### "Expensify solved spend issues"

I sincerely love expensify. I can see the receipts my team turns in, follow up on purchases, and track my own spend to insure alignment.

Pros

Our expense reporting was outdated and problematic, leaving gaps and requiring reconciliation. Expensify streamlined the process. We have hundreds of employees that posses a corporate card which used to feel risky, expensify has given us confidence that our money is well spent and tracked.

Cons

Not all vendors allow for syncing receipts. Manual upload is a pain but still better than having to keep a physical copy of the receipt for every purchase.

I loved being able to organize my trip expenses as a freelancer and submit them in a professional way using Expensify.

Pros

This app is easy to use and offers a great resource for self-employed/freelancers to submit expenses to a client. You can quickly take photos of receipts and organize them into a PDF report for submitting/keeping for your files.

Cons

Considering that I don't submit expenses all the time, the price point on the software didn't seem worth the investment to me personally. If you are trying to keep track of weekly expenses, though, it could be a great fit for you.

Pros

This is saving me so much time not having to review excel print outs of expenses. It also allows staff to submit claims quicker as they can photo receipt and submit claims while away from the office if needed.

Cons

I don't like how you have to have a different policy for each currency that someone could be paid in. We reinburse staff in three currencies and i need a policy for each. You should be able to have one policy and the staff member can decide which currency he would prefer to be reimbursed in.

The ongoing costs could be prohibitive but after working it into our grants, it was much easier to afford for our smaller organization.

Pros

Expensify makes it easy to submit expenses with their mobile app, where you can take pictures of receipts and create maps to calculate mileage. It does a great job of keeping you apprised of where your expense is in the reimbursement process.

Cons

While once you learn how to create a report, it's fairly simple to use, learning how to submit a report for the first time is not as intuitive as you would hope it to be. If you're pretty tech savvy, you can figure it out, but it wasn't as straight forward at first as other software I use.

Pros

This app is a life-saver when it comes to automating the process. One click and your report is generated in real-time. Expensify is also great for tracking receipts, it can automatically extract key information from receipts, making the filing process a breeze.

Cons

I wished it was more affordable but it's worth it

It was super easy getting Expensify set up and has been easier to use and complete expebses.

Pros

With the Expensify it's the easiest way to do your expenses. You can easily take pictures of the receipts on your phone and have them all organized based on our companies requirements for expenses and travel. Since everything is connected with our finance team, we get our expenses paid our much quicker than before.

Cons

Sometimes the app does crash but has only happened a few times. Other than that, I love Expensify.

We just started using it and it's amazing. So easy to use and we're justing getting into it. Switched over from another expense tool and this is so much better. I recommend checking it out and trying it for yourself. So much automation and planning so less you have to worry about and manage from doing your expenses to signing off on them.

Pros

Super easy, fully automated. You can map out and plan when your expenses are sent out form daily to weekly cadences. Checks in with you to make sure everything is up to date and that your expenses are done on time and you get your money back right away. Anyone can easily use it even if you've never done expenses or needed to do them before. I see a cool feature for next day or rapid reimbursement.

Cons

To be honest I have yet to find anything wrong with Expensify or any issues. Time will tell if the notifications can become bothersome or an annoying issue but we shall see.

It is the best to not miss any expense in a business trip. It is quick and you can take even photos of your bills from the app itself.

Pros

In my company we are constantly doing business trips and it can get very complicated to follow up with bills. Thanks to this app is super easy for employees to keep track as you can take photos and add the expense super easily from your phone.

Cons

I have used this tool for many trips and it has been only positive so far. The only thing I have not used in this app is the customer service as I have not had any problems so far.

Pros

I love the ease of manually creating receipts and adding them to Monthly reports. The organization options are great for when it's time to file taxes.

Cons

I don't like how sometimes the "smart scan" doesn't actually scan properly. I think it's easier to just manually insert expenses.

I love how I can create reports for expenses that include receipts so I don't have to keep them with me. I can just throw them away once I've taken a picture of them

Great help when travelling for business, it eliminates the need for collecting printed receipts, or taking pictures of everything and then manually send the expense report. It's a must for all sizes of companies

Pros

Ease of use, effectiveness, polished UI and UX, AI system to auto-detect receipts, ability to customize the expense.

Cons

Somtimes the batch processing (AI) takes a while, and then you have to modify a lot of scans by fixing the same mistakes.

I work for a nonprofit and want to focus my time on service, not billing. Expensify does all the heavy lifting and I am always confident that the receipts have processed in the proper manner.

Pros

My favorite thing about Expensify is the intelligence behind every entry/transaction. Submitting a receipt is as easy as forwarding an email. Love that. Approval process is a cinch, and I am grateful that processing receipts for my organization is stress free.

Cons

We haven't figured out a way to designate categories automatically, so even though I have the same receipts every month, I still have to go in and find (and remember) the project that it is designated to. Perhaps it's our customizations, but it would be nice to have basically touchless receipting for the same monthly transactions.

Great! We have numerous managers that travel and they can do their expenses while on the road and and wait to get back in the office.

Pros

Love that you can snap a photo of your receipt right when you get it - or you can just forward an email right to receipts and it will be in Expensify the next time you log in.

Cons

If a code for something has changed or is not on the list it take awhile for our accounting to update things.

Pros

I love that it allows for a user to submit their banking information so that they can get direct deposit.

Cons

It's somewhat not intuitive, some people confuses expenses and reports. Reviewing receipts should have more checkpoints.
