### "ezyVet allowed our clinic to grow!"

Overall our experience with ezyVet has been amazing. It was the best decision we made overall to expand our practice, profits, and ability to practice better medicine!

Pros

The thing I like the most about this software is the ability to edit most anything you need to fit your practice needs. For example when adding an appointment to the schedule, you can set up the appointment to start billing for that type of exam. Traditionally, when a Technician or Assistant loads an exam room and takes history, this software allows you to create "Clinical Templates" that you can name for example; Canine Annual, Limping, ADR, HBC, Vomiting, Diarrhea, etc. This allows the tech to select the correct template to ask the question that the doctor wants to know. This minimizes missed information when taking a history and also allows you to practice better medicine by making suggestions to the pet owner. Our canine annual exam is set up to ask all the questions you typically would ask but adds in things like "Would you like to vaccinate for Lyme today" and "Did you know that 1 in 9 Adults have some abnormality in their annual screening labwork results?" Adding these questions increased our compliance tremendously! We used to only sale about one tray (25) of lyme vaccines a year before ezyVet. Now we are rolling through that in a month easily!!! This is the same for FELV, Lepto and annual screening panels.

Cons

The only thing that really isn't so easy to use for us is the reminder card system. It took us a while to understand how to set them up to generate correctly. The true downside is I have to print them out and mail the post cards myself daily. No one has integrated yet to do your postcards for reminders. This isn't a big deal in the grand scheme of things. As a side note the software does allow you to easily email reminders but our client base really likes the post card method. Also, occasionally ezyVet has to merge servers and the software will be unusable for about 10 minuets while this occurs.

Outstanding and I mean really outstanding. Customer service? Perfect. Have a question just call and some really nice people anwer all your questions. This program has so many fetures it is impossible to sum it all up in one paragraph.

Pros

Trying to pin down a simple answer to what I like most is hard to do. The program has so many perfect fetures. Scedulining is great but so is tracking product usage. Individual record are layed out clear and understandable. Impossible for me to pick one, but intergations could have the lead. Payjuction, Idexx referance Lab, Blue Rabbit all provide excellent intergration and service.

Cons

Printing documents at the end of an appointment. One page for the payment, one for rabies certificate, one for vaccine records and finally the summery. This could definitly be simplified.

### "Way too many steps and options to be efficient without customization/learning curve"

Frustrating. There is seemingly no way to create estimates for clients that can then be digitally transferred into a later invoice. Once estimates are created, we have to manually recreate them on the invoice which creates more work and opportunity for error. My hospital also has an excessive list of bloodwork options, most of which are rarely used, making it EXTREMELY cumbersome to find the right labwork for a patient at a reasonable price. There are also way too many steps to get something done. Part of this is because my hospital never provided any sort of training or standardized sop for use -there may be more efficient ways to use- but if you are a relief person or new user trying to navigate it without any instruction or I guess if it hasn't been customized for the practice flow, it is a nightmare.

Pros

It has a lot of fuctionality options which likely could be useful if setup correctly. There seem to be many ways for creating customizable templates. .

Cons

Without extensive individual customization to streamline use and options, it is very clunky and inefficient, not intuitive. I get lost between the various tabs. It is hard to scroll through a patient's record if you are not on the right tabs.This creates a distraction that interferes with client interaction.

### "Ezyvet has grown with our practice."

We have been with ezyvet for approximately 8-10 years and it has continued to improve and grown with our practice. I am still learning new features & it has evolved a lot since the beginning. Inventory tracking has improved tremendously with the ability to track inventory in the hospital and all truck locations.

Pros

Cloud Based- so we can access records from all of our devices. It has grown with our practice, and they continue to make improvements.

Cons

Would like to be able to apply a vaccine or product to an entire barn of horses at one time.

Reason for choosing ezyVet

We used Advantage Equine before and loved it but hated synching and we out grew its capabilities. The ability for it to continue to grow with us made us try ezyvet. Switching PIMS is a huge undertaking for a practice and we hope to never have to do it again. We worked directly with Hadleigh- the company president at the time. Implementation was difficult back then, but that was many years ago.

Excellent service, support, ease of use. Our staff rarely complains about our PIMS now that we've switched.

Pros

I love that ezyVet is cloud-based and I absolutely love all the integrations that ezyVet has, such as all Idexx labs, radiology, and ultrasound. We are a 24-hour emergency clinic and there is absolutely no down time with ezyVet, which is a must! ezyVet also works very well with VetRadar, which we use for both our hospitalized and surgery patients. Helps a ton with capturing all charges. We have loved ezyVet since we switch a few years ago. Support is great too! Highly recommend!

Cons

Still would like to have a little more customization with statements and receipts, and some reporting, but most everything we need it to do, ezyVet can make it happen.

