I used it to help upload documents for my accounting team to reimburse. It's super easy to operate and I was able to send out what I needed promptly.

Pros

It was very simple to use. Nothing complicated and I didn't have to go through a maze of papers to get what I needed done.

Cons

Nothing to be frank. It was easy to use once you get the hang of it.

We switched to Certify fairly recently from another system. Immediately I could tell this system was a lot different. It took a lot of the work out of entering in expense data from receipts itself. Just upload the receipt and attach it to a report. This is it's the best feature. The only complaint is that some of the features aren't intuitive. For instance trying to add a receipt to an expense report that has more than 1 page. The system only lets you add 1 page per expense line item. I'm not 100% how to get around that. Splitting an expense between two reports took a bit of work. It could be my lack of understanding but it shouldn't take a lot of understanding to complete an expense report. These items do not come up often so overall I'm impressed with the new Certify system. The time savings far outweigh anything I mentioned above.

I really enjoy the Ease of use of this app. I can take a photo of my receipts and know that they will be waiting for me when I open the desktop version to complete the report.

Cons

I wish there was a photo detection feature that automatically detects the borders of the receipt and only captures the receipt.

Quick and pain-free expense report solution.

Pros

I used this for a couple work trips and it was extremely easy to utilize. You just keep track of your receipts, take some pictures of them, and then fill out a quick form regarding the business expense and add any applicable notes. I never encountered any errors or issues using this software. It was well designed for the purposes of expense reporting.

Cons

I didn't encounter anything in my limited use requirements. Expense reporting may be a daily activity for some, but this should be a great product for any type of business traveler.

I like that it was eazier to use and with out training it only took me about 5 minutes to figure it out.

Cons

we need some kind of training on this. As a manager at H&R Block we don't use it year round and we forget how to use it. So it take my time to sit and try to remember. and I am sorry if there is training I just don't know about it.

Pros

Compatibility with other devices. Ease of use on desktop computer and ease of use with my iPhone. Uploading of receipts is a breeze with several ways to upload the receipts.

Cons

The auto-fill feature on the iPhone app is not very accurate but it gets the job started for me when I'm adding receipts.

This software is very useful for being on the road an extensive amount. Am able to quickly input my receipts and get them organized for submission.

Pros

The app feature that lets me capture receipts at the time is really useful. Working through to set up expense reports is also convenient.

Cons

The bounce back and forth between forms can be a bit cumbersome - would like to see a split screen where you can be in an expense report and add info from the wallet - not just tie the receipts.

Much faster expenses reimbursement process and keeps track of the history for me, I don't have to save it somewhere else !

Pros

Love how easy it is to add receipts, and the mileage feature is quick and how it saves your locations. you only have to type them in once. I do rotation schedule and that works great for me! does not freeze like other apps I have used.

Cons

The reports creation is hard to do on the mobile app, very easy to navigate on the desktop, but not on the cell.

Tracking is made simple. You input expenses while on the road and can wait until in front of a computer to ensure accuracy and finalize your reports.

Cons

Would be nice to add some services as direct expense reporting, i.e. Uber or MTA. Not really a con, just more of an improvement opportunity.

The ease of use on the user side seemed great. Take a pic, upload and you'll never lose a receipt you may need to get something reimbursed!

The cost was a bit much for us, only because in our company we aren't traveling and expensing back so much.

I love using certify because it just streamlines the entire process and saves my data, making my repeat trips even easier to submit.

Pros

I love how easy it is to upload a picture of my receipts for reimbursement to my company. I also appreciate how it saves my locations for my mileage reimbursement as I often repeat locations. It makes doing mileage very easy with maps and the option for roundtrip or one way.

Cons

I don't know if it just the company I work for but at times it seems to take longer than other times to send in the expense report to the designated person, but again, this could be my company and not the software

Company I work for was bought by another large corporation and we have to to use Certify. For the past 8 years I have never had an issue getting expense reports in but now here comes certify. I find the purpose of this program is to make the user frustrated and confused so as to NOT expense anything. I really feel it's just a small way to get companies to deter their employees from using credit cards. This program is vague, it's asks the same question repeatedly. I mean do I have to state a reason AND a justification for parking somewhere? Add to that several of my reports have been declined, questioned, etc. And certify doesn't say when or IF an expense report has been paid. They sit there in a pending state and I'm left to wonder if it's been paid. Great system guys, did you hire a monkey to program it?
