### "Reliable, feature-rich remote support tool with excellent value for money"

September 7, 2026

5.0

We have been using Zoho Assist as our primary tool for remote support and unattended system maintenance. It handles both quick on-demand troubleshooting for end-users and background administration of unattended machines across different networks reliably. Connection stability is solid, session initiation is rapid, and the web interface is clean and intuitive for technicians. It drastically reduces resolution times for remote IT tasks and provides an enterprise-level feature set at an accessible price point.

Pros

Zoho Assist is exceptionally fast and easy to deploy. Unattended access setup takes just a couple of minutes, and connecting to client machines via on-demand sessions works seamlessly right through web browsers without requiring heavy client installations. Key features that stand out: Multi-monitor support and screen toggling: Smooth performance across multiple monitors without latency. Unattended Access: High reliability for remote server maintenance and endpoint management. Security & Compliance: Built-in UAC prompts, SSL encryption, and two-factor authentication provide complete peace of mind. Integration: Integrates effortlessly into ticketing and CRM systems for seamless technician workflows. Compared to competitors like TeamViewer or AnyDesk, Zoho Assist offers equal—if not better—stability at a fraction of the cost.

Cons

Large file transfers can occasionally experience slight speed throttles depending on network conditions compared to direct LAN transfers. Mobile-to-desktop session controls are functional, but the screen scaling on smaller mobile displays takes a bit of getting used to.

### "Convenient Solution for Everyday IT Support"

September 11, 2026

4.0

Overall, my experience with Zoho Assist has been positive. It is a reliable tool for remote IT support and allows us to troubleshoot user devices without needing to be physically present. The Remote Access performance is generally good, and the software is easy for both technicians and end users to work with. Customer Support has also been helpful when assistance is required. Regular Software Updates and improvements would further enhance the product and address some of the minor issues.

Pros

Zoho Assist is very easy to use and provides reliable Remote Access for day-to-day IT support. The interface is straightforward, and features such as unattended access and file transfer make remote troubleshooting much easier. The Ease of Use and overall Value for Money are particularly good compared with similar remote support solutions.

Cons

Occasionally, there can be Connection Issues, especially when network conditions are not ideal. There are also some minor Bugs and Issues that could be improved. More advanced customization and reporting options would also be useful for larger IT teams.

Alternatives considered

[AnyDesk](https://www.capterra.com/p/149595/AnyDesk/)

Reason for choosing Zoho Assist

We chose Zoho Assist mainly because of its Value for Money, Ease of Use, and strong Administrative Access features. It provides the remote support capabilities we need at a reasonable cost, while the simple interface makes it easy for technicians to manage remote sessions. The administrative controls also allow us to manage users, technicians, permissions, and remote access efficiently, making it a practical choice for our IT support requirements.

### "Quick to grab the $$$, way slower to fix the problems"

July 30, 2026

3.0

Meh. As long as I dealt with Zoho’s challenges, it would reliably work within those constraints. Addressing issues never happened. Connecting to the right person by phone was a kludge. Their support was 12 or more hours ahead and when they reached out, it was so far out from the problem I was having it was irrelevant. The reach out was not like for like; if I call you, don’t send a text, chat or email. Call me back. Might not match your version of support, but if I called, I wanted a resolution on the phone, not weeks after when \[sensitive content hidden\] came back from vacation

Pros

Ease of use whilst maintaining security. Talking new customers through the download process was fairly easy.

Cons

Lack of followup or availability of support from a real person. I had questions that had been open for 19 months that were NEVER addressed or attempts were made via a chat tool when I stated that I spend desk time in a vehicle, so a call is the optimal way to get me

### "Zoho Assist trial has convinced me why so many IT solopreneurs use it "

July 25, 2026

5.0

Evaluating Zoho Assist as a potential economical alternative to TeamViewer (I'm a former TeamViewer subscriber). I've moved to part-time employment as I 'ease into' retirement and continue to provide support and knowledge transfer for the engineer hired to backfill my role. Evaluating tools to support my desire to support non-profit and small business clients as a solopreneur to keep my brain active (and keep me from driving my family nuts in retirement). Had first considered AnyDesk, but discovered that their pricing now approaches that of TeamViewer. While providing similar features and functionality, Zoho Assist clearly wins the value-for-money analysis among the three for me and the features I value. I experienced no connection issues or bugs during my testing to date. I do need to research Zoho Assist client software update auto-deployment to fully understand the lift there.