Overall Ezyvet is an excellent PMS that allows us to look after our patients and clients in a fully integrated manner. It makes out life much easier. It takes a bit of work to set it up - but when set up Ezyvet is very useful. The support staff are very good at helping when needed.

Pros

Ezyvet is a fully comprehensive practice management system - running all aspects of the vet hospital from appointments to integrated ordering with wholesalers, two-way diagnostic integration, automated reminders, Xero integration AND it is continually updated and improved.

Cons

Ezyvet is a little complicated to get started. Once you get your head around it, is it a really useful PMS.

Overall very pleased with the system. Other than the scheduling issue stated above I have very little complaints about Ezyvet.

Pros

It's user friendly, intuitive, and includes lots of features that other EHR's do not.

Cons

Rescheduling appointments with Ezyvet is a bit of a pain. It would be great to have a similar feature like Cornerstone has, where you can right click on an appointment, select "reschedule", then click on the day/time you want to reschedule to. Almost like a copy/paste function. Additionally, Cornerstone will alert you if you click on an appointment time when another user is actively scheduling an appointment during that block which helps prevent double booking between users.

I enrolled in EzyVet in 2019 when I started my practice from scratch. There has been a growing number of integrations and improvements along the way which have added to EzyVet's functionality. My team is comfortable with Ezyvet. I have no regrets about starting out with Ezyvet whatsoever.

Pros

I love both the flexibility compared to older clunkier PIMS like Cornerstone and Avimark and the security of having a cloud-based practice management software program.

Cons

There currently neither AI features nor voice technology included with Ezyvet. While these are currently already available within a few of the competing PIMs products on the market now, I have heard that these features are in the works for Ezyvet too, and am looking forward to their addition!

My overall experience with ezyVet is very user friendly, easy to access and efficient! It has a great security for clients on payments made by them and it is also a great software for patient records and history.

Pros

What I like most about ezyVet is the convenience of patient management. It helps our customer support receptionist to easily assist clients and patients with scheduling and rescheduling new and excising clients!

Cons

What I like least about ezyVet is that its not used in every hospital! There is also one more thing that could help ezyVet be a bit more easier like a "both" option when it comes to emailing or printing a receipt as some clients do prefer both!

Very good. Fairly intuitive, however quickly scanning through records can be a bit cumbersome.

Pros

That it is cloud-based, and you can submit tickets to have the software modified. Also being ablento have multiple patient tabs open at once.

Cons

Scanning through the history is cumbersome, I often want to see SOAPs and meds, but the views get cluttered with invoicing, communications, etc.

### "The Best Veterinary Software System Out There"

Overall I am impressed with this software since most Veterinary systems are geared toward general practice but EzyVet is able to customize for the use in the specialty environments. After a couple of weeks of staff training we went live and with very little issue and this factor alone was amazing compared to what we had gone through with a prior system change.

Pros

1st Support - Quick response time to any inquiry or help with fixes. 2nd Customizable - Easy to set-up 3nd Ease of use - The only system that does work for Veterinary specialty hospitals

Cons

1st - The document templates can be touchy and can be difficult to make documents look professional. Would prefer a more Word style system 2nd - The inability to set a minimum price for products

I have had great experience with Ezyvet. When it is working it is excellent, when we find a glitch it works well.

Pros

The colourful dashboard and ability to build the consulting schedule from the back end makes mixed practice easier. I can programme my vet time more efficiently because of the structures ezyvet delivers.

Cons

I least like the inability to access some statistics easily, it can get quite complex trying to get the data i need out for practice management

We are 24 hours and at times have had issues connecting with support to resolve issues but I believe they are still growing this team and it has been avalible 95% of the time when needed.

As we continue to grow moving forward, ezyVet seems to be able to grow with us and meet our needs. There is not perfect system out there but for us, it was a clear choice ezyVet could help meet our needs then and now. EzyVet seems to continually be improving and produces changes based on client suggestions and needs.

Pros

We love the memo system as we can communicate with all of our staff or beak it down in groups. The system is pretty much customizable to most of our needs and our growth pattern. Integrated inventory system is very helpful as well. Once you are fully integrated and you understand the system, you should be able to see how it will benefit your practices needs. It takes a team to get this implemented and up and running but once you are there it's good.

Cons

Integration was lengthy to prepare for but it gets your organized. The time delay is something that bothers us. When we read memo's, it take a long time to load it and then move on to the next one. We have great wifi throughout our clinic but seems to affect all computers this way.Memos that we send and deleted memos - we wish you could either put them in specific folders to search for them or at least group them all together by senders name.

### "Perfect Choice For Start-Up Small Animal Practice"

We had a lot of kinks to work out in our start-up vet practice, as you might imagine, and although I had some minimal prior experience with Ezyvet and has been working for weeks to set up our practice on it... there were too many problems to count initially and that made me glad we did NOT go with PayJunction Their integrated merchant processor, or we would Have had a lot of invoices we could not have easily gotten paid for at time client and patient were ready to leave! That said.... now. A year later it would be fine. I do love the program now that I am feeling more confident using it, we literally discover new things we can do on it or ways of doing things differently every week. If I had to choose a practice management software again, I would still choose EzyVet.

