### "Zoho Assist trial has convinced me why so many IT solopreneurs use it "

July 25, 2026

5.0

Evaluating Zoho Assist as a potential economical alternative to TeamViewer (I'm a former TeamViewer subscriber). I've moved to part-time employment as I 'ease into' retirement and continue to provide support and knowledge transfer for the engineer hired to backfill my role. Evaluating tools to support my desire to support non-profit and small business clients as a solopreneur to keep my brain active (and keep me from driving my family nuts in retirement). Had first considered AnyDesk, but discovered that their pricing now approaches that of TeamViewer. While providing similar features and functionality, Zoho Assist clearly wins the value-for-money analysis among the three for me and the features I value. I experienced no connection issues or bugs during my testing to date. I do need to research Zoho Assist client software update auto-deployment to fully understand the lift there.

Pros

Very pleased with the ease of use (and installation) for both technician and client. Zoho reached out to me shortly after signing up for the trial to see how it was going (appreciate the proactive approach to customer support, despite not needing to call them...yet...during my trial period). Appreciate the ability to purchase remote support subscription separate from remote access subscription, which will allow me to control costs.

Cons

While the initial installation of the Zoho Assist client is simple and straightforward, it is unclear whether software updates for clients are automatic or will require reinstallation/redeployment of the apps as new security and/or feature updates are released

Alternatives considered

[AnyDesk](https://www.capterra.com/p/149595/AnyDesk/)

Reason for choosing Zoho Assist

Discovered AnyDesk is currently in the same ballpark as TeamViewer when evaluating subscription costs for the features I valued highly.

### "Good review"

July 6, 2026

4.0

Overall, my experience with Zoho Assist has been very positive. It is a reliable and user-friendly remote support solution that makes it easy to connect to and troubleshoot devices quickly. The platform offers useful features such as unattended access, file transfer, remote reboot, and multi-monitor support, helping IT teams resolve issues efficiently while minimizing downtime. It has become a valuable tool for providing fast and secure remote assistance.

Pros

What I liked most about Zoho Assist is its ease of use, reliable remote connection, and fast setup. It allows IT support teams to troubleshoot user devices quickly without requiring complex configuration. Features such as unattended access, file transfer, multi-monitor support, session recording, and reboot/reconnect make remote support efficient and secure. The web-based interface is intuitive, and the overall performance is stable, helping reduce downtime and improve support response times.

Cons

While Zoho Assist is a strong remote support solution, there are a few areas that could be improved. Occasionally, connection quality may decrease on slower internet connections, and some advanced features are limited to higher-tier plans. The user interface could also be more streamlined for first-time users, and file transfers can sometimes be slower when working with very large files.

Alternatives considered

[TeamViewer ONE](https://www.capterra.com/p/194565/TeamViewer/)

Reason for choosing Zoho Assist

I chose Zoho Assist because it provides an excellent balance of features, ease of use, reliability, and cost. The setup process is simple, the remote sessions are stable, and it includes essential capabilities such as unattended access, file transfer, remote reboot, session recording, and multi-monitor support. Compared to other remote support solutions, Zoho Assist offers competitive pricing without compromising on security or functionality, making it a practical choice for our IT support needs.

### "Verification Process Needs Improvement"

July 2, 2026

1.0

Overall experience was not good. I would not recommend this service to my colleagues. The response times are unacceptable for a critical service like IT.

Pros

Once I was able to get verified the service is working great! The remote access unattended feature works as expected.

Cons

My client was out of support for 5 days while I waited for verification. I called daily and sent multiple email to their verification team. The verification process needs improvement there are gaps in the process which me and my client experienced. That caused the business operations to significantly slow down and impact their customers. I was also charged for those days I was unable to use the service. The chat and communication feature was no help.

### "Easy to Use, Reliable Remote Support Tool"

May 26, 2026

5.0

Overall, Zoho Assist provides a dependable and user-friendly remote support solution. It strikes a good balance between simplicity and functionality, making it suitable for both IT professionals and less technical users. The platform allows quick access to remote machines, supports efficient troubleshooting, and reduces the time needed to resolve issues. It has become a reliable tool for day-to-day support tasks, especially in environments where ease of access and minimal setup are key.

Pros

Zoho Assist is extremely easy to use, both for the technician and the end user. The setup process is quick, and joining a remote session is straightforward with minimal steps, which is ideal when supporting non‑technical users. The interface is clear and well organised, making it simple to navigate between sessions, file transfers, and system tools. Performance is reliable, with stable connections and good screen responsiveness. It also integrates well with other Zoho products, which helps streamline workflows.

Cons

There are very few downsides overall, but at times the interface can feel slightly basic compared to some higher-end alternatives. Some advanced features are not as intuitive to locate initially, and there can occasionally be minor latency depending on the network connection. However, these issues are relatively minor and do not impact day-to-day use.

I was able to have unattended access to 6 devices simultaneously. For the price of the service, I think it's fantastic.

Pros

The trial period is very short; you don't get a complete overview of the software in just a few days. It would be great to be able to give the team a name instead of the default one.

