Attorney Law Practice Used the software for: 2+ years ### "Great Legal Software!" January 18, 2022 5.0 Positive to say the least. I can run reports easily, prioritize my tasks easily, keep my clients informed in a more efficient manner, etc. Pros Timenet is easy to use, inexpensive and they are constantly improving the product to help me better manage my practice. Cons I cannot really say that there is anything that I do not like about the product or that I least like about the product because any issue I had was usually user error. Timenet helped me fix anything that I had trouble with quickly. I guess if there is anything I least like it would be the inability to write checks from the program as I want to eliminate using a separate program like Quickbooks. He makes changes to the program to make it more efficient but not more complicated. He is on top of development bugs and makes fixes very fast. I have never felt the program was not doing the job that I need to be done. Pros What I really enjoy is the near instant support when something goes wrong our you don't understand something. I am an early adopter of Time Net Law and have assisted the developer with suggestions. I really have found it meets my needs and my government clients like the program and when I am audited they take a look and just say that is fine. My last audit took 15 minutes. Cons I really don't know of any Con's with Time Net Law Reason for choosing TimeNet Law I looked at ten or twelve products and settled on Time Net Law. Switched from [Sage Timeslips](https://www.capterra.com/p/114210/Sage-Timeslips/) I did not like the way Timeslips worked and it was to complicated to be used as a daily time keeper. Office Manager Law Practice Used the software for: 2+ years ### "Best billing program for Legal Billing" February 9, 2026 5.0 Customer service is great when you get a hold of the team but sometimes it is difficult to get a quick response like when the program was in the earlier stages. Pros Still love the ease of use and reading invoices is a plus, I like that I can customize the invoice for the most part. Cons Still the same issue with not being able to post payments quicker but it is not a game changer I love the program. I would like to add a QR code to the invoices but have not figured that out yet. They go above and beyond to answer any questions and to fix any issues you may have and their responses are prompt. I would recommend this product to everyone. But recently I networked the software on my laptop and it has been great! It was easy to set up the networking and I have been highly satisfied with the networked product and service experience. I can perform the entire monthly billing process in a few short minutes so TimeNet Law saves a load of time and money over other products. I highly recommend it! Pros I have used TimeNet Law since I formed LeVan Law Group LLC in 2014 and I have been thoroughly pleased with the ease of operation, the efficiency with which I can track time and bill clients, and the prompt and helpful support services provided when questions arose. \[SENSITIVE CONTENT HIDDEN\] always responds promptly to inquiries and follows through on open items. Highly recommend! Cons I would like a bit more customization options in the invoice layouts, such as being able to insert hard breaks so that time entries don't split pages. Finding \[SENSITIVE CONTENT\] has made easy some of those tasks that I have always been undisciplined and simply bad at doing, such as keeping track of my time and billing. I highly and without qualification recommend that anyone in need of a Mac friendly solution to billing and time management reach out to \[SENSITIVE CONTENT\] Pros I am a Mac guy, who test drove many Windows based billing management systems and found all of them clunky, lacking and expensive. I found \[SENSITIVE CONTENT\], test drove his software and cancelled my subscriptions to the other systems, and was up and working in no time. TNL satisfies my very simple needs elegantly. Cons No cons, except that after an upgrade I could not longer find my client files, but a call to \[SENSITIVE CONTENT\] resolved that issue promptly. Pros When switching over to TimeNet we had many concerns with the ease of learning and integrating the software. Thankfully, this software is very user friendly and easy to grasp. Not to mention any outstanding questions are always answered right away with the amazing customer support! Cons With any software, there is always an occasional glitch or question. It is cost efficient without necessary payments on a monthly basis, and a software that provides you easy management of your business. Whether you are a small firm, solo practitioner, or a full blown law / consulting firm, I highly recommend you try TimeNet Law to manage your clients, and time. The update to 3.01 was easy as well and the interface is amazing. Pros Software is easy to get used to, and the interface is great. Cons I would recommend to have an easier online manual to allow a faster adaptation to it. I am so impressed with the application and even more so with the tech support. Pros After using TimeSlips for over 30 years we have switched to TimeNet Law. The BEST thing about it is the prompt tech support. Changing from TimeSlips to a new platform does take some hand holding and the tech support at TimeNet Law is the BEST I have ever experienced.
