**_In this article, I’ve identified seven of the best AI sales assistant tools based on our internal category criteria for sales assistant software and verified Capterra user reviews gathered over the last two years (July 2024-July 2026)._**

As sales teams look to simplify everyday tasks such as activity logging, lead qualification, drafting follow-ups to leads, capturing calls or forecasting deals, [AI sales assistant software](https://www.capterra.com/ai-sales-assistant-software/) may offer a solution.

AI functionality is no longer a novelty for sales teams. In [Capterra’s 2026 Sales and Marketing Software Trends Survey](https://www.capterra.com/resources/sales-and-marketing-software-trends/) 67% of professionals say their software already includes AI features, which they actively use. Furthermore, 90% say they are more likely to buy software with AI features included.

However, while many tools have AI features, they won’t always fit your business use-case for an AI sales assistant precisely. To understand the landscape better, I’ve ranked and reviewed seven top-rated tools with this functionality on Capterra from verified reviews to narrow the options down and to make choosing the best solution easier.

## What are the best rated AI sales assistant tools?

| Tool | Best for | Capterra rating | Reviews analyzed |
| --- | --- | --- | --- |
| Sage Sales Management | Mobile field sales teams | 4.9 | 42 |
| SalesBlink | Best value for cold outbound | 4.7 | 80 |
| Salesforce Sales Cloud | Enterprise and scaling sales orgs | 4.6 | 581 |

## The 7 top-rated AI sales assistant tools

### 1\. Sage Sales Management: Best for mobile field sales teams

#### Trial/Free Version

- Free Trial
- Free Version

#### Device Compatibilty

[Sage Sales Management](https://www.capterra.com/p/153130/Forcemanager/) is the rebranded form of ForceManager, since its acquisition by Sage. While it stands out as the highest-rated tool on this list, a key highlight for field sales professionals is its mobile-first toolset.

Some useful features that Sage Sales Management offers here include visit planning elements such as route management, the ability to track agents from phone activity, as well as a built-in AI assistant via Sage Copilot. The assistant adds fluidity to processes by using voice data and correspondence to take notes, generate summaries and log activity information.

**Key features:**

- **Mobile field sales app:** Reps can log visits, calls and other activity through their phones, while out in the field.

- **Visit and route planning:** Planning tools allow sales reps to organize their territories and schedule in-person visits more efficiently.

- **Built-in AI assistant:** Provides extra visibility for managers over field operations and sales team activity and helps reduce admin.

**Pros:**

- Reviewers highlight the ease for sales reps to log information like visits and client activity on their phone, allowing managers to track what’s happening in the field.

- Users mention its ease of use positively, emphasizing the at-a-glance view of sales by product quantity and timeline as valuable.

**Cons:**

- Some reviews mention a lack of finer controls for logging activity such as duration of a call or visit.

- The direct focus on field sales functionality might prove too narrow for more desk-based teams.

**What a verified reviewer says:**

"Total control of the business, sales analysis of individual products, with quantities and sales timelines" (translated from Spanish)

Roberto S., Salesperson, May 2026

### 2\. SalesBlink: Best value for cold outbound sales

#### Trial/Free Version

- Free Trial
- Free Version

#### Device Compatibilty

[SalesBlink](https://www.capterra.com/p/212980/SalesBlink/) is an AI platform that helps support cold outreach by email. It offers a combination of prospecting tools alongside inbox warmup and AI-generated email sequences.

One factor that came across while analyzing the reviews was its practicality for leaner teams, or agencies running scaled outbound operations. It also offers good value for money with many reviewers seeing it as an economical solution and rating it especially high in this area (4.8 out of 5 for value for money). This makes it a good choice for smaller agencies or solopreneurs on a tighter budget.

**Key features:**

- **AI email sequencing:** SalesBlink’s BlinkGPT model creates personalized drafts for multi-step outbound campaigns.

- **Lead prospecting:** Sourcing tools identify and find contact data, allowing teams to manage and build outbound lists without using a separate tool.

- **Inbox warmup:** Automatic inbox warmup improves deliverability of cold outreach email campaigns.

**Pros:**

- Users appreciate the inclusion of prospecting, email sequences, and inbox warmup together in the same tool.

- Reviewers highlight responsive customer support from the vendor.

**Cons:**

- Some reviewers single out the user interface as a pain point, feeling it is cluttered or outdated.