### "Zoho Assist review."

July 1, 2026

5.0

For $10 a month, you get an excellent remote assistance product with similar tools as much more expensive software. Easy to use, with all the features required for the job. Fast and competent support. When an issue with credential elevation arose, it was resolved immediately.

Pros

Good value for money. Excellent customer support. Easy to use. Connection to devices with minimal effort. Web-based interface. Chat included. No connection Issues under normal network conditions.

Cons

So far, chat responsiveness is the main issue. It is slow and weak at recognising non-standard characters.

Pros

I like Zoho Assist because the attended access is simple and quick. I can send the customer a link, connect to their computer, and help them right away without making the process complicated. It makes remote support easier for both our team and the customer.

Cons

### "It is my favourite remote access solution"

March 31, 2026

5.0

love it!!!! I have used multiple applications - Bomgar, Teamviewer, Anyviewer, AnyDesk, ScreenConnect - and this one is my favourite. Bomgar is 2nd. If I was given an option to use any on my list and someone was paying for it, I would still choose Zoho. The pricing options and customizations make it a no brainer.

Pros

Zoho was very easy to use, and ease to install. It links with Spiceworks Help Desk which is great bc I can track tickets by device. Saves so much time being able to remote access. I usedthe option that allows me to group devices like I was used to when I used BeyondTrust Bomgar. It is a great tool without any need for customer support to guide you through setup. It also offers MFA which is a great option for users needing a secure remote access option. Lastly, value!!! It is very valuable as a government agency that has a fixed budget. I have been and will continue to recommend this product

Cons

The option of technician vs unattended assistance was confusing in the beginning. I had to use the trial to understand the difference. I wish it was made clearer in the pricing.

### "The Ease of Zoho Assist Is Phenomenal"

April 15, 2026

5.0

Overall, my experience with Zoho Assist has been very positive. It is easy to use, gives solid remote access functionality, and is a practical tool for customer support when you need to troubleshoot problems quickly. It offers good value for money, especially for businesses that want a reliable remote support option without overpaying. While there may be occasional connection issues or minor bugs, the platform is strong overall and continues to improve with software updates. For day-to-day remote assistance, it has been a dependable and worthwhile tool.

Pros

What I liked most about Zoho Assist was how easy it is to use. It is quick to set up, simple to navigate, and makes remote access straightforward without unnecessary complexity. From a value-for-money perspective, it does the job well without feeling overpriced. It is also helpful for customer support because you can jump in quickly, see the issue firsthand, and resolve things faster than trying to talk someone through it over the phone or email.

Cons

What I liked least was that connection quality can sometimes depend heavily on the user's device or internet connection, leading to occasional connection issues or lag. I have also come across small bugs or interface quirks that feel a little clunky, especially compared with more polished premium tools. Software updates are generally fine, but sometimes improvements to usability and stability would make the experience even better.

### "Zoho Assist, best Remote Support Application"

December 16, 2025

I am happy as it was less than half the price I was paying to Anydesk. Yes I need to guide users but it is one time process and doesn't take long.

Pros

It is very fast and dont lag. I like the unattended access part. Setup was seamless and works very fast. It also maintain log and calculate total time, every time I connect to my customers. I can setup billing based on the hours I supported customers.

Cons

Customer needs to install Zoho assistance in order to connect. Also it asks user permission, so I need to guide user over the phone. In Anydesk, it is straight forward just tell the number and done

### "A Reliable Remote Support Ally for Nearly a Decade"

August 7, 2025

5.0

I’ve been using Zoho Assist for almost 10 years, and it has been a consistently reliable tool in my remote support toolbox. Over the years, I’ve witnessed how it has steadily improved; not only in performance but also in usability and available features. It's now more practical and powerful than ever. Even when other popular tools fail, Zoho Assist has come through for me, proving to be a true lifesaver in critical moments. It’s affordable, dependable, and well-suited for both small and large-scale remote support environments. Very user-friendly: I’d say 95% of the interface is intuitive and smooth to use. Only affected when internet connection drops which in my case is due to rural network limitations, not the platform itself.

Pros

Zoho Assist is packed with useful features like file transfer, chat, audio, clipboard sharing, and excellent video quality. It works reliably even in rural areas with limited bandwidth, which is a gamechanger. The unattended access feature, once set up, is incredibly helpful for ongoing support tasks. I especially appreciate the responsiveness of their customer support and how easy it is to onboard new technicians once they are familiar with the interface.

Cons

Setting up new devices in unattended mode can be slightly confusing at first, especially when trying to organize multiple devices into teams. However, with a bit of practice, this becomes much easier and totally worth it considering the functionality it provides.

### "Zoho Assist best remote management"

January 9, 2026

5.0

I have used and tested multiple remote management systems. Zoho Assist has proven to have the best feature set and performance for the cost. It also integrates seamlessly with other Zoho products. We started using Zoho Assist and found it so good that we purchased several other Zoho management applications to give us a full management suite.

Pros

Zoho Assist is easy to use and has a full feature set for remote management of servers and user support. Assist's multiple deployment options make it efficient for the support tech to get connected and fix issues quickly.

