for nearly 10 years, and it has been an incredible tool for managing donor relationships. The platform is user-friendly, reliable, and packed with features that make tracking and engaging with donors a breeze. One of the standout aspects is its affordability—it offers great value for organizations of all sizes. What truly sets DonorSnap apart is its excellent customer service. Anytime I’ve had a question or needed assistance, their team has been responsive, helpful, and genuinely invested in making sure I succeed. Over the years, I’ve recommended DonorSnap to several organizations, and they’ve all had positive experiences as well.

Cons

If there’s one thing I’d love to see improved, it’s their presence at fundraising conferences. These events are where I connect with the largest audience of nonprofit professionals, and I think could make a big impact by being more visible in those spaces. It would be great to see them there more often!

### "DonorSnap is so easy to use that even a non techie can manage it."

is such an improvement over other CRM's that I have tried. I have recommended it to my web developer, and he has passed on my recommendations to other clients of his, and they have started using DonorSnap also.

Pros

Donor Snap is so much easier to use, than two other CRM's that I had used previously. Easy to learn, and they have excellent training videos, which is where I am able to get the majority of my questions answered. When I can't find the answer on their Help/Training site, I will send an email off to the support team, and typically get a response with an answer within 30 minutes. A previous CRM product could take 2-3 weeks for an answer. There reporting options are also very easy to use. So much easier than those other guys. If you are proficient with Microsoft Office products you should have no issues.

Cons

The weakest link I would say is with the ability to send emails that are heavy on graphics. It is also possible that I have not tried enough, or asked the correct questions.

Our eleven year commitment to speaks to our satisfaction for the whole package! We believe it contributes to clean reords and donor communication.

Pros

We, as an organization, have used Donosnap for 11 years now. We like the complete data it imports and the ease of putting in manual checks. The best part is the online input is as easy as 2 clicks and all the info is pulled in under the donor in a second! love that! It is also so easy to create specific reports & donor gifts if they want a quick update. The system, as a whole, is a great value for the cost.

Cons

The thing i like least is probably using email for support as I am a verbal customer & prefer phone calls

has been great in helping us take our non-profit to the next level with our supporters. It was easy to set up, easy to migrate old information from another system, and easy to run. We are moving into a bright future with the help of DonorSnap.

Pros

Donor Snap customer service is great! They have a wealth of educational videos, and if those don't answer your question, their customer service team is quick to respond to any emails (usually within an hour)!

Cons

A few of the options take some time and additional knowledge (like doing HTML for emails), but even then the staff are willing to help with whatever you need.

I have been a customer for many years and while I look from time to time at other products, I always come back to DS because it is accomplishing what I need and at a good price point. Believe it or not, there are some features I never used and just this year in 2025 I started to use them and see the benefits to our Development and Business Office. I also added EventSnap and AuctionSnap which also have limitations, but I look forward to them getting further developed. Overall, I am a happy customer and look forwarding to a continually developing product.

Pros

Good Value Intuitive technology Support accessibilty from \[sensitive content hidden\] The integration with Stripe The add-ons of Auction and EventSnap (although too early to tell) Data all in one place

Cons

Some limitations Support is not as frequent as I always need I don't use some features and I always wonder best practices

### "Top Pick for Donor Management Solution"

Our organization has been using for about 10 years and we highly recommend it. I have experience with two other cloud-based donor management systems from other organizations I work with and have found DonorSnap to be the most user-friendly, intuitive, and effective. While understanding how to properly set up the reports takes some getting used to (the video trainings offered are very helpful and anytime I have questions beyond that, I always receive prompt and helpful replies from customer service), the information I get out of the reports is far more customizable and helpful compared to the report functionality of other systems. Entering donations and preparing acknowledgments is also much less time consuming and more customizable than other databases. The customer service at DonorSnap is top-notch! There was an instance where I accidently deleted a contact and all of their history and the customer service team was able to quickly recover the information. The other systems I've used have been very clear that once you delete information, there is nothing they can do to help.

Pros

Straightforward pricing, intuitive and user-friendly interface, highly customizable, excellent customer support

Cons

While overall I find the interface to be more intuitive/user-friendly than other donor management systems, scrolling through contacts is tedious compared to other programs and understanding the query builder is less intuitive and takes some getting used to but the trainings offered are very helpful!

We love . It helps us thank our donors every time we receive a donation. It is also very helpful with reporting and emailing all donors at once. The customer support is also better than most programs. They actually have people that will help.