Pros

Very pleased with the ease of use (and installation) for both technician and client. Zoho reached out to me shortly after signing up for the trial to see how it was going (appreciate the proactive approach to customer support, despite not needing to call them...yet...during my trial period). Appreciate the ability to purchase remote support subscription separate from remote access subscription, which will allow me to control costs.

Cons

While the initial installation of the Zoho Assist client is simple and straightforward, it is unclear whether software updates for clients are automatic or will require reinstallation/redeployment of the apps as new security and/or feature updates are released

Reason for choosing Zoho Assist

### "Zoho has the best remote access features!"

August 20, 2026

5.0

I have used Zoho for several years mostly for remote access. During that time, I have never had any major issues and anything I have needed assistance with, has been resolved promptly. Zoho has been a great tool to help me in my work.

Pros

I love that Zoho supports Multiple Monitors in remote access. It is easy to use and if I do have an issue, customer support is always prompt in resolving. I have never had any connection issues or bugs issues and their software updates are always timely. Overall, I think Zoho is a great value for the money.

Cons

Rarely do I have any issues, but when I do, ocassionally support is a small challenge to contact due to local time differences.

### "Great Product!"

August 24, 2026

It has been a great product that allows me to remotely manage workstations for a business that I'm not physically at.

Pros

Easy to use and cost effective. It is probably the easiest way to log in remotely to workstations that I have found.

Cons

I guess maybe the only thing that I'm not fond of is that it's a little involved to get this set up correctly on Mac computers.

We've been using Zoho Assist for years. Never had any serious issues. Users love it and we love it as it provides a first class experience for our customers.

Pros

Zoho assist has exceptional possibilities when it comes to technicians privileges. When other software freezes during admin consent, reboot etc. Zoho Assist simply just work!

Cons

### "Good value with very little compromise"

September 14, 2026

4.0

Pros

Setup is very straight forward, especially for small teams. For features available compared to cost, it is very well priced compared to others.

Cons

Cost was the initial deciding factor. As we required more functionality we could not justify the premium for the features. Once we compared product features, the savings and workflow improvements cemented the decision to switch.

### "The Ease of Zoho Assist Is Phenomenal"

April 15, 2026

5.0

Overall, my experience with Zoho Assist has been very positive. It is easy to use, gives solid remote access functionality, and is a practical tool for customer support when you need to troubleshoot problems quickly. It offers good value for money, especially for businesses that want a reliable remote support option without overpaying. While there may be occasional connection issues or minor bugs, the platform is strong overall and continues to improve with software updates. For day-to-day remote assistance, it has been a dependable and worthwhile tool.

Pros

What I liked most about Zoho Assist was how easy it is to use. It is quick to set up, simple to navigate, and makes remote access straightforward without unnecessary complexity. From a value-for-money perspective, it does the job well without feeling overpriced. It is also helpful for customer support because you can jump in quickly, see the issue firsthand, and resolve things faster than trying to talk someone through it over the phone or email.

Cons

What I liked least was that connection quality can sometimes depend heavily on the user's device or internet connection, leading to occasional connection issues or lag. I have also come across small bugs or interface quirks that feel a little clunky, especially compared with more polished premium tools. Software updates are generally fine, but sometimes improvements to usability and stability would make the experience even better.

May 7, 2026

5.0

Overall its been a great experience. I was a bit on edge with the cost for the service but its been pretty solid compared to connect wise.

Pros

Pretty smooth transition with branding. The remote feature is smooth on the web portal, desktop agent and iphone app. Customer support is spot on with quick response when issues are reported. Pretty simple to use once you get use to the management page.

Cons

Not much on the end point reporting side at this time but i imagine its in the works. I've experienced 1 bad connection issue but that was cleared up after reporting to support.

### "Zoho Assist, best Remote Support Application"

December 16, 2025

5.0

I am happy as it was less than half the price I was paying to Anydesk. Yes I need to guide users but it is one time process and doesn't take long.

Pros

It is very fast and dont lag. I like the unattended access part. Setup was seamless and works very fast. It also maintain log and calculate total time, every time I connect to my customers. I can setup billing based on the hours I supported customers.