Pros

\- Amount of personalization that could be done - Removal of redundancy for invoicing - no missed charges as items in record go to invoice directly - Cloud based - safe from ransomware - integrations available for test requests and results - online client booking - texting and emailing client from in program - Great tech support at all hours - thorough training during program set up

Cons

\- Newness means a lot of other programs don’t integrate with it, yeT (and May net ever) Lots of difficulty getting systems integrated Initially, but once they were, they worked well - Costs per text through program Adds up fast - Training videos went too fast for staff to easily follow during training of new employees - Fact that programs like Smart Flow work with EzyVet, but are not part of it so have separate monthly fees. We are a small practice and can see value in Smart Glow, but due to small practice so ze, it is not worth the additional expense. -

The calendar, scheduling, internal memos, Dashboard features, clinical layout make each staff members workflow efficient and easy to trace so other staff members can follow up and assure all tasks and patient care is completed

The records and financial data are sometimes difficult to get. Not as streamlined as I would like

### "Best software for automating your practice!"

Having the ability to manage client communication, recordkeeping, referring veterinarian communication, invoicing and practice managment all in an easy to use program has been critical to the function of my practice. Adding staff at some point may be an additional help but using ezyVet gives me the piece of mind and ability to run my business while offering the work/life balance that I need maintain my practice.

Pros

The best part of ezyVet is how customizable it is to support your unique practice concerns. I am a solo practitioner and recently changed to a specialty practice specific to veterinary rehab, chiropractic, pain management and sports medicine. Given that my new pursuits do not require staffing to complete most of my visits, the use of ezyvet has allowed me to automate almost all of my front desk duties as well as administrative tasks such as practice accounting, end of day, marketing and client communication. My practice is also partly mobile, so the ability to be cloud based and take my system anywhere on any device has been critical to my function.

Cons

The onboarding was a little challenging to coordinate due to my specific schedule but most of it was self guided and reasonable to work through. The image annotations are not currently included in a medical history print out which would be a welcome update for my type of practice. The few glitches that I have encountered have been more to do with the specific task not being configured correctly and were quickly found and fixed through a support ticket.

Overall, ezyVet was a great decision for the practice. It makes sense both medically and financially for the practice. It has increased accuracy and efficiency on both the medical and financial side of things. We are very happy we decided to switch to ezyVet for our PIMS.

Pros

Overall, ezyVet is a well named software program. It is user friendly and has made our team much more efficient. Medical records are more throrough, we don't miss charges, and communication between departments is better. The templates make a world of difference. Using templates allows us to ensure our team is consistent with the information they are getting and giving. They have also expedited the process by creating habits. We have been able to increase our capacity to see animals both in appointments and surgeries as a results of increased efficiency.

Cons

As stated previously, the scheduling can be a little difficult as you can accidentally schedule the same slot as someone else and you can't easily schedule from the patient's page. Vet Radar was a difficult transition from paper treatment sheets. It regularly improves, but still leaves some things to be desired.

Reason for choosing ezyVet

ezyVet seemed to align the most with what we were looking for in a software system. We are a 6 doctor practice. We need a robust system that can handle multiple docotors and several staff members.

Tabs, so many tabs! We don't utilize a lot of it because it's not relevant to our set up, so there's a lot of unnecessary parts that confuse new staff.

Cons

I cannot make the exact exam template that I want. I would like check boxes to use.

I love Ezyvet and share my thoughts with other colleagues at additional workplaces.

Pros

I love the ease of use and the ability to search up a record via multiple pieces of information, ie phone number, email address etc. I love the payment integration which allows for less mistakes as opposed to manual entry.

Cons

The only downside is I'd love if estimates could automatically be coverting into invoices rather than needing to rebill entirely.

Overall our experience with Ezyvet has been great. We are very happy with our decision.

Pros

I personally like how user-friendly and customizable it is. We are a small specialty practice that has been able to make the most out of the software to work well for us. It has been extremely easy to learn and train new staff to use. We have a variety of age groups and tech-savvy individuals in our practice and everyone has been able to pick it up quickly.

Cons

The most difficult part are the updates that happen overnight, and are not prepared for a different workflow. This happens rarely that a workflow is affected, but it always hits on those days where something is not going right. I always look ahead at updates to come, so we are often prepared for what may be different. It would just be nice to have a heads up on the date that the update will be happening. Our integration was intense. We started out with a difficult situation being a small business within another facility that previous shared a software system, so we needed to pull things out from that software and transfer over. However while it was difficult support was with us every step of the way, and helped have everything ready to go live.

Its features, and ease of use.