Pros

The ease of use and the reports are very useful for grant writing. It also allows us to generate thank you letters for all donors.

Cons

Building queries seems like a bit of a hassle until you learn the process, then its very simple and helpful

I've had a great experience with easy access to training and onboarding. I appreciate the new developments and consistent information/best practices sharing.

Pros

For the cost, this software can do so much and much of it is easier to accomplish than on the larger legacy CRM systems. I really like how items can be customized for data entry.

Cons

It's not as intuitive for non-tech people. I have a strong query background and still struggle navigating building reports and getting the fields I want. However, the pre-built reports are amazing to use and have most (if not all) of the routine information easily accessible.

Pros

The ease of use. While the program is set up to be very intuitive, there are also plenty of tutorials to help me master features I may not use too often and thus need a refresher.

Cons

Nothing specific comes to mind. I don't get to learn as much as I would like on features, just due to other responsibilities.

Learned it in my current role and the trainings and support are quite helpful. If you take the time to learn it, it meets your organizational needs quite well. They've added some peripheral systems such as AuctionSnap and EventSnap which complement the functionality.

Pros

Value for the money, rapid customer support and functionality. They seem to be looking to evolve, which is always a good thing.

Cons

It takes a bit to learn the methodology and how to effectively write reports but worthwhile once you do. I wish the newsletter functionality would allow users to upload images.

Pros

The customer service/help department is quick to respond and always provides resolution. Donation logging and profile creation is simple and straightforward.

Cons

I struggle some with creating reports in data miner gold and platinum. Pledge tracking and reporting is also difficult.

Our experience has been very positive. We were up and running with this database very quickly - the onboarding time was much shorter than competitors, and both learning resources and support have been great for existing and new staff. While no solution does everything we want the way we want it, this has really supported our small staff in building a much stronger development program.

Pros

Easy to learn, excellent online tech and training support, great reporting which leads to better customized and segmented appeals, easy form building, and very useful integrations. We look forward to trying the auction tool next.

Cons

Features we hope to see soon: an event counter so that events will automatically close when available seats are filled, with "# seats left" notification capability; and a true membership program with automated renewal notices.

The overall experience has been great. I recommend taking advantage of the training (both live and recorded prior topics). My organization is small with a development staff of one; but, I like that the software allows for multiple users. There are features we don't use that I imagine are very helpful to other customers.

Pros

I find it easy to use most features. As a user for over six years, I have also been pleased to see that they have continued to add features without significant increases in cost. Our organization has grown and DonorSnap continues to meet our needs.

Cons

I don't find Data Miner Platinum to be as intuitive as I'd like for a non-tech person. It is helpful that a wide variety of product training is available and the support staff have been very responsive anytime I've needed to contact them (rarely).

My overall is experience is excellent. Highly recommend. Because of the excellent customer service and customization of the crm overall we have been able to adapt Donor Snap to fit several different iterations of our organization as we grow and change. Also, the trainer, \[sensitive content hidden\], is so easy to understand and learn from. She manages the learning library and it is very well done. I had zero experience with Donor Snap before coming in as the office manager last year. I have been able to learn and manipulate the software with little one on one help, just using the recorded trainings. I also like that every time there is a hot topic a live training is done and 99% of the questions are answered quickly with little need to dig for what you need.

Pros

The support team is unbeatable. They have always walked me step by step through everything. The learning library is excellent and so well done. There are a lot custom options which has been good as we grow and change. The price point is very fair. Donor Snap continues to innovate and grow to better serve their customers.

Cons

My least favorite feature is the reports. I find that once you are in a category, donation, persona, contact you lose some ability to cross reference. So you need to manually combine reports. I think it's a donation report does not have an option for a contact ipk, only a donation ipk. That makes matching with another report hard. contact ipk is a foundation for everything.

has been great for us. We're a small organization and it's important for us to have a product that meets our needs, but is affordable. DonorSnap is very affordable and gives us all the tools we need at this point in our growth. It will also grow with us. I appreciate the responsiveness - both quality and accessibility of help when needed. They have a way of making me feel like I'm their priority and I've never felt as though they are too busy to help me. The reporting capabilities alone save this one-person-shop tons of time, allowing me to focus on donor stewardship and front-line fundraising.

Pros

is fairly intuitive (probably much more so for users who are more savvy than I) and user friendly. They are also UBER responsive to cries for help.

Cons

I personally have challenges making the forms look as I would like them to look. I feel that has more to do with me than the product, because when I ask for help they are able to make things better than I even expected them to be.

