I am 64 and at first, I panicked and was overwhelmed at having to learn yet another computer program! But I watched a couple of the great customer service tutorials and tried it out. I made a couple mistakes at first but after completing two months of expense reports, I LOVE Certify! I used to wait months for reimbursement, with Certify I get approval within hours and $$ auto deposited into the bank account within 24-hours!! I don't lose receipts and stay organized. It allows me to quickly get the money I put out reimbursed quickly. Cons Sometimes the editing is tricky and requires some attention. I have to delete an existing expense and add it to my wallet and then add it back to my next report. It would be nice if I could just edit it on the spot rather then going through my jar. Pros When this auto-fills expenses, the process for submitting receipts couldn't be easier. Cons Most of the time, the phone app isn't smart enough to fill details in correctly. October 31, 2017 4.0 Pros What I like most is that I can start an expense report, and can keep it in the DRAFT folder until I am finished gathering all of the materials I need. Working with analog expense reporting created opportunity to forget to expense certain transactions, but this keeps everything in one place. It also has required fields so I don't forget any important information. Cons I hate how much effort it takes to upload printed receipts now. I have to take a picture or scan them in, send them to myself, and upload to the software, whereas before I just had to put them into an envelope. I heard there is a Certify app, but I also heard it's not worth the download because it doesn't pair with the desktop version well at all. Pros I like that it makes tracking expenses and processing them through pretty easy. Cons I don't like that if you enter a receipt manually, before the transaction hits your wallet, you could potentially create a duplicate transaction. I also get frustrated that if you complete the required fields first then attach the receipt, it will void all the information you just inserted and you have to fill them out again. It's good to have all features in one place - the what , how much, ability to upload receipts, etc. Cons It could be more user friendly. Pros I like how I can store digital copies of my receipts along with my expense report in Certify. I don't have to go searching for lost receipts in a drawer. Keeps everything neat and organized. Cons I have had good experiences so far. I did have to upload a receipt twice on one accession because it didn't take the first time, but that's my only complaint.
