### "My experience with APS - Small Business"

I appreciate the quick replies to any of my questions

Cons

I spend way too much time going over everything with a fine tooth comb to be sure things are accurate. Still after many months, there are on-going issues with how things are set up etc. It defeats the purpose of "saving time, saving money" when I cannot count on things being correct. Many of the functions do not quite work how I would expect them to. I have had to go back to support multiple times on different issues and many of the same issues (the biggest frustration) to correct things. My customer support has gotten better but initially it was clear the person I was set up with never took the time to actually read my emails.

Pros

The staff has been a tremendous help with the implementation and any little bumps in the road we have had. The product itself has been very user-friendly. Our Administrative Services Staff was trained and we have had great success in training the other 450 staff with not a lot of problems.

Cons

The only thing we have experienced a problem with has been the mobile app. Throughout the county we have a variety of different brands of cell phone devices. It works better with some of the brands than others.

Pros

For the most part very easy to use. Good value for the cost and support provided is well above average.

Cons

Some functions do not work as smoothly as hoped (ATS in particular and some of the Reporting). Have to remember additional steps versus some "auto functions".

I hated doing payroll and spent way too much time making sure all the rules were followed. I thought it would be too expensive to have a company do it for such a small business. APS showed me how it could save me so much time and worry that it was a " no brainer" to have them do it. Set up was simple and painless. It now takes me about 5 minutes to do what used to take me hours. The record keeping and end of the year forms service is awesome. Couldn't be happier.

Pros

The ease of use, ability to edit and the multiple checks that are there to stop mistakes from happening before submitting a payroll.

Cons

The fact that the refresh button is the only way to guarantee a change has been made.

Having a QBO interface is available. It would be great if it could be automated as a result of the completion of the payroll run instead of having to push / pull it after completion.

We have worked with several different payroll companies in the past and were always looking for something that was less complicated. APS works great. The site and lay out is simple to use and easy to navigate. Being able to direct import our payroll information and review it makes completing payroll simple and less time consuming. We still have all of the other information and reports provided from other companies, but with out the head ache.

Pros

I like the ease of the software. Each tab is presented in a way that things are easy to find. The process of onboarding a new hire is extremely simple. I also like that when we have a problem that is significant, the support team is quick to respond.

Cons

My team likes to be able to look out into future dates and see how much time they will have accrued if they don't use any before that date. It is a function they are missing now that we have APS. I also wish I didn't have to completely close jobs that I don't need right now, but that I will need later. An on hold function for companies that hire for the same positions would be extremely helpful.

The one on one customer service is one of the main reasons our company switched after being with the former PR system for 15 years. The CSR are eager to help and are quick to respond to your needs. The software is user friendly not only from an administrator side but from the employee side. Our employees love the eselfserve so they can review all items in their own user profile. I highly recommend APS for your payroll needs.

APS is very user friendly. The software is easy to navigate. I really like that there are on-boarding features from the application process - through hiring and benefits enrollment. APS keeps current on compliance issues and keeps us updated. There are also a lot of good tables and charts with great information to help you manage your business, your payroll expense, keep compliant and more! The staff is very approachable and knowledgeable!

Very good system. Sometimes hard to get ahold of someone to help us with things, as we're new with this system. Have had some problems with exporting into Quickbooks. Other than that, we love the ease of use and the functionality of the APS payroll system

The APS software is so user-friendly. One of my favorite features that has saved me time is being able to edit batches directly in the software. The APS employees have all been very helpful and customer-oriented.

Cons

Most of the reports that I need, I've been able to locate. For the others, I've been able to find something comparable. This is not so much an issue with the product as it is more with "teaching an old dog new tricks."

The mobile website could use some work. I would like to stay logged in, but whenever I do the screen stays blank. I would actually really like to have an app to log in and use my tough ID as my password. I do like the time card set up, that part of the website is nice. I also like how the scheduled time off shows up on my home screen. The accrual balance for my vacation is confusing though. I would like the accrual to show up on the first of the month, since we are supposed to get them on the first of the month, not in the middle of the month.

I use APS weekly for 55 employees and then biweekly for 140 employees. It's a very easy to use program. The customer service is outstanding. Our account representative is always very helpful and knowledgeable about any questions I may have. If she is not available when I need her I always have someone to talk to immediately that is able to help me with any need I may have. Overall, the experience is very enjoyable.

We went through many payroll companies before switching to APS. I love the performance reviews, the PTO request portal, and how easy it is to log in and navigate for our managers and reps. There are times when I get some weird errors... but customer support is usually quick to help.