- As an outbound-focused email platform, teams with multi-channel CRM pipelines or deeper customization may run into limitations.

**What a verified reviewer says:**

"SalesBlink is very easy to set up and use. I like having lead management, email campaigns, and warmup in one platform. It saves time, and the interface is clean enough to get started quickly."

### 3\. Salesforce Sales Cloud: Best for enterprise and scaling sales orgs

#### Trial/Free Version

- Free Trial
- Free Version

#### Device Compatibilty

I’ve included [Salesforce Sales Cloud](https://www.capterra.com/p/61368/Salesforce/) on this list because of its enterprise-grade features such as AI CRM, deep customization and wide integration ecosystem. This makes it a great option for scaling and larger companies with complex sales requirements.

However, despite its enterprise capacity, many of the positive reviews I’ve studied also come from smaller organizations. This suggests greater versatility even for simpler operations or those with smaller headcounts. Sales Cloud’s built-in AI is also extensive, with Einstein supporting forecasting and text drafting and Agentforce adding agentic automation.

**Key features:**

- **Einstein AI:** Salesforce’s predictive and generative AI is built into the CRM, providing lead scoring, forecasting, recommendations and drafting functionality.

- **Agentforce AI:** Agentic AI systems that use large language models (LLMs) to create automated multi-step tasks.

- **Customizability:** Sales Cloud allows for extensive customization of items like data fields and workflows as well as possessing an extensive library of possible integrations.

**Pros:**

- Reviewers see the platform’s depth as a major plus point, allowing greater control over even complex operations.

- Users highlight frequent updates and enhancements to features like Salesforce’s AI.

**Cons:**

- The customizability of Sales Cloud comes with a downside, as it can make the platform harder to learn at first according to reviewers.

- The license for Sales Cloud is expensive and many advanced features require paid add-ons.

**What a verified reviewer says:**

"Strong integration as API make it easy to connect with other tools whether it's storage analytics or ERP system."

Shubham K., GPFS Scale Engineer, Jul 2026

### 4\. monday CRM: Best for an easy, visual CRM for small teams

#### Trial/Free Version

- Free Trial
- Free Version

#### Device Compatibilty

I’ve featured [monday CRM](https://www.capterra.com/p/245800/Monday-CRM/) on this list as a top option for sales teams needing an easy-to-set-up system with a simpler interface. This interface allows teams to generate no-code graphical timelines and boards as well as automations. Users can then arrange workflows with drag and drop controls, simplifying collaboration and usability.

It also has AI tools available across all of its paid tiers, though with some usage limits. This includes a sales agent that can automate voice and SMS outreach, as well as pipeline, lead, note-taking, and meeting prep agents.

**Key features:**

- **Visual pipelines:** monday’s drag and drop interface gives users a clear view of pipelines by stage and tasks in progress.

- **No-code automations:** Teams can build rules and reminders without developer support.

- **AI agents for sales tasks:** In-built assistants for note-taking, outreach, pipeline and meeting prep help create standardized automated processes.

**Pros:**

- Users find monday CRM useful for running deals and managing work in a single, visual, system.

- Comments highlight monday’s ease of use and simplicity in onboarding and adoption.

**Cons:**

- Some reviewers comment that the system doesn’t auto-log emails as comprehensively as other CRMs, which can require manual upkeep.

- A few commenters say that some of the most useful features such as advanced automations, reporting, and dashboards are locked in higher price tiers.

**What a verified reviewer says:**

"I love that it links and works seamlessly with monday.com's work management platform, so we can very easily convert leads that are won over to project management."

Sandy E., Office Administrator, Apr 2026

### 5\. HubSpot Sales Hub: Best for aligning sales and marketing

#### Trial/Free Version

- Free Trial
- Free Version

#### Device Compatibilty

[HubSpot Sales Hub](https://www.capterra.com/p/214215/HubSpot-SalesHub/) is the sales-focused component within HubSpot’s customer platform. Where it stands out to me in particular, is its ability to comprehensively combine marketing and sales operations within the same platform. This is because it runs both on the same data allowing better inter-operability across departments.

In terms of its AI functionality, HubSpot’s Breeze Assistant is embedded within the system, which can help teams draft personalized sales messages and summarize information. Breeze AI also provides agents for prospecting and buyer-intent intelligence, with the interconnected pipeline within a single platform seen as a major advantage by users.

