Not the best overall. There have been a few people who have helped me, and they were there when I needed them, and that was great.

Pros

I would have to say the best thing is that their reporting is easy to read. And there are many ways to see the reports

Cons

The time it takes to get a video when you make a request for one. I have waited as long as 16 hours to get a video back when I need to see what someone is doing. I wish I could get a live view of where my trucks are at

### "Efficient and Useful GPS Tracking System"

Overall, my experience with GPS Insight has been positive. It provides useful tracking and reporting tools that help improve oversight and efficiency.

Pros

The real time tracking and reporting features. It made it easy to monitor vehicle locations, review routes, and improve overall efficiency.

Cons

The system could be a bit difficult to navigate at times, especially when trying to locate certain reports or features.

Overall experience with GPS Insight has been very good. Bugs and other issues are fixed quickly. The system makes it simple to track our vehicles.

Pros

The products work well for our ELD and Transportation needs. Keeping track of HOS is simple. Navigating the dashboard is effortless.

Cons

I have no complaints. Communication with Tech Support and Installers is a breeze. Setting up our installs was hassle free.

The tracking/Map is great tool; noticing the speed of our vehicles and where they are. The vehicle setup is easy and makes other tasks easier. Looking into the cameras and looking ahead to the contract renewal.

Pros

Great Customer Service, contact is great

Cons

Cost of maintaining the ELD. Logs are difficult to deal with; on the backside. Miss the laptop version where the operators could update logs on a laptop and not ELD

### "Fleet tracking done nearly right"

Having moved as part of the end Rhino Fleet Tracking, we had a rocky start until all the old gps units were replaced. The new units provide more features than Rhino ever did. Overall a good improvement.

Pros

The level of detail in reports is outstanding. Being able to run such a wide range of options makes finding a one-off incident as easy as reviewing regular reporting. The auto refresh of the live maps is a nice feature as well, added bonus to being able to find nearby vehicles.

Cons

Menu navigation is not exactly intuitive for the non technical staff using the system. The absolute worst are the chat ads popping up every time I sign in. I already pay for the service, stop pushing on the maps screen especially. Alerts do not always work, or work at the wrong time. Allowing the drivers to opt out of alert/violation messages is a fail.

### "All is Good with GPS Insight"

From our initial setup to our current usage almost 5-years later I'm extremely satisfied with my experience with GPS Insight. For those looking for a simple, effective and intuitive GPS solution, GPS Insight will fit your needs.

Pros

The client facing dashboard has everything I need and is easy to use. I have had zero issues with GPS accuracy. Even switching GPS units to new vehicles is a relatively painless process.

Cons

My only gripe is the consistent calls asking me to upgrade to video recording. It's just not something I'm interested in. From a product standpoint, I have no issues.

### "2024 Overview"

Overall, GPS Insight has met all of our company's needs! We were able to set up an onboarding training to introduce the product to our managers, directors and inspectors with no issues. We were also able to set up an in-depth training with a few of our managers who would be using the application more than others. The GPS Insight support team has been pretty helpful! The email responses have been slow, but the chat feature can be helpful in a pinch. Our new POC \[sensitive content hidden\] has been very responsive and helpful whenever there has been an issue or questions that we've needed answered. He is very friendly and super easy to work with. Excellent job!

Pros

The ease of being able to use the product. Very User friendly and direct!

Cons

The report function still seems to have some glitches as I've submitted a couple tickets regarding issues with pulling reports. (Ex: all vehicles was not populating ALL vehicles so had to go in individually to pull each report)

Being able to add in multiple users so they are able to pull their own mileage reports was big for this switch. I also believe pricing was involved.

Pros

It integrates with our business system. Live phone support. Product is installed with a plug and play harness for future camera capability. Unit is small and easily hidden.

Cons

Having to have hard reset performed to many units at our expense. No ability to set in cab warnings without going through customer service.

Overall it has been very good but as a reseller, we don't get any breaks in pricing when other companies with work with us, especially on bigger deals.

Pros

Reliability of devices, great tech support and troubleshooting.

Cons

Pricing. Just not competive. Also no reasonable priced camera.

Overall, this system is great. Very easy to use and it can really help your company grow.

Pros

GPS Insight is very easy to use. When we first began using it, I did have to reach out to customer service for some help and they were so well versed on the ins and outs of this system.

Cons

Depending on location, the live updates seem to stall sometimes but it normally clears up after a minute or so.

The people I talked to are really Polite and go over and beyond

Pros

The great response when I need help. Everyone I talked to will go over everything to make sure I understand and if that does not work they get me to the right person

Cons

Not really anything. I guess if there was one thing is the app would be better to do updates and check my maintenance. Also now that I think about it, wish on alerts would be better when drivers just move there vehicles I would not be notified just when they get to there destination and the address would tell us they are there for maintenance issues at the apartments

once you're in the system, you can access the sections really easy.

Pros

The system is very user friendly. The reports and alerts make my job much easier.

Cons

The new ELD system is not as good as the old one. From an admin side the system is hard to use. It is not user friendly. It is missing a lot of things that i used daily with the old system. The fact that GPS Insight and the ELD system are not linked with the ability to alert me with driver hours and emails for issues found during a pretrip is an issue. The drivers do not have a web portal that they can use for on duty not driving hours or to make sure that the system has logged them out correctly. i have had drivers not get logged out correctly and have been stuck in on duty not driving for an entire night. They have come in the next morning and logged out and called me to correct the issue. the system will only allow me to put them in sleeper berth not off duty. it gives you an error that you cant have the same status back to back. This is technically falsifying a log. The new system is bare bones and needs work

It was simple to install and the online site was very basic

It was not ready for departments and cost centers it was not easy to setup the manager and location logins.

I would NOT recommend GPS Insight to anyone for many reasons. First and foremost, the lack of communication with their customers is unbelievable. I call and call, but I cannot speak to a representative. I leave a voicemail and pray for a return call that may or may not come. Forget about email. If I get an email response within a week, I consider that a “win.” Second, I’ve been trying since August to resolve issues with equipment. This is December. When I was told I had to pay to replace units that went out due to technological failure on the part of GPS Insight, I knew it was time to find coverage elsewhere. Third, canceling service with this company is a nightmare. I am thankful that I DOCUMENT EVERYTHING. I continue to receive invoices for rental units I returned AND they (acknowledged they) received 2 months ago. I sent shipping tracking numbers 4 TIMES to ensure they didn’t charge my card (on file) for units I returned. However, they did charge my card (on file) for units I returned. After I reported fraud to my bank, they finally refunded those charges last month. Today, I received yet another invoice for the units I returned to GPS Insight 2 months ago. I find this entire situation extremely frustrating and just plain sad. Initially, the service from GPS Insight was great. In fact, I was a customer for nearly 5 years. However, I have discovered there are many companies with much better customer service. Do yourself a favor and use one of them instead of GPS Insight, un

When the units were working, we used it solely for tracking GPS in our trucks.

Cons

Poor customer service, no communication, they expect you to pay to replace their units that are broke, fraudulent charges on cards (on file) after units have been returned.
