Staff addressed any issues I had immediately. I also have been able to save a great deal of time by utilizing the automated appointment reminders, and patients have responded favorable to it. The recare system and unscheduled treatment list is very easy to track. Pros I have never used this program before working here, and had to learn to use the program from scratch. Any time I have been unfamiliar with doing a task, using the community function to review tutorials has saved me alot of time, and I have been able to move ahead with the task without having to call support. Very easy to learn!!! Cons I would like the system to have a way to communicate with patients by text or email whe their recare is due. November 28, 2020 5.0 Good- I have used it several times while temping. Pros Curve dental software is quite easy to use and navigate! I have used many dental softwares and this one is quite unique! I like how easy it is to chart (2 steps), convenient for patients to access paper work prior to coming to office, and it is nice how it can be accessed remotely (not just in the office). The format is quite easy to read/graphics are nice. I like how the charting is 3d like. Cons Considering that this is a cloud based software, it is quite important to have decent internet. If the internet goes down, you cannot chart via the web. Not the best software on mobile devices such as an iPad, mobile device etc. There is NO electronic signature for patients to via home (I know a lot of offices want to be paperless because of the corona virus/germs). It was also convenient to navigate and personalize with just a few clicks. Additionally, the customer service was outstanding as they were always responsive and helpful. December 13, 2016 5.0 Compare to other software, Curve is definitely one of the top ones out there. For the service and quality you get, it is hard to find any other that compares to it. I also like the fact that they are continually working on improving the software. Customer service is also number 1. Pros Ease of use, great customer service. Can't customize the pre made hot buttons or add any at all and no lab tracker at all. Pros There's one way to things and not 5,000 loops to do the same thing. Straight forward. Our office went to the Orange Summit we enjoyed getting to know all of Curves staff. We also enjoyed the beautiful Snowbird resort. Getting to see all the new things Curve is coming out with. I utilize the program primarily for charting. I am not fully familiar with all of its features, but have heard positive feedback from those who do use it as administrators. Pros The ability to log into the program from any computer or phone with internet connection is a great feature and extremely convenient. There's also no need to backup the PHI or data, as it is all uploaded to the cloud. Cons Sometimes the program can feel laggy, and it's difficult to know if it's due to internet connection vs the website itself. This can also occur more frequently when loading x rays. But in this case we dropped the ball. We were delayed in responding to Dr. Della Croce's request for assistance on a recent Sunday by about about 40 minutes. Typically, during off hours, we aim to be in touch with our customers within 15 minutes after they request assistance. In this case our on-call support technician was unfortunately delayed, which placed Dr. Della Cruce in a difficult situation with one of her patients. We have reviewed our policies and procedures with regard to after-hours support and made a few changes that should prevent a similar incident from occurring in the future. Eagle Family Dentistry has been a customer for more than one year and during that time we have been able to provide them with prompt technical assistance. Again, we regret that we were delayed in helping Dr. Della Cruce see to the needs of a patient. We offer our sincere apologies and wish her and her team only the very best. LS Lucy S. Admin Health, Wellness and Fitness Used the software for: 1-2 years ### "Billing and Forms" December 21, 2016 5.0 Great Software, however it feels like not quite set for dental practice as billing does not reflect teeth #s, or cuts off the description of the procedure; payments from insurance do not reflect insurance company name when it is "invoice", not "statement", and if we print a range of dates of service, statements look confusing, hard to read, electronic forms take a long time to fill out, actually longer than our paper ones, so there are a lot of subject I could dwell on, but I also know you are trying to improve every area, and your customer service helps us. The transition from Dentrix to Curve went pretty smoothly. We love how we can access Curve from anywhere. Cloud software seems to be the next new thing when it comes to business software and we are happy to be one step ahead of the game by using Curve. Plus their customer support is great! Pros How you can access the software from any computer and make the changes that are needed. Cons The perio charting. The font is WAY too small. Pros Customer support has been very helpful to me, I am new to office management and also insurance billing so the streamlined process of sending claims has made it easier for me to learn. Cons I wish the software could account for or take in to consideration procedure frequencies, so that the system would know when certain procedures are completed and would calculate them as out of pocket when appropriate, I've used other systems in the past with this feature and its very helpful.
