It can walk you through labeling and submitting an expensive, and then it keeps track of the expense for you as it goes through the system, keeping you apprised of the status. It saves Accounting a lot of time not having to save out receipts one at a time and enter transactions manually. The new version needs some improvement. Pros I love that the classic version of Expensify is easy for users to understand. It is clean. We linked our credit card feeds so transactions import automatically which saves so much time instead of manual data entry into Sage Intacct. Cons I do not like the updated version of Expensify. It is not as clean for users and feels clunky in places like the filters for expenses. The implementation also took longer than it should have because we kept running into issues. It’s intuitive, easy to use, and the receipt scanning and mileage calculation features save a significant amount of time. Customer support has also been responsive and helpful whenever I’ve needed assistance. While I’d like to see a more comprehensive audit log for tracking changes to expenses, the platform has been reliable and has made expense management much more efficient. Pros I’ve had a good experience with Expensify. It’s very easy to use, with a simple and intuitive interface that makes submitting and managing expenses quick and hassle-free. The receipt upload feature is excellent. Just snap a photo, and it captures the details accurately, saving a lot of time. I also like the mileage calculation feature, which uses maps to calculate travel distances accurately, making it easy to claim mileage expenses without any manual calculations. Customer support has also been responsive and helpful whenever I’ve needed assistance. Dedicated support makes it easy to communicate and have that customer-client relationship. Cons One area where Expensify could improve is its audit trail. It doesn’t provide a comprehensive audit log of user changes to an expense, making it difficult to track who modified what and when. A more detailed change history would improve transparency and make auditing and troubleshooting much easier. It has reduced paperwork, sped up reimbursements, and improved visibility over spending, making the whole process smoother and more organised. Pros Pros: What I like most about Expensify is how easy it is to use. Capturing receipts, submitting expenses, and getting approvals is quick and straightforward. The receipt scanning and automation features save a lot of time and reduce manual work. Cons Cons: At times, receipt scanning doesn’t pick up all details correctly, so minor manual edits are needed. For this purpose, it works fine and gets the job done. I don’t use advanced features like team management or reporting, so my experience is based only on basic use. Cons I am yet to find a negative, it offers everything I need. If there is an app, then great, ive not seen it, if not, maybe an app?
