Pros Submitting an expense is straight forward and the amount of things I have to think about are minimized by the platform taking care of actually submitting expense reports.\[ Cons There were a lot of unnecessary features (at least for our purpose) that in my opinion diluted the platform. I don't give it a huge recommendation. Our company is switching to a new easier to use the tool. Pros The tool makes it easy to add receipts through smart scanning and filling out a lot of the information. Cons The tool is hard to navigate. The difference between expenses and reports sounds good, but gets confusing and sometimes I'll end up with duplicate expenses. Login doesn't work sometimes as well. Review Source Dawn L. I enjoy the ability to break things down into different policies which helps when we have one-off events. I also like that you can adjust the approver when a different department needs to be billed. Cons It has the occasional glitch which isn't a deal breaker but it is annoying. We will try and add an expense and it will essentially freeze, and the page needs to be refreshed. Pros Expensify is great for keeping track of, and submitting expenses over a long period. It allows you to easily track and forward expenses, and helps to keep a categorical archive of receipts. It's been easy to use on the desktop as well as the mobile app. Pros The auto-scanning/populating of receipts, the appearance and UI/UX, the frequency and style of notifications, and the options for sorting like cost center, groups, etc. Cons Honestly I haven't run into anything I dislike. Sometimes I try to change my report titles and it doesn't save, and it takes multiple attempts, but that might be more user error than anything. No complaints thus far, after 3 years of use. Huge pain point. Pros It seems to be going in the right direction. Cons The 2-3 times I've called, customer service uses lingo that isn't easy to understand. Its easy and effective for all the company members to track our expenses and/or even cost save. Cons Billing - I feel billing should be more flixible in regards to different plans depending on use. I used to dread submitting expenses and now it's a simple process that takes me no time at all. I'm so glad that my employer chose to use Expensify. It was so easy to learn and I really can't say enough great things about it. Pros I love how simple the process is to record and submit my expenses each month. I have my credit card connected to Expensify so it automatically brings all of my purchases in each month saving me the time to enter each one manually. Cons There isn't anything I don't like about the software. I think it's a great tool for anyone looking to streamline company expense tracking. Pros I like the fact you can upload multiple receipts simultaneously because that saves time compared to having to do them individually. Cons There are a lot of categories you can classify receipts for management to approve the expense, but sometimes there isn't a close category that matches the expense. Pros Expensify has all the easy to use components that most employees can adapt to quickly. Drag and drop expenses from the computer or mobile device makes expense management a breeze. No more holding onto receipts, just snap and upload. Cons There isn't much not to like. Snap, upload, audit, submit for expenses. Cons No specific negatives on the software itself, though we wish we could centralize the approval part on our Slack system. May 9, 2017 2.0 Pros I went with expensify for the price and because I thought the UI was polished. It looks good but has flaws... really it was price. Cons Not having support for a business product is a joke. Especially when the product has bugs and known issues. I connected my domain to my personal account, giving access to those accounts to the business. There is no way to undo this within the app. I was chatting with one of their support reps and he set him self to away after giving me a canned and incorrect response! Absolutely unacceptable.
