Pros

I like the online features so staff can submit payroll anywhere and anytime. Also having all the information in one place so staff can review information without needing to involve others.

Cons

They have not been able to add Alaska as a time zone for the time clock. It seems to me to be a pretty simple fix.

Pros

I love the ability to manage benefits for employees. Goodbye to the paper lists and trying to track people down! Employees can select options via the "eselfserve" portal and I have all of my enrollment and opt-out information maintained in one spot.

Cons

By our own choice, we provide payroll options to our employees that make it difficult sometimes to manage when there are multiple options for one employee. It gets tricky and we sometimes have to add codes, but APS really strives to help us with these payroll complexities.

Pros

We like the ease of use most, but also can't say enough about the APS customer service team! They are efficient and excellent!

Cons

We have not had any "cons" in the two years we've worked with this product and APS! Anytime we've experienced a hiccup, their customer service team handled like a champ.

Pros

Ease of use. Reports for everything. Any problem I have is quickly resolved by customer support, even when the problem is often my own doing .

Cons

Wish I could figure out rate of pay change report, but I bet it's there I just haven't found it. I do find accruals to be a little confusIng, but that may be the way I set it up

Pros

APS payroll was easy to integrate with the veterinary practice and made managerial duties much easier.

Cons

We rarely had any issues while using the APS payroll services, and when we did, the employee had resolution in a timely manner.

Service is top notch: quick to answer and provide solutions, willing to submit enhancement requests. Seamless payroll system. ATS piece is great too!

Cons

Some hiccups with benefits and deductions, especially during leaves. Make up payment function is limited

My experience has been very good. I am a picky customer and not a fan of sales pitches. The conversations I had with the sales team were great. They listen to my needs, what I was looking for and answered my questions. Since that time all conversations I have had have been great.

Pros

I like that the software is very robust. There is so much that can be accomplished. I am a newer user and I am still learning. The support I receive is amazing. This is an excellent product.

Cons

Getting the kinks worked out. I think there is so many different elements to work with that it takes a little time to get it where you want it to be.

Not the best and don't know how long I will continue to use.

Pros

The submit process is easy. Not sure what else i love or like about this software.

Cons

Reporting is difficult to create new reports. Customer services representatives changes often and not all are created equal. Tax department does not appear to be subject manner experts.

They system is very easy to work with and pretty self explanatory. If you ever have any problems you can call or message customer service and they get it fixed right away.

Cons

you sometimes have to refresh to continue to submit payroll

Pros

The site is very user friendly and a huge time saver. The reports produced are very helpful for different areas of information; from headcount to weekly payroll exepense.

The customer service has really been over the top. Some of the best I've ever received. Thank you APS!

Pros

APS Payroll provides an easy to navigate visual space coupled with step-by-step instruction and processing. The functions are intuitive and time saving, with simple graphic design and flow. Training and set up was a breeze, and the customer service support we've received has always been top notch. They seem to intuit our needs before we even realize they exist. Staff are always friendly, knowledgeable and available. The reporting function is well thought out and provides a multitude of options for every scenario. Payroll processing is easy and they handle all of the taxes and deductions for us!

Cons

Record keeping within this module can be difficult to track, specifically when changes to employee wage, details, etc. are made. Other than that, I have found very few flaws to exist in this program!

There is no integration with quickbooks. There is a mobile app so that's nice, but it can be glitchy.

Tax filing, time tracking for employees, reporting. I spend little time dealing with payroll.

Pros

It has everything you need for payroll, time tracking, accruals and reports. Our hourly employees find it easy to log in and out. It allows for accruals of many different types of time (sick, vaca, personal leave, comp time, etc.) I can run payroll reports of my own design.

Pros

You actually have access to a team of folks that help you with whatever you need, unlike some others, where you get put into a phone bank and are at the mercy of whomever may happen to come on the other end of the line.

Cons

There are certain things which you need someone from their side to set up, so it's not completely controllable by the end user.

My previous job used this software and it was really great I would have access to monitor my payroll info in one place super easy to use

I have used APS for about 8 years. It is the easiest payroll system I have been associated with. It is easy to follow.

Cons

At this time I don't have any cons. We have just started utilizing the "onboarding" and are hopeful the ease is the same as the payroll.

Overall working with APS has been a great experience. They make processing payroll very easy and I would recommend them to anyone.

Pros

APS makes using and managing several payrolls at once very easy. They have a great interface and amazing customer support. The account managers are great in resolving issues and helping make sure everything is completed smoothly. The system is easy to learn and there are features to fit any company.

Cons

No complaints so far, the system is constantly improving and account managers are great in fixing problems or getting you necessary information.

Pros

Their customer service is top notch! I have a direct number to my account representative. Issues are generally resolved within the day. Employees have easy access to time keeping, time off requests, paystubs & W2s.

Cons

Needs an app for mobile check-in. Sometimes I am limited in being able to pull a report with the specific information I am needing.
