I really like the ease of use, at least once you are used to the system. I really like that you can see all important details clearly, and in one place.

Pros

I really like the layout and accessibility of AthenaOne. It is fairly user friendly and I also love the purple! At first, there can be a lot to learn but AthenaOne's customer service center can answer almost any question, and if you still need more help you can create a case no problem. I love that you can have templates for appointments, keep track of meds, allergies, and problems easily. I really like their recent update where the top of the chart now shows demographic information. Its extremely easy to see all the info you need in one place.

Cons

Sometimes AthenaOne has limitations on other software we use, for example Klara won't pull it more than two contacts for messaging because of Athena's integration limitation. I do sometimes have frustrations with their billing team, sometimes I will be working on a claim and some employee of AthenaOne will edit the claim or change something when I don't want them to. I've also heard that costs can be pricy and are continuing to rise.

Overall, my experience with athenaOne was very positive. The platform supported efficient patient workflow management and helped simplify many day-to-day administrative and clinical tasks. Compared to other EMR systems I have worked with, athenaOne felt modern, organized, and easier to navigate, which contributed to a smoother experience for both staff and providers.

Pros

athenaOne provided an intuitive and efficient workflow that made daily clinical operations feel more streamlined compared to other EMR systems I have used. The interface was user-friendly, appointment scheduling and patient management were organized well, and the platform helped improve communication and workflow efficiency within the practice. I also appreciated the overall responsiveness and accessibility of important patient information throughout the system.

Cons

Some workflows and customization options could require additional training or adjustment depending on the needs of the practice. Certain updates or workflow changes occasionally created a learning curve for staff members transitioning between processes.

Athena One is the reason my mental and physical health is thriving again because it notifies me of all appointments, reminds me of all testing needing done and results, and keeps it all organized for bigger situations. Such as important medical appointments for more serious issues.

Pros

Athena One never fails to notify me of my appointment reminders, remind me to do the appointment scheduling necessary with user interface and I have never encountered any bugs and issues. It’s the best option and value for the money with excellent security and 24/7 customer support.

Cons

That I didn’t discover it before wasting time using different appointment managing tools with little to no security regarding my information.

Switched from

[PatientNow](https://www.capterra.com/p/92269/PatientNOW/)

Because Patient Now did not send notifications, they did not reach out to me to do mental Health check ins and they were so disorganized and unattentive, they called me the wrong name for 3 months at appointment scheduling therefore my paperwork was never correct.

AthenaOne has made managing my practice so much smoother and more efficient. I truly appreciate how it helps both my team and my patients.

Pros

I've been using athenaOne for a few months now, and I have to say, it's made a world of difference in how I manage my practice. One of the standout features for me has been the automated billing. It's such a time-saver! I no longer have to stress over the small details or chase down payments. Everything is handled smoothly, and I can focus more on my patients instead of paperwork. Another highlight has been the claims management feature. It keeps everything organized and helps minimize any errors. I appreciate that I get regular updates, which gives me peace of mind.

Cons

I did run into some frustrating moments, especially when it came to customer support. When I had a question or needed help, the response time was slower than I expected, which made things a bit stressful. Overall, while I appreciate the functionality of athenaOne, I just wish their customer service could keep up with the rest of the platform.

Ehr with a lot of features, however it is time consuming to use and set up. It does allow for submitting claims easily.

Pros

Highly customizable to your needs. The macros feature is create for routine tasks. The template creation is great.

Cons

Has great features but they are complex to implement (such as coding templates). It is also very structured and only one task can be completed at a time, which is time consuming.

Overall, for being a small business, we did not have a good experience. For the price you are paying, you should be able to get ahold of someone from every department, not have to use a middle man.

Pros

I liked that Athena included everything you would need in the software. It was not the simple version, you were able to do everything from the same software.

Cons

I did not like how athena outsourced quite a bit. Billing was outsourced, so trying to get anything answered on that in was a nightmare.

I think this is a great platform to use when booking appointment and and speaking to your doctor directly.

Pros

I am able to schedule my appointments and talk to my doctor. It is very convenient and easily accessible.

Cons

A lot of times I’m am not able to see many options for appointments but when I called directly, I have more options.