**Key features:**

- **Unified customer platform:** Sales Hub combines a single CRM for sales and marketing purposes, ensuring customer data isn’t siloed.

- **Email and sequence automation:** Reps can automate outreach sequences and specify follow-up responses.

- **AI Drafting and reporting:** AI tools are built-in for drafting messages, surfacing pipeline reporting, and prospecting new leads.

**Pros:**

- Reviewers comment positively on the connected pipeline between sales and marketing information.

- Customer support is often highlighted by users as a benefit, with many noting how well it complements an existing tech stack.

**Cons:**

- Users mention cost as a downside, saying that pricing climbs as businesses scale, requiring access to higher tiers to unlock some key features.

- Users often comment on the onboarding effort, with reviews mentioning the time it takes to onboard a team so that they can use the full feature set effectively.

**What a verified reviewer says:**

"I have been so pleased with the recent implementation of HubSpot to our entire team! It has proven to be a wonderful accompaniment to our existing platforms!"

Mai M., Managing Director, Feb 2026

### 6\. Zoho CRM: Best for an affordable, feature-rich CRM for SMBs

#### Trial/Free Version

- Free Trial
- Free Version

#### Device Compatibilty

[Zoho CRM](https://www.capterra.com/p/155928/Zoho-CRM/) is a good pick for sales teams looking for a feature-rich experience tailored to smaller companies. A common theme I noticed among user feedback is good ROI, as it offers a wide package of functionality but at a more cost-friendly price. This is helped also by the wide range of native apps that can also connect to the CRM functionality.

While its Zia AI assistant has a powerful toolset of predictive scoring, call intelligence, generative AI and autonomous agents, many of these features only come online at higher subscription tiers.

However, the price points of these higher tiers (around $40-50 per user per month when billed annually), compares well against competitors offering AI sales assistant tools. Especially as usage of AI features isn’t metered by usage token or credits, as it often is on other platforms.

**Key features:**

- **Zia AI:** Zoho’s Zia AI features for predictive scoring, call summaries and autonomous agents are built into subscription tiers at the price point, rather than being metered per use.

- **Omnichannel engagement:** The CRM platform combines channels such as email, phone, social media, and live chat in one customer record.

- **Zoho interconnectivity:** Zoho CRM connects natively with other platforms in the vendor’s ecosystem, letting SMBs run finance, support and marketing tools alongside sales.

**Pros:**

- User feedback speaks positively of the broadness of the platform and its functional utility at an SMB friendly price.

- Automation and customization features allow users to tailor the CRM effectively for their own sales processes.

**Cons:**

- The learning curve is often singled out as a pain point for users, with the feature rich experience sometimes working against the usability of the interface.

- Feedback from users is more mixed about Zoho’s customer support, with some finding its responsiveness lacking.

**What a verified reviewer says:**

"I really believe this is an excellent CRM choice for companies that need to work within a limited budget. The great part is that even though it's cost-effective, it doesn't feel low-quality at all."

### 7\. Pipedrive: Best for a simple pipeline CRM for small sales teams

#### Trial/Free Version

- Free Trial
- Free Version

#### Device Compatibilty

Lastly, [Pipedrive](https://www.capterra.com/p/132666/Pipedrive/) makes this list thanks to its built-in AI Sales Assistant. This analyzes data from deals, contacts and emails to provide informational support during the sales pipeline.

In practice it is able to help inform decision-making by calculating win-probability of possible contracts, identify high-potential opportunities and flag neglected or stalled deals. This stands alongside other AI functionality found in the system such as email generators and reporting and email thread summaries.

**Key features:**

- **AI sales assistant:** Pipedrive’s assistant can predict win/loss probabilities for deals and suggest follow-up actions based on the activity in the sales pipeline.

- **Visual pipeline:** The interface uses a visual drag and drop system when managing the pipeline to keep deal stages clear.

- **Activity reminders and email sync:** Automated notifications and synced emails allow users to align all their client records in one place.

**Pros:**

- Reviewers mention the simplicity of onboarding onto Pipedrive and the ease of use once it's set up.

- Users highlight the benefits of the customizable pipeline for making it easier to track deals at a glance.

**Cons:**

- Some users see the reporting features as a limitation, with many wanting more advanced options.

- Feedback tends to be more mixed about the cheaper pricing tiers with reviewers sometimes feeling it is feature-light compared to other options for CRM.

