Pros Used to complete my expense reports by filling out a form and mailing in physical reciepts from traveling. Now with Certify, you just take a picture and the software will fill out the rest. Creating an expense report is now so easy and there is no need to hold on to physical copies of reciepts on a picture is taken and uploaded onto the platform. Cons The only issues with the software is that the auto-fill feature does not always work well, so have to make sure and double check all information is correct. Review Source Michelle B. It has eliminated paperwork that I previously had to file. It has also eliminated foot work to get approvals for expenditures. Pros It is simple and easy to use. you can upload your receipts right to you phone for your expenses. It is super easy to use and everything is pretty much categorized for a quick easy submit. i love how it keeps track and lets me know who has reviewed my claims and where they stand. it super easy to correct something if you submitted the wrong information. No more scrambling around at the end of the month to find receipts, just upload them by snapping a photo on my smartphone and it uploads - LOVE IT!!! Cons I am really having a struggle trying to find any cons for this system, once I logged in and figured out how to navigate it, I have nothing but kind words for this system. Pros Coming from a hard reciept expense method, Certify is a great way to digitally submit and keep track of all business expenses. Take a picture of the reciept and the program will autofill the date, amount, ect quickly and easily. Allowing the receipt upload also ensures accuracy and quick turn around. Pros I love the app and the ability to scan receipts while I am on the go rather than saving for the end of a trip or month. Cons The fact that even thought I do the auto fill on my phone and correct any errors it always has a red triangle when I open the program on my laptop that I need to click on before it will submit even though again there is no errors. I especially like the auto import from company credit cards so you don't have to do manual data entry. Cons Initially it can take some time to set up and implement correctly and I had a hard time reaching customer support during this time but since then everything has been great. It was very easy to learn how to use. I love all of the training videos. I watched them all in the beginning and then have referred back to them as needed. I love using this software. It has made my job so much easier! Pros I like that I can link my company credit card to this software so all of my charges show up and I match them up with my receipts. It helps me make sure I don't miss any charges. It is also very easy to add receipts and there are so many options to do it. I also love that I can make different 'groups' for departments. I buy meals for the same groups of people every month so I don't have to enter their names every time. Cons I often need to enter mileage for reimbursement and I have not been able to figure out how to enter it until after my monthly report is created. Since implementation we have not had one late report. The sales staff had a little learning curve, but now seem very pleased. Pros integration was easy with guided support. The customer support is the best feature of certify. Any questions or concerns are always answered quickly. We have only been on Certify 4 months, but our sales staff seem pleased with the ease of use. Also downloading the monthly detail for our record retention is a great feature. Cons Biggest con is that we use Capital One Spark cards that cannot be downloaded to software.