I’ve been using since starting my current position four years ago. While I’ve worked with many other CRMs, DonorSnap’s training and Help website are by far the best I’ve ever used. The videos and support materials make onboarding new staff so much easier and greatly reduce the need for additional training.

Pros

The flexibility and customization are fantastic—I can add fields to most screens, which makes it much easier to capture and manage information in our supporter database.

Cons

I would be so excited to have an interactive and easy to use app! Also, it would be great to have the ability to duplicate entries in Interaction and Tickler tabs (like available in the Donations tab.

The process of moving our data from Raisers' Edge to was completely painless and seamless. The DonorSnap team worked with us to get everything up and running practically overnight. The cost is reasonable and provides us with everything that we need to do our jobs efficiently.

Pros

The screens are easy to use; the reports are easy to compile; and the team is always quick to respond to any questions that I may have. It's also great that you provide free training sessions!

Cons

The only con is that reports can't have a customizable header that specifies exactly what the report contains --- it would be nice to see at a glance what the report is by a title listed on the top.

Our organization's overall experience with has been extremely positive and we are very happy with how everything functions and how support assists us when we don't seem to understand a functionality or if a functionality isn't working properly.

Pros

is incredibly user friendly so it is functional for not only the person who is familiar with CRM databases but also makes it easy to train someone who is not familiar. The different functions and the consistent updates are very helpful in improving our organization's data usage and tracking. If there is a bug or something that I am not understanding how to do. DonorSnap Support is very good about making sure that bugs get fixed or about providing me with the information that I was having difficulty finding on my own.

Cons

Every now and then there will be a bug with one of the functions. However, when those bugs are brought to 's attention they are often addressed and fixed within a very quick timeframe.

is a very powerful suite of tools. While a person can get up to speed quickly and begin using the basic functions almost immediately, those who are able to invest more time in learning can harness its tremendous capabilities. My organization tracks donations, sends acknowledgments, records volunteer hours, runs mass email campaigns, and designs newsletters, all within DonorSnap. I like having the ability to customize pages and add user-defined fields.

Pros

has terrific customer support. The help pages, webinars, printable handouts, and video tutorials are all well done, and I've found them very useful. When I need more, however, I know the Donorsnap team will help. They are all extremely knowledgeable, and I've yet to pose a question they couldn't answer quickly and with a thorough explanation that leaves me well-equipped to tackle things myself next time. In the age of AI and virtual assistants, it's so nice to get a personalized response from a human who understands what I'm asking for.

Cons

I wish there was a way to do a mass delete of inactive records.

I use every single day at the office. It makes my job so much easier. I LOVE donorsnap and they are also the best price around.

Pros

has been the PERFECT database for us! We are able to track our donors, our client's interactions, even our volunteer hours! It literally does everything!! We can build and send our newsletters out right from donorsnap! Its been so amazing.

Cons

The auction software (which isn't even really ) did not do what the salesperson said it would. Also the texting feature attached to donorsnap (which again, isnt even really donorsnap) was not easy to use.

My overall experience with has been HUGELY POSITIVE. I've been working with computers since they were these giant pieces of equipment and there would be a whining, beeping sound as they turned on & tried to connect to whatever the "internet" was then. Learned everything by the proverbial seat of my pants. DonorSnap is intuitive and user-friendly - even for a Boomers like myself. Our little nonprofit is, and has always been, very volunteer driven. There have been many hands in our database, and when we switched to DonorSnap from a different application, it was wonderful how much easier it was to better organize and clean up data.

Pros

I especially appreciate what I would call the "logic" interwoven into 's design. Well, at least it is fairly easy to sync with my logic (which may or may not be a high bar, hee hee.) But seriously, it is usually easy to try new things in the program using a "now what would make sense" approach first. After that, the "Help" options are terrific! I also would like to compliment the ready responsiveness of the team at the company. Although they and my organization are on opposite sides of the country, I can get a response way after the typical work day is done in their area.

Cons

Nothing about per se. The only "con" in my experience is that I'm very part-time, and don't have as much time as I would like for the wonderful training they offer.

I absolutely love , I use this program every day for my work. I also love that anytime I need help with anything, I get help right away and everyone has been very friendly and helpful.

Pros

I love how user-friendly it is! I also love that every time I need help I can find a video to watch and if I still need help, customer service is amazing.

Cons

I don't really have anything to complain about. If I run into a problem, there is always a way to get the help I need.
