My overall experience with Emburse Expense Enterprise has been very positive. The system streamlines expense reporting from start to finish, making it easier for users to submit accurate information and for approvers to review and process items quickly. It’s reliable, user-friendly, and well-suited for organizations that need both efficiency and strong financial controls. The transparency and auditability built into the platform have been especially valuable in supporting smooth day‑to‑day operations.

Pros

Emburse Expense Enterprise is easy to navigate and makes the entire expense submission and approval process much more efficient. The interface is clean, the workflows are intuitive, and automation helps reduce manual effort and errors. The platform also provides strong visibility into approvals and spending, which is especially helpful for maintaining compliance and ensuring timely processing.

Cons

The main limitations I’ve noticed are that some customization options feel restricted without admin access, and certain pages can take a moment to load when working with larger volumes of expenses. A few interface elements could also benefit from additional flexibility to better match internal processes, though these are relatively minor compared to the overall functionality.

Overall, its quite useful tool to reimburse my expense in any cases. Its simple UI and automated workflow to create expense reports. No learning curve at all.

Pros

We could create a new expense report easily just by adding receipts. I think AI sorts all those receipts by Data/Place and helps to create reports in very easy way. Also, when you upload receipts, somehow it automatically fills out some inputs in reports.

Cons

I forget exact warning messages but when we create a new expense report with a data range, like can't have mismatch between the data selected for reports and the dates on the associated receipts. It took me little bit of time to figure it out.

awful, a disaster. the system was so limited on what it could do and it did not provide information or functionality that we thought were basic and common sense.

Drop down menus are somewhat useful, but overall awkward interface.

Pros

I've used chrome river for various roles within my organization. It's a great way to track expenses I submitted for reimbursement. I love the use friendly interface and how it allows me to upload a pdf scan of the document. Being able to upload the scan has saved time that I would've spent writing each report.

Cons

The math feature on the app isn't right sometimes. For example, it reports $503.86 as 503,860 which is confusing.

Easy and quick to use. It doesnt require alot of training or complexities to enter expenses into the system for reimbursement. The graphic layout makes it very speedy