**What a verified reviewer says:**

"Pipedrive is super visual and simple. Satisfied with its customizable pipeline, easy onboarding, ability to set up automation and a single place of keeping my clients' information."

Sauve G., Sales Representative, May 2026

## How to choose the right AI sales assistant

When upgrading your sales platform or switching to one that offers AI assistant functionality it is important to factor in some key elements.

For example, when looking at AI features for sales, such as assistant tools, pricing is often a key factor. It’s important to check if AI is featured in the pricing tier that fits your budget and use case, as AI functionality may only be available in higher cost tiers.

Also, as I saw with many options on this list, some vendors apply a credit-cost for AI use, meaning that heavy reliance could raise the monthly sales costs for your business. It can help to check whether there are limitations affecting how AI is used when deploying it in your business.

Furthermore, AI Sales Assistant software options can often be more attuned for certain tasks better than others. This is especially important if you rely more on cold outreach, sending messages by email or calling prospects primarily. It’s important to weigh-up how your sales team’s requirements are best served to make the correct choice.

As you search through the available options use these questions to narrow the list:

- **What is your primary sales focus?** Consider if you need tools that cater to field selling, cold outbound or inbound pipeline management.

- **Where are your sales reps losing the most time on tasks?** Focus on AI tools that possess features that solve major time sinks in your sales pipeline.

- **How complex is your pipeline and sales organization?** If you’re operating with a smaller sales team, setup and ease of use are a major goal. For larger teams with more internal support, consider factors like customization, forecasting and admin controls.

- **How will the tool fit around your existing tech stack?** Can your team manage with a single standalone AI assistant for sales or does it need to work within an existing tool or software infrastructure (e.g. Salesforce or Zoho).

- **What is your budget and how is AI priced?** AI features may come with extra unexpected costs from metered usage or a requirement to upgrade to higher pricing tiers.

- **Do you need an assistant or an agent?** Consider if you need an AI that supports your sales reps in tasks, note-taking or decision making (an assistant) or if you need AI that automates some parts of the sales pipeline (an agent).

## When does it make sense to use an AI sales assistant?

Using an AI sales assistant can prove useful if selling time is taken up too much by data entry, note-taking and follow-up admin. They appear in many [full CRM tools](https://www.capterra.com/customer-relationship-management-software/), as I found when collating this list, although there are also a few standalone options that are more dedicated to AI assistant functionality from the get-go.

An AI sales assistant can work well for smaller set-ups to fill gaps in this functionality. Although frictions that might arise in larger teams with multiple reps, struggling with pipeline visibility or integrations that struggle across the wider tech stacks may signal a full CRM is needed.

This is a key decision many firms may have to make as the sales and marketing sector increasingly adopts AI. Industry trends show many teams are committing more investment towards AI adoption in this way generally. In Capterra’s 2026 Sales and Marketing Software Trends Survey, nearly two thirds of professionals (63%) expect their spend to rise on sectorial software, with 41%, highlighting adding functionality, such as AI, as the main reason.

Regardless of how companies adopt AI sales assistant tools, whether it is by a standalone system or by adding it to their CRM solution, it must be carefully judged to fit a sales team’s budget, resources and requirements.

## Frequently asked questions

What is an AI sales assistant?

It's software that uses AI to help sales teams automate everyday work, such as qualifying leads, drafting follow-ups, managing the pipeline, updating the CRM, and forecasting. It supports a human rep rather than replacing them, freeing up time for actual selling.

How much does an AI sales assistant cost?

In most cases the AI sales assistant functionality will require a paid tier and in some cases the purchase of credits due to metered usage.

Is there a free AI sales assistant?

In practice, it is rare to find a truly free AI sales assistant. While many vendors may include this functionality in temporary trials, few bundle this in with forever free or ‘freemium’ versions of their software. When they do appear they may come with significant usage limitations or require users to purchase credits to run them.

What's the difference between an AI sales assistant, an AI SDR, and an AI sales agent?

An assistant supports a human rep inside their workflow. An AI SDR or sales agent runs a step autonomously, like prospecting or booking meetings on its own. If removing the AI just means a person does the task manually, it's an assistant; if the task stops happening, it's an agent.

Can an AI sales assistant actually close deals?

Not on its own. Assistants speed up the work around selling, for example, research, outreach, notes, forecasting but the deal-closing judgment still sits with the rep. That's exactly why the assistive model is the one most teams start with today.