Cons

### "I really like Zoho Assist."

January 23, 2026

5.0

The testing phase and purchase process was very straightforward. It was very easy to learn how to use and try out the product. The price for remote maintenance software for individual customers is much more realistic compared to other products. I can recommend it with a clear conscience.

Pros

Remote customer support is quick and easy to set up. The connection is established quickly and availability is good.

Cons

### "Zoho before the "NO-NO" application"

October 27, 2025

5.0

I had situations where I could not upkeep an internet connection. Anydesk would keep failing and drop connection causing me to reconnect every time. Zoho helped with the situation right there after and I could keep up the connection and change the Firewall settings and allow internet to an offsite office. keeping connection on LTE WIFI and configuring LAN. it helped a ton, and I was needed to fly to the client. all of this and at the same price I paid for other software with less capability.

Pros

the Remote Support is simple and easy to follow. replaced our other software that only had single usage and Zoho support 2 concurrent connections. Which is very helpful When I need to be on a Server and a client at once.

### "TOP Unattended Access software"

March 11, 2026

5.0

I have been using this platform for several months now, and it has quickly become an essential part of my daily workflow. If you are looking for a tool that balances power with simplicity, this is it.

Pros

Performance & Usability The Ease of Use is one of its strongest suits; the interface is intuitive, allowing for a near-zero learning curve. This simplicity translates directly into Time Saving, as I can now complete tasks that used to take an hour in just a few minutes. Remote Capabilities & Reliability The Remote Access feature is incredibly stable. While many platforms struggle with Connection Issues, I’ve found this one to be remarkably resilient even on lower bandwidth. When minor Bugs and Issues do arise—as they do with any complex software—they are usually patched quickly and don't interfere with the core experience. Support & Investment The Customer Support team deserves a special mention. They are responsive, technical, and actually listen to user feedback. When you consider the level of service and the robust feature set, the Value for Money is unbeatable. It is a smart investment for anyone looking to streamline their operations.

Cons

Sometimes renaming devices and creating groups can be a bit cumbersome, as can creating groups, since you have to go to separate and different sections.

Our overall experience with Zoho Assist has been very positive. It has made remote troubleshooting and device management much more efficient by providing secure and reliable remote access. The platform is easy to use, offers useful features such as unattended access and file transfer, and helps resolve issues quickly. It has improved our support team's productivity while providing excellent value for the cost.

### "A refreshingly simple UI backed by rock-solid stability"

June 5, 2026

5.0

My overall experience has been fantastic. Remote support can easily become stressful if the software plays up, but ZohoAssist gives me genuine peace of mind. Knowing that I can rely on a stable, smooth connection with an intuitive layout makes my workflow completely seamless... It’s a great piece of software that respects your time and doesn't overcomplicate things.

Pros

The two things that completely won me over are its uncluttered, simple UI and its rock-solid stability. Setting up a remote access session is incredibly straightforward for both me and my clients, there is zero steep learning curve or confusing menus to wade through. Once connected, the stability is brilliant. I haven't had to deal with random dropouts or frustrating lag, which is a massive relief when you're trying to fix a technical issue under pressure. It just works.

Cons

Honestly, because I'm so satisfied with its daily performance, it's hard to find a major flaw. If I had to pick something, navigating into some of the deeper, advanced admin configurations can occasionally feel a little hidden away. However, it's a minor hurdle that doesn't impact the core remote support experience at all.

### "Reliable and User-Friendly Remote Support Solution"

April 28, 2026

5.0

Overall, my experience with Zoho Assist has been positive. It is a reliable and user-friendly remote support tool that makes it easy to connect to systems and resolve issues efficiently. The setup process is quick, and the interface is simple enough for both technical and non-technical users. Features like unattended access, screen sharing, and file transfer work smoothly in most cases. While there are occasional connectivity or performance issues, they are not frequent enough to significantly impact productivity. Overall, it is a dependable solution for remote support and system management.

Pros

I liked Zoho Assist for its ease of use and quick setup, which makes remote support sessions very smooth. The interface is intuitive, so even non-technical users can connect without difficulty. It provides reliable remote access with good performance and minimal lag. Features like unattended access, file transfer, and multi-platform support are very useful for managing systems efficiently. Additionally, its strong security measures, such as encryption and authentication, make it a trustworthy tool for remote assistance.

Cons

At times, Zoho Assist can experience slight lag or connectivity issues, especially on slower networks, which can affect the smoothness of remote sessions. Some advanced features are only available in higher-tier plans, which can be limiting for users on basic plans. The mobile experience could also be improved, as it is not as seamless as the desktop version. Additionally, occasional UI complexity in certain settings may require a bit of a learning curve for new users.

### "Zoho Assist for affordable remote support"

May 19, 2026

4.0

When work-at-home was required in 2020, we were able to quickly implement effective remote support for all users with Zoho Assist. We have definitely received value for our investment since then.

Pros

Zoho has provided reliable remote support at an affordable price since we migrated from primarily on-prem desktop systems to laptops in 2020 & 2021.

Cons

At rare intervals a workstation with Zoho Assist installed becomes inaccessible from the console - usually after sitting on a shelf of "spares" for a long time.
