Pros

The only thing anyone could possibly like is their sakes pitch and presentation that at first glance is great and organized with what seemed to be everything in one

Cons

Everything literally. They mislead you to believe in their fast working and highly efficient options for getting the job done but end up taking more time to figure stuff out with customer service sounding less knowledgeable than we were

So far I still enjoy using this system to manage my clients and their information. I just wish they work on the responding speed for the system.

Pros

I like how I can easily navigate this system and do what I need to do. I appreciate how easily it is to use for first timer.

Cons

The whole system is slow and takes time to react. It can take up too much time when you are trying to power through paper works .

Horrible. We are planning on switching to a new system soon. This system has been more of a headache rather than a positive asset to our company.

Pros

\- Everything is in one system. - Making provider schedules is simple - Its web-based system. Which makes it easier for remote employees to have access.

Cons

\- The reports suck. It is not reliable with data given so a lot of times we are stuck not using the report or making your own manual report. And they charge extra if you want to be able to customized your own report to pull the exact data you are looking for. - The system is extremely slow and freezes a lot. Causing a lot of workflow issues. When you call them and complain they act as if its our fault instead of trying to fix the issue. - Horrible customer service. They hang up on you all the time. They are very unprofessional. - When a workflow problem is brought to their attention, with something crucial that their system should be able to do. They like to brush you off and gaslight you that your not using the system to the best of its capabilities. However, when you ask them to show you how to do what your requesting they say the system can't do that. And then try to blame your practice. How is my practice the problem when you clearly stated the system can't do that. And the issue brought up is a critical issue. If your system can't do it, bring it back to your product team to figure out and fix. They don't care about the problems the practices are having. They don't want to do meaningful updates for those who are actually using the system on a daily basis. Instead they are doing baseless updates that no one cares about just to see they are improving. Rather than fixing what is important. - Buyer be aware. This system will cause more issues than its worth. And they add an extra charge for everything. So your paying all these extra monthly fees for services that can't even do what you expect it to do. - Their billing and payment workflow is the worst. You can't move a payment that was made during a visit to pay for the past due balances. You would have to refund the patient for a credit stuck to an old date of service, just to recharge them the same amount to pay for the past due balance on a different date of service. And most times patients will not pay again. - The providers can not send a cancelation request to a pharmacy for prescription that was sent. They will have to call the pharmacy and sit on the phone for an hour to have them cancel a prescription. - When writing a prescription it doesn't automatically calculate the pills needed when putting in the quantity and frequency instructions. You have to manually calculate which leaves room for error. - Ordering labs. Sometimes when you order a lab it disappears. The lab would say they received it but there is no proof on our end it was sent. Then its worse in situations where the lab say they did not receive it when you know to yourself it was sent. But again there is not proof it was sent because the order disappeared after you created it. This affects patient care.

Switched from

[Epic](https://www.capterra.com/p/122278/EpicCare-EMR/)

We were transitioning from being hospital owned to private. To qualify for Epic you have to be hospital based or have a large physician network. If you don’t you have to pay a hospital to use their Epic system.

Alternatives considered

[Tebra](https://www.capterra.com/p/129169/Tebra/)

Reasons for choosing CureMD

Tebra was not customizable. Tebra had a very difficult and out dated billing set up for claims and remittances. It required a lot of manual work that required more employees to do the job.

It has brought me more structure in the organization of patient information and communication, which in my case is important when I coordinate cases of medical assistance in a time crisis.

Pros

I prefer to keep patient records and visit information under a single roof thus being able to respond to providers promptly and eliminating the need to ask the same questions to the provider.

Cons

I do not like the learning experience; the screen is crammed with information, and the occasional bugs make my life more difficult when I need to do something really quickly.

I have had a very good experience with Cure MD. They treat you like family (family that you like) and will always try to help you.

Pros

CureMD is a highly flexible and constantly evolving EMR platform. As our practice expanded beyond our original scope of services to serve a broader patient population, CureMD guided us through every step of updating our workflows. The system is intuitive, easy to use, and has seamlessly adapted to our changing needs. They are cloud-based and very secure. Patient information and notes are easy to read and document.

Cons

It sometimes takes longer to get the development team to come up with a solution, but definitely not longer than other companies, and they do come up with solutions.

CureMD provides practice management software and medical Billing in one suite, this makes interoperability more functional and efficient.

Pros

CureMD has several benefits which include customization, different note templates and a secured network. It has safety measures that protect patient health information

Cons

The absence of HCC Scores will enhance the billing process and care management. Integrating it with icd 10 creates opportunity to intervene and improve patient health outcomes.
