Pros

Cloud based, security, access to everything when I need it, electronic prescriptions, etc. The interface is generally pretty and I will say the support is good.

Cons

I appreciate the new developments, but they don't seem focused on the most commonly used features. The Kiosk is "neat" but I'd rather be able to see some of the specifics from the "home" or appointment screen. There is less customizability than I realized. The team is, in fairness, responsive to requests, but mine haven't made the cut yet. I get that lots of people have lots of ideas, and they are trying to expand the product. I just don't use some of the features they are putting time into at this point.

Pros

New and existing employees pick up on using it quickly. Navigates easily and is very reliable. Everyone at my office loves it! It's easy to login remotely as well.

Cons

Limited report functionality. More patient friendly videos and education needed. More patient friendly treatment plan format needed.

Pros

automats the dentist operation in a very smooth way and avoid all scheduling problem safe time and money, and less headache

Cons

works on a cloud base, so there is the possibility to disconnect and stop all operations. so it should have an on-premise copy.

Too long to roll out the Analytics Dashboard as have know about for some time. Took awhile to improve Forms/Storyline.

Two things to talk about here: 1)Curve Playbook is a customizable dashboard that will juice up your morning huddles; and 2)Analytics will give you significantly more horsepower when it comes to reporting. Both features will be included in your current subscription. If your practice needs advanced analytics--for a group practice, as an example--there would be an additional charge. Our online forms did take longer to complete than we wished, but, wow! You have to admit the new features are impressive. Regardless, your comment is noted... we need to pick up the pace! Very user-friendly software.

Pros

We love the versatility that this cloud-based software has given us. It truly is mobile! We also appreciate the progressiveness of the company. They are constantly trying to improve this wonderful product. Most recently, we have started to use "Forms" to allow our patients to pre-register before their appointments.

Cons

The only thing I can think of about CurveHero that we struggle with is the format for the date of birth.

I love the ease of using Curve - very user friendly. When we had a new employee start it did not take her long to be able to pick it up.

Cons

I really dislike the reports- I struggle with not having the options and selections that i did with softdent.

Pros

It is very intuitive. New employees grasp it very quickly. The lackof backups and updates is also a giant positive.

Cons

I have complained about the lack of x-rays being automated within the recare system since the day I started. I don't think you even care about this complaint anymore

Easy to learn and great to work with!

Pros

I have worked on various software in my career and they have pros and cons. Curve is the first software that ranks highest in productivity, clarity and customer support. I would highly recommend it.

Cons

I really do nor have any cons for this software. The booking and treatment planning is well laid out, the ledger is very straightforward and the reports can be produced for any information required.

Ease of use, intuitive , constantly improving, customer service, accessible from anywhere, layout is clean.

Mobile version is very limited, constant bugs that interfere with use, improvements that were suggested did not manifest or took a long time to take effect.

Cant even begin to describe the impact curve has had on my practice and the way in which we operate as a business

Pros

Cloud based, access anywhere anytime, scalability is instant. No fees for new users . With other companies it seemed like you were being punished for growing, with curve it's celebrated. Real team players who play on your side versus just about any other company I've seen in the dental space.

Cons

When the internet crashes, (not curve) you are down, I believe a cache update for this is coming soon though

Originally purchased curve to avoid needing a server in my office. I was excited to use the odontogram. Overall experience has been excellent. Very proud to be a Curve user and tell colleagues to try it. Best functions include; Custom Forms, Easy Treatment Planning, Transitions from back to the front office, Customer Support is AMAZING. Good functions include customizable reports but needs support often to create exactly what you are looking for. Areas still improving include some buggy responses on odontogram, imaging module sometimes runs slow.

The training modules are good. More videos would be helpful for the community, less text. It is has been difficult to explain invoices, insurance, deposits, etc. This is somehthing I know you are working on.

Pros

I can work remotely without any problem. It is very easy to navigate off-site for after hours and pandemics!

