### "Greatest software for doctor offices"

My overall experience has been super great and i recommend for anyone who is looking to add this for their doctor services

Pros

I absolutely love this app! Its for my family doctor and it has all my appointments, my lab test result's and i can pay any of my copays needed all in this app! I can also send any messages if needed to my doctor as well so its just a super convenient app all around!!!!

Cons

There isnt anything i can think of that is bad about this software

My overall experience is positive as it allows me to have multiple screens open from within the program to properly do my job and keep the patient flow moving and not slowing down.

Pros

What I enjoy most about Athena is the ability to have my billing, schedule, and chart open so I can multitask and complete my day to day work.

Cons

What I least like about Athena is how it takes a while to open anything and, at times, it will freeze when trying to open the documents needed.

Pros

I am able to schedule my appointments and talk to my doctor. It is very convenient and easily accessible.

Cons

A lot of times I’m am not able to see many options for appointments but when I called directly, I have more options.

Mostly positive--like I mentioned the pros outweigh the cons. I wish all doctors used this straightforward system.

Pros

It's pretty easy to use and helpful to reach the doctor without the extra hassle of a phone call to the office.

Cons

My complaint isn't specific to this app, but sometimes there's info placed on there before you can reach a doctor to discuss.

### "price increases and crashes"

it crashes way too often. Updates almost always come with issues that need to be addressed over the weeks after the release. I am frustrated with the crashes and increasing cost and to switch is always an issue

Pros

It started out less expensive and had some good features

Cons

They increase the cost based, and it is based on gross revenue - so like everything in medical, you work harder and everyone takes a bigger slice, without being able to increase rates to accommodate. They charge primary care a higher percentage than specialists so the rich continue to get richer. They do respond to suggestions. For instance there is not "out of office" reply option for patient messages, and no way to send them to another provider. Ridiculous. And they refuse to address this

athenaOne streamlines your experience in communicating instantly with your healthcare providers. From scheduling, to messaging, to viewing test results, this platform does it all.

Pros

AthenaOne is the premier platform for community health resources in my city. I have found it to be a great tool in communicating seamlessly with my providers.

Cons

I feel as if they have really cornered the market in the community health field, at least in my geographical area. I do not necessarily view this as a bad thing, but it is worth noting that this is hands-down the most popular software in the Pacific Northwest.

Pros

The name I guess. The purple color them is also pleasing

Cons

The frequent and unpredictable downtimes (including on Monday afternoons during rush hour) and the turtle-speed customer support that may as well not exist.

Pros

Athena was aesthetically pleasing. I did not struggle with learning how to use it.

Cons

This was not very user friendly at the time. It also was not very patient friendly for logging in/out of the portal.

Overall it is an intuitive and easy program to access medical information and the input of information seems easy as well.

Pros

Easy to navigate and find the information I needed for each important topic. It also is mobile friendly.

Cons

Only certain carriers use it so you cannot combine data with other software/health provider information.

Overall they give quite a lot of tools, as well as custom ways to report and handle data / information. But lately I feel like they've been going "backwards" with new updates.

Pros

Very efficient, fast, and sleek software for internal employees to use. It also allows customization which is fairly rare. This goes over most reports, and letters, as well as formatted templates.

Cons

Recent changes to make AthenaOne more efficient have kind of backfired. It becomes very difficult to navigate individual client charts.

It combines scheduling, billing, and patient records all in one place, which is convenient. The interface is clean, but sometimes it feels a bit busy with a lot of information on the screen, which can be a little confusing at first. When I’ve had questions, the support team has been pretty responsive, which is nice. Overall, AthenaOne does the job well, but there’s definitely a bit of a learning curve.

Pros

The interface is straight forward and simple to use and when issues arise, the support team has been responsive and helpful.

Cons

The home page is overwhelming and difficult to navigate.

Athena is so easy to use and you could truly learn it in a day with proper training if needed as it is so user friendly.

Pros

There have been some updates to Athena that have made an already user friendly software that much more user friendly. Everything is in one place and I don’t have to search for anything.

Cons

The only con is that some of the exams that I do aren’t matched up to the codes depending on what I pick but it is an easy click to add what I need.

Overall, I use athenaOne frequently for managing my health!

Pros

Easy to use and communicate with healthcare providers. Provides easy access to health records, test results, and messaging.

Cons

Email notification lag. When you receive a message from your doctor, they will send an email to notify you, but the email comes hours after you've received the message.