Cons

### "Reliable Remote Support"

December 9, 2025

Zoho Assist has been a dependable tool for our IT department. We support hundreds of users across several clinics, and being able to remotely assist staff quickly is essential. Zoho Assist has helped us reduce ticket resolution times, provide faster support, and keep our operations running smoothly. The platform is stable, simple to use, and fits well into our workflow.

### "Zoho before the "NO-NO" application"

I had situations where I could not upkeep an internet connection. Anydesk would keep failing and drop connection causing me to reconnect every time. Zoho helped with the situation right there after and I could keep up the connection and change the Firewall settings and allow internet to an offsite office. keeping connection on LTE WIFI and configuring LAN. it helped a ton, and I was needed to fly to the client. all of this and at the same price I paid for other software with less capability.

Pros

### "Reliable and Affordable Remote Support Tool for Nonprofits"

June 16, 2026

5.0

Overall, Zoho Assist has been a reliable and cost-effective remote support solution for our IT team at a nonprofit organization. It simplifies remote troubleshooting significantly, allowing us to support staff across multiple locations without needing to be on-site. The tool has saved us considerable time and resources, and I would recommend it to other IT administrators, particularly those in budget-conscious organizations looking for a capable remote access platform.

Pros

Zoho Assist has been an excellent remote support tool for our IT team. The remote access capabilities are seamless and reliable, allowing us to quickly connect to end-user machines without any complicated setup. The unattended access feature is particularly valuable for managing servers and systems after hours. It integrates well with our existing workflow, and the web-based console means technicians don't need to install heavy software. The pricing is very reasonable, especially for a nonprofit organization, and the session recording feature is great for documentation and training purposes.

Cons

Occasionally, connection stability can be inconsistent on slower networks, which can be frustrating during active support sessions. The mobile app experience could use some improvement for technicians who need to provide support on the go. Additionally, some of the more advanced reporting features are locked behind higher-tier plans, and the user interface, while functional, can feel a bit cluttered at times. Customer support response times could also be faster for non-critical issues.

### "Good Remote Software"

March 26, 2026

5.0

My overall experience with Zoho Assist has been extremely positive. It’s a reliable, professional-grade remote support tool that consistently delivers when I need it most. Whether I’m helping a customer troubleshoot an issue or accessing a system remotely for maintenance, the process is smooth and efficient from start to finish. What stands out is how dependable it is—connections are stable, sessions are quick to launch, and I rarely run into technical hiccups. It also presents well to customers, which is important for maintaining a professional image during support sessions. Overall, Zoho Assist has made remote support faster, easier, and more streamlined, allowing me to focus more on solving problems and less on dealing with the software itself.

Pros

Zoho Assist has been an absolute game-changer for remote support. What I liked most is how easy it is to connect to a client’s computer—no complicated setup, just a quick session link and you're in. The interface is clean and intuitive, which makes it simple to use even during high-pressure support situations. The performance is solid, with fast connections and minimal lag, even when working on more demanding tasks. I also really appreciate the unattended access feature—it allows me to manage systems without needing the customer present, which is huge for efficiency. Another standout is the reliability. Sessions stay stable, file transfers are smooth, and I’ve never had to worry about losing connection mid-job. Overall, Zoho Assist saves time, looks professional to clients, and makes remote support feel effortless.

Cons

Intuitive, easy to for both the tech and the remote user, and budget friendly. Connection is stable and lag free. If you are a small-medium size business, this is a great remote support tool. When partnered with Zoho Desk, management and ticketing is simple.

Cons

Interface could use some updating, but it is mostly a cosmetic Con. Also, it would be nice to be able to launch a session directly through Zoho Desk, along with the associated ticket times (machine interaction times). Currently, you would have to manually enter the Assist session notes and technician times into the ticket in Zoho Desk.

### "Zoho Assist "

May 7, 2026

5.0

I've used it for years and years at my previous role. Always was reliable. Sessions connected when I needed them, file transfer worked, and I rarely had to fall back to another tool.

Pros

I like how easy it is for the user on the other end. They just click a link, run a tiny app, and we're connected. No accounts to make, no installs to fight with.

Cons

Sometimes it can be hard to get the admin stuff to work at first. The unattended access setup and permissions took a few tries before everything worked the way I wanted.
