### "Great Customer Service!"

It can be more time consuming than I had expected because you have to set up a lot of the system yourself. I'm used to larger software companies that do a huge intake process and create all that in the background. With that being said, it does help you ramp up on training! Having to learn the ins and outs of how things work in the background definitely gets you used to systems functions. It's also going to be good that if I need to change somethings as we grow I can do it myself instead of having to wait on someone to assist me.

The costumer service is great and individualized. The smooth payroll process has helped our institution tremendously by allowing us to become more efficient.

Cons

Our institution is very unique as we have student and professional staff who utilize the time and attendance feature. We struggle with some customization limitations within this module.

Overall we have been extremely pleased with our migration to APS. The implementation was very smooth, training resources are abundant, and the support team is top notch.

Pros

Very easy to use, great employee self-service features, and AMAZING customer support.

Cons

There are some minor product features that we'd like to see, but nothing critical.

### "Lots of functionality and service for NOT a lot of money"

It saved me time doing payroll and it doesn't cost an arm and a leg.

Pros

While working on implementation, I was amazed at all the options and possible ways I could setup our account. Completely scalable to meet any company needs regardless of size. Reporting options are extremely comprehensive but if they don't have what you need, you can use Report Builder and make your own report. Employees love it because they can obtain their own credentials to gain access to their private payroll information. From there, they can update address, W2, etc, or just see their paystubs. APS also tracks in/out times for non-exempt employees.

### "Staff is friendly."

Pros

Staff is very friendly and always available to assist. Easy to use. Tracks both our paid time off and paid sick time. We are a smaller company (less than 50 employees) and it fits our needs.

Cons

The only con is that it is hard at first to run reports.

Payroll takes minutes now where it used to take hours. Very thankful for the efficiency APS brings to my role.

Pros

It absolutely organizes all of the aspects of HR. Once you figure out where everything is and when and why you need to get into these areas, it is very convenient.

Cons

It's not always the most intuitive. You definitely have to spend some time in there figuring everything out.

### "Made the move to APS - Great Customer Service"

The move to APS was smooth. The customer support walked us through every step of the transition.

Pros

APS is easy to navigate. Employees have access to their own information -- PTO, timesheets, paystubs, W2s. The customer service is outstanding. Each account has a service team that can be reached by phone or email. They respond quickly and resolve any issues.

Cons

The benefit portal of APS still needs further developing. It is a bit tedious to make an update to an employee's benefit election/deduction. But APS is always improving and is open to customer's suggestions.

I used to only use our accounting software to calculate payroll insurance. Sometimes the payment was incorrect resulting in over or underpayments. Now I don't have to worry since APS payroll does that for me. Also, I don't have to "cut" payroll checks. We use the bank card and everything is handled electronically so I don't have to hand deliver payroll checks anymore. This allows me to be absent on payroll day if I need to go out of town

Pros

the software is so simple to use, even with just the basic knowledge of payroll and book keeping

Cons

the link to upload to our accounting software is not user friendly

Our employees have taken more ownership in managing their time and updating information. It has taken us from a manual process to being much more efficient.

Pros

I really like the layout and functionality of APS. We received thorough training and can click the "chat now" button any time we run into a question. Our employees love how easy the e-self serve site is to look at their available time and to request time off.

Cons

It has taken a bit to learn the reporting features, but the process has not been frustrating just a learning curve.

### "Takes the worry away!"

I love using APS! It takes the worry off my shoulders of processing payroll. It's user-friendly, intuitive, and helps to smooth the payroll process. There are a lot of different features and a lot of reports that you can run. It's a great system, and I highly recommend it!

Pros

APS is a great system for doing payroll and running employee-related reports. I like the ease of the system - it's very user-friendly! It also takes very little time to actually run payroll, compared to other systems I've used in the past.

Cons

The reporting could be a little better, but the customer service is always helpful to try and customize reports for us, if we need them to.

The single biggest benefit was efficiency in our time-keeping and payroll administration processes. Better reporting has enabled us to make better decisions.

Pros

Everything we need is in one package. I think the reporting capabilities are excellent (especially the report builder). All of the standard functions (employee additions, maintenance, documentation...) are reasonably straightforward to use.

Cons

Some of the advanced features can take a little time to learn. Love the report builder, but took a bit to get the hang of it.

### "APS meets all of our needs!"

APS meets all of our needs as a small business with fluctuating payroll needs. We can access the system anywhere with an internet connection. Changes and updates can easily be made and reviewed. They ensure our tax documents are filed in a timely manner. Communication lines are always open. Our account representative is always friendly and ready to help with any questions that we have. We've had a great experience over the last 6+ years that we've been using APS payroll!

Pros

Ease of use and ability to make changes quickly.

Cons

Some reports aren't available and are hard to figure out how to create. I can set scheduled hours to keep employees from working beyond shift schedule.

### "Checkstub forever"

Pros

What i love most is that you can literally find whatever Checkstub you're looking for. You can chalk how many hours you worked, what you gross and youll never lose it.

Cons

Its a pretty simple app to use. You can't find too many apps like that around anymore. I have nothing bad to say
