With proper training from someone it may be more helpful to make the experience even better with future use. Pros The thing I like most about Certify is the reports that you can do and upload your receipts to match your expenses from your credit card. Cons The least thing I like about this software is trying to split costs from one receipt can be tricky and not work sometimes. However, most of the time it works. This software isn't as user friendly as it seems and can take a lot of time to do what you need to do for reports within a company. Then on a specified day of the month, Certify creates an expense report and automatically uploads the receipts and charges you have. It also links the matching receipts and charges. Then it is a simple one click approval process to send the report on for approval. Pros It is very easy to track purchases. Use your smartphone to take pictures of receipts that can be easily linked to credit card expenses or personal expense reports. Cons Entering mileage isn't intuitive but can be figured out. The interfaces of both the desktop and mobile application are very user friendly and great to use for both the back-end and front-end employees. It quickly processes the reports at ease, due to its integration with QuickBooks. Great workflow and expense management system is offered. Incredible exporting features. They ensure very responsive customer service. Any edits made via mobile device is automatically synchronized. Cons Errors occur while you import the documents to your mail. Autofill columns require improvement. Credit card payments for current assets is absent. The application is not an apt one for huge businesses. Absence of more customizable reporting capabilities. At times you get confused with the huge set of options provided so a better display of information is advisable. Pros By my previous employer we used Certify Expense to manage the travel expenses of all the employees. A easy and clear software to use. Cons Nothing at all. I use it both on my phone and on a PC, the sync is simple and the expense reports are super easy to submit. I love the AUTO FILL option when entering receipts from my phone camera, and the details captured are most often accurate. Cons I haven't found anything that is missing, I've loved it. Cons I submitted multiple receipts so it was sometimes problematic to see all those at once. Eventually i came to know how to use it but was not intuitive. Right from $1 to no limit, am able to manage it all with mere couple of clicks. Pros We travel a lot as family. We stop at multiple points, shop at multiple points and spend at multiple points. Travelling expenses and keeping track of them were becoming a huge concerns where we traveled for more than 5 weeks in a row. We had to had a tool which could help us with that. We use the mobile platform for the software to track the expenses. A simple pic of the receipt of material, tag it with location, add a small description and boom...you are all set for next stop.I like where we were able to tag the receipt with quick note Cons Some time the geo tagging of the picture that comes when you update a receipt is off by some meters. Like if you go on a strip mall and you go to multiple shops it becomes difficult to bifurcate the pics. May be I am learning the software and the software already has it. Cons I don't like that the program does not "remember" names and titles of people you have already entered. Pros It is quick & easy and seems to work well with all of the different browsers that I use. Cons Some of the usability issues: - I find it sometimes confusing with the distinction between "I paid for this" and "the company paid for this". Sometimes, I'm just not certain which category it should go in. - We have a long list of expense categories at PB. It would be nice if the list could be more searchable and filtered to find what you are looking for more easily. - I find it is hard to clear old receipts. I don't need receipts from 3 years ago.
