### "Great customer service!"

Pros

The customer services is great! The setup process was easy and very professional. We left our other payroll service because they messed up our taxes and it was a nightmare to get it fixed. I'm confident that won't happen with APS, both because they set everything up correctly and because they are super responsive.

Cons

The interface is a little clunky, it's less slick than our previous provider's dashboard. Although it doesn't really impact the functionality at all.

We switched our 80 employee weekly payroll to APS in January 2016. Out of 4 payrolls run they committed serious errors and omissions of details to us causing failed direct deposits, check numbers starting at 100 and uncashable at many paycheck cashing services, as well an a long list of more minor errors and overcharges. They refused to pay for the errors or refund the over $2000 we paid for implrmentation. This made January the highest cost payroll month in our 32 year history with more total errors in one month than in the prior ten years.

Cons

there are times that the portal doesn't work currently. I wish things were easier for example little pop ups to help you through the website.

Overall we found APS to be a great product and the support we received was phenomenal. It was so easy to use and our representatives at APS really made us feel like valued customers.

Pros

I loved the out-of-the-box ease of use of this software. Without a great deal of training I was able to jump right in and utilize the product.

Cons

We had an unusually long implementation time. While partly our fault, it did take almost two months to setup. But it was worth it.

Pros

We used to do our payroll in house. We utilized a web-based time and attendance system that integrated with QuickBooks. Direct deposits were handled through a web portal to our bank. Doing payroll every other week with the old system took as much as a few hours each time. With APS payroll can be completed in as little as 10 minutes. It is a huge time saver for us.

Cons

There really is nothing to dislike. There was a learning curve of course but that would be true of any program.

The only difficulties I face is dealing with the reports. Sometimes I run into trouble finding the report I need.

Overall this is a pretty decent payroll platform that is definitely one of the better of the many I’ve used over the years.

Cons

Pros

This software has made report generating a snap. And sending emails has never been so easy. It now takes our Bookkeeper less than a third of the time to process payroll and W-2s. And I love the Events notifications.

Cons

There are no dislikes, however I wished they would add more HR features in the future.

I do not have any cons on the web version of the site. As for the phone application it can be difficult to link at first.

My client was able to use APS to manage both independent contractors as well as employees on direct deposit.

Cons

I felt that it was more than he needed for his small company but it did not create any problems for his payroll needs. Sometimes it was hard to locate the reports I needed for review.

Coming from an over complicated payroll software, APS feels like just the right fit. There are ample features that are easy to use. Most features are easy to figure out without the need to call support, however when you do need to call, they are great with providing personalized training and support for your needs.

Pros

Easy to use and learn without the need to constantly call support. The features make it possible to reduce administrative time when doing simple tasks like adding new hires to payroll.

Cons

I have had issues getting timely responses back from support. With a dedicated rep there are times when they are not available and there isn't an option to talk with someone else to get the issue resolved.

APS is a great company . Anytime I had a question about an employee, or making changes , there is always someone available to help . The support is great. The system for payroll is very user friendly . Need something changed you can. Just create your ticket , it is answered in a timely fashion , same day fix. I would highly recommend APS for your payroll service, great company and friendly people. I've used APS in the past years, this company has shown up, and grew tremendously offering better and better products to serve us the customer. Thanks APS for being here,super company.

I like the time clock feature and I think the price is reasonable. My complaints and issues would be the way APS exports to Quickbooks, and I also think the training could go into a little more detailed. Customer service has been very helpful and nice.
