The AI receipt scanning is really convenient and saves me from having to manually enter all the details from a receipt. The app is also quick and responsive, and I find the overall layout pretty straightforward. I’ve had a really good experience with Expensify overall. It’s easy to use and has made keeping up with expenses and receipts much less time consuming. I haven’t had any major issues with the app so far. Pros Expensify is a great platform. One of the best features is simply not having to keep track of paper receipts anymore. You can take a photo of a receipt right within the Expensify app or upload one from your device. If a receipt arrives by email, you can just forward it directly to Expensify. The auto-categorization works very well, and I especially like how easy it is to create rules for recurring expenses. Once you've set up a rule to capture the appropriate details, Expensify can automatically fill them in the next time around, which saves a lot of repetitive work. The reports are also clean, organized, and professional. I've had no problem with my workplace accepting the Expensify report format as submitted. Cons As an individual user, you do have to put a little time in up front to set up the expense categories your business wants you to use, but once that's done, Expensify is a breeze. Pros The customer support is top notch. The platform is extremely easy to use and follow and uploading receipts is a breeze. Totally saves me time on my mobile application. In addition, reporting is quick, easy and accurate. No suprises. Cons Honestly---nothing. They are always innovating. What I like most is their support services. Saves so much time after a trip to find and organize then document the expense. Now they are real time inputs , have found so may small items that were previously lost or not logged. Pros Great way to stay up to date with your business travel expenses. Helps provide an organized way to manage and track all expenses, so when I get back a simple share sends all my itemized receipts to be reimbursed. Also use to track my contractor expense and can create any header. Cons Nothing yet, there response time to any questions are same day with follow up. No bugs or issues have been seen so far. It saves time, keeps expenses organized, and makes the whole submission and reimbursement process much easier. The interface is straightforward and convenient for regular use. Pros Expensify makes managing expenses simple and convenient. I like how easy it is to upload receipts, track expenses, and submit reports without having to spend much time on manual work. Cons There are a few features and workflows that can take some time to get familiar with, but overall I haven’t faced any major issues while using Expensify. It did wonders for organizing my expenses, so important when operating a one-person business. The program not only helped me identify my monthly expenses, not only for my business but also for my personal ones as well, but also was a godsend when tax time rolled around. I was able to generate reports for every expense category which allowed me to obtain my annual expenses for each one. By inserting expenses into Expensify as I made or paid them, I didn’t have to root around for receipts before filling out my tax returns. I highly recommend this program for anyone who needs to organize their spending and keep on budget. Pros Easy to use---generates reports at the end of the year or when I need them. It also keeps an accurate record of what I'm spending day to day. Plus it keeps the reports for each month indefinitely within the program, so I can go back to compare expenses from previous years for particular expense categories. Cons I don't really have anything bad to say about Expensify. It has definitely filled my financial organizational needs and has kept me on track since I began using it. I was taught through it with a colleague and I completely understand how to use it pretty fast. Pros I like that it's was really simple to use. The User Interface is not confusing and it is mostly self explanatory. Everything is labellled clearly and you can easily navigate into different folders Cons The concierge picture of the AI digital agent looks a bit unfriendly. The AI also seems to be quite slow or bugs and take a while to reply which may be an issue. But it is useful to have.
