### "Good but room for improvement"

The hardest part is the reports. Trying to figure out which one I need and getting the right information. And there are times when I can't get what I need and I'm never sure if it's because it's not available or I just don't know where to find it.

Pros

Payroll is so easy! Within 10 minutes it's done.

The reports section is difficult

The software is very logical and easy to use, but better than that is the customer service at APS. Everyone on their team is friendly and over-the-top helpful. It has made all the difference for us working with this team.

Cons

As a user of APS for financial reporting, I don't have any complaints about the software.

APS's customer service is the best. They are very quick with a response and very thorough (and friendly).

Pros

Process is well laid-out and instinctive to use. Lots of reporting options.

Cons

There are lots of features that our small business will never use, but they are there if I ever need them.

The customer service is excellent. I am a difficult client to deal with as I have three companies so I am always mobile and they answer all of my questions quickly.

Pros

Easy to use and stores for years

Cons

I do not like having to deal with remembering the password or that it is not compatible with my older computer which means they have to send me a screen shot of my payroll if I am at home.

I love the customer service. They are extremely knowledgeable, friendly, quick to respond, and always trying to make the experience easier for you. Sometimes I think their hands are tied though.

Pros

I am able to run payroll faster. Love APS Hire and the onboarding of new employees.

Cons

I find that it is behind the norm for this type of service. Help center needs revamped for looking up (not the employees), and need to allow video uploads for new hires. Think outside the box on processing payroll, not everyone does it the same.

Reason for choosing APS Payroll

At the time pricing and I thought it clicked all of our boxes. I do however, feel that the sales person misrepresented what the software can do.

I hvae been utilizing APS online payroll processing as well as datavault storage for important employment records for a few years now. They are a very efficient, well run organization witha great software platform.

Pros

Easy to use, takes you step by step through the process. Very simple to train new employees in payroll prep. Self service platform for employees is terriffic also.

I’ve been a customer with APS since 2009 with at least 5 different business as a General Manager and recommend them to all the businesses I work with.

Pros

Your representatives really look out for you. If they see something out of the ordinary, they call! Very responsive to questions and needs!

Cons

Can’t think of a thing! The interface is easy to use and figure out.

APS was recommended to me from another company, I was a little skeptical to try it, but I am very glad we did. We have had great customer service from day one! The program was easy to learn.

Pros

The ability to adapt to our specific time needs. Also the ability to have multiple users according to specific pay groups. Reporting is also very user friendly.

Cons

The only con we have is remembering to refresh the screen often. Printing some reports are also a little difficult with Windows 10, but it seems they are always working on trying to improve the printing.

Pros

Like other APS softwares, this also helps when it comes to managing over 200 employees and keeping track of their accruals and benefits.

Cons

Saving some default settings would make things a lot easier when I sign back in. Overall, I really can't complain when it comes to APS.

Payroll systems have gotten increasingly complex - with new features, reporting requirements, documentation, etc. It is nice to have a payroll processing partner that allows a broker interface. We couldn't handle open enrollment and benefits administration without our broker working directly with our payroll company.

Pros

Intuitive design and easy to customize. Good value.

Cons

Functions required of administrators is increasingly complex.

I really like the service. Efficient and good sense of humor while "getting the job done". Would like to see more app functionality as I still have issues with being able to fill out hours online. I have to click out and go back in but this requires me adding a few things over which is aggravating.

Recurring issue. Would like more app options to streamline use and bypass "cookie" issues etc.

Difficult reporting functionality. Over all navigation is difficult. Customer report building could be more user friendly.