Cons

The screens could be consolidate so you don't have to go to another screen for additional information on the same patient.

For the most part, we are happy with our experience with Curve. However, there are a few issues that haven't been addressed because we are in Canada and are awaiting some government approval. That is frustrating for us as one of the big reasons for choosing Curve initially is because we thought it was a Canadian company that would be able to keep thing current and advancing at all times.

The fact that it is cloud-based.

Cons

The lack of improvements because awaiting Canadian government approval.

Cloud based-can pull it up at home. Ease of training new employees. I love the treatment planning as well.

Pros

I love that it is easy to use. It's easy to train new employees without much trouble. I love that you have training webinars on anything new. Also, officially orange and community is great!

Cons

It "freezes up" sometimes. Also, It does not always show secure. Many times I will look and see that the "lock" is not there.

### "Constant "upgrades" costing you money!!!"

Curve could be a great software if they stopped "updating" their software, which has caused numerous problems including, & not limited to: scanning documents, screen resolution, and ease of use. Initially, I was very impressed with Curve, they seemed to go above and beyond the call of duty in getting the conversion that we needed. As time went by, there started to be issues with ease of use as they frequently updated their system. In 2013, they changed the way that the screen resolution behaved, making the screens that were okay'd by the company, no longer user friendly, causing multiple problems with the way the system behaved... Their solution was that we had to buy new screens and there was nothing they could do about it. Recently, they changed the way that you upload files into their database. What was just a one step process has now become three... The scanner that I purchased for our practice was more than adequate to their guidelines according to Curve before the transition. The company's response is to buy new scanners. There wasn't any communication with us regarding this, prior to, or after this "update"... It wasn't until it didn't work at all that I had to call and find out what the issue was.

Not cool, for sure, and we apologize. We are constantly making changes to the software, as you said, to incorporate requests from our customers, to make sure our software stays relevant with newer hardware... It is unusual for one of our customers to find that new enhancements are no longer compatible with some hardware. Usually, that happens with older hardware, but on occasion the connection is lost. You can also imagine that with so many different models of scanners and monitors it's a challenge to get it right every time. But we'll keep trying! Thank you for your feedback. I am not sure if this software is as user friendly as dentrix or softdent

Pros

cloud based, nice graphics, decent reports, resonable phone support. I also like that the updates are done automatically

Cons

expensive....thought I would not need a server but I like my imaging software better than Curve. In the perio charting pockets of 5mm or more should be plotted in RED

There are so many great features, and great tutorials on how to use them. If you need help they are there for you in minutes. If you ask them to add a feature, they take it seriously and do the research and usually add it. Its nice to be able to run reports on just about anything. Compatible with most add-on services too.

Would like to able to print more screens and jump to charting from the sidekick treatment plans.

The number one feature of Curve that I appreciate the most is that fact that it is cloud-based and has saved our office money and the hassle of maintaining and servicing an onsite server. Yet, the cloud-based product is also a downfall, as we are on the internet and Curve's mercy when there is an issue or outage. There are quirky things that happen with this live cloud base program, that I feel makes our office vulnerable to issues, lost appointments, information, letters..etc, that a server based program does not allow. (I find this with Quick Books cloud program also. ) The ease of use and features and functionality, I would say is 3 1/2 stars, the overall concept is very simple and user-friendly, however, I feel there is room for improvement especially in the billing area. We have enjoyed being a Beta office for forms and would welcome the opportunity to be a Beta office in the future. Your strongest asset is your customer service. They all are great! They are concerned and focused on helping us achieve our daily functions without interruption, and work hard to help us customize our system to fit our office needs. (Thank You) Your customer service has helped our office maintain confidence in Curve, as you evolve it to new heights. I do worry about a lost or vulnerability of our office information. I would appreciate updates re :your security and backup procedures on a quarterly basis , for my own peace of mind. As a society we are bombarded with news of security breaches and cyber crime, this messes with me as the office gate keeper.
