" January 17, 2018 2.0 Pros It fulfills the basic needs for LIS integration. Interfaces are available for most common analyzers. Cons Sunquest is very basic with a user unfriendly interface which is not intuitive at all. Of the LIS solutions I have used in the past, Sunquest easily required the most training for users. There is also little ability to add flexibility into the software. As a result, we utilized third party middleware to add the horsepower we needed to manage chemistry and hematology results effectively. While the middleware did make Sunquest useable, its disappointing to have to rely on a third party solution which effectively bypasses Sunquest's functionality for anything other than a data passthrough. Lets not forget the two "sides" to Sunquest. There is a text based command line side and a graphical interface (often referred to as Mysis). Certain functionalities are only found on one side with switching between the two common daily practice. Review Source RA Rosario A. Cons Nothing major comes to mind that I dislike about this software. Possibly building in interactive tutorials for learning. It is the way we pull our orders, and enter all of our results Pros This program is very user friendly. It is easy to move from screen to screen. The pictures on each screen make it easy to know which tab to choose Cons Not sure if it our computers or the program, but it tends to freeze up alot. The newest update changed somethings for the worse. The urine tab, you used to be able to scan and start typing. Now you have physically click on it with the mouse and then go from there. Cons It was difficult to look up patient history and it was very basic. The software needed a major update.
