Our overall experience with EventMobi has been very positive. We support a fairly demanding conference portfolio, delivering more than 50 scientific meetings annually across a mix of in-person, livestream, and on-demand formats. The platform has proven to be reliable and adaptable across that range of use cases. What stands out is its ability to support both the attendee experience and the operational side of event delivery. It allows us to manage content, communication, and engagement in a centralized way while still giving us the flexibility to tailor each meeting to its specific needs. EventMobi also fits well within a broader technology ecosystem. We’ve been able to integrate it with other systems and workflows, which is important for maintaining consistency across our internal operations and digital products. Overall, it has been a dependable platform for running complex, high-volume events while continuing to evolve alongside our needs.

Pros

EventMobi provides a strong foundation for creating a unified experience across both in-person and virtual conference audiences. I use EventMobi to centralize event information and manage the agenda for large educational and networking events, and I really appreciate that it allows us to keep all our event information in one place, which reduces waste with printed agendas. They have excellent customer service and are responsive to feedback. We most use the agenda and notifications, and I also like building out custom pages with additional event information for attendees. The initial setup was super easy, as their team walked us through all the steps and even assisted with the initial building.

Cons

Overall, EventMobi offers solid features and functionality for managing events, but like any software has some minor areas for improvement.

Pros

I like that EventMobi offers a single platform to create an event website and track registrations. I don't have to log in multiple places or reconcile lists between different systems.

Cons

Only one user at a time can make edits to the event website in the backend. This makes it harder during big efforts like adding sessions and speakers for multi-day conference programs because multiple team members can't work in parallel.

We have been with EventMobi for 8 years, starting off with just using their app for our conference, but every year they come out with new products that help enhance our experience. We just tried out their Event Attendee Management and badge printing system and it is life changing. That used to be the most stressful part of our conference for me and it breezed by this year. I am also the type of person who doesn't like to let control go of processes but the team walked me through each step and was there to answer any question I had no matter how inane.

Pros

Ease of use and ability to learn the software quickly and without any issue. Anyone in the office is able to create and update in the software regardless of experience. The price was also a big positive as we are a not-for-profit organization, we are able to look like the big companies out there without breaking our budget.

Cons

Its honestly not a big deal, but having to use two separate apps for a branded event app and a lead capture app instead of having them integrated into one and access given to each based on status is a mild inconvenience if you can even call it that.

I have had a very positive experience with EventMobi. The platform is easy to set up, allows us to create a unique app for our event, and the live polls, surveys, and gamification have increased attendee involvement and sponsor connections. They are always looking for ways to improve an already well-functioning product.

Pros

Setup is straightforward on the back end, and I can make our app completely unique in appearance for our annual in-person healthcare conference. The mobile app tools we use most—live polls, surveys, and gamification—help attendees take part in presentations and encourage connections with sponsor companies. Overall, we’ve seen more connection and interaction among conference attendees.

Cons

I don’t have any dislikes at this time. I’m happy with the tools and features we use, and I don’t have requests for changes.

I’d like QR codes on name badges to support networking, since not many people carry business cards anymore.

EventMobi excels at attendee engagement. The live polls, surveys, and gamification features completely transformed how our attendees interacted with speakers and sponsors. I really appreciate how easy it is to customize the look and feel of the app to match our corporate branding perfectly. Setting up the backend is straightforward, and having the registration portal linked directly to the app ensures a seamless transition for the user. Their customer service team is fantastic, highly responsive, and genuinely listens to feedback.

Cons

Managing a very dense schedule with multiple concurrent sessions can be a bit tedious to organize exactly how you want it displayed. The design options for the initial registration landing page are somewhat limited compared to dedicated website builders. I also noticed that only one administrator can make edits to the backend event website at a time, which can create a bottleneck if you have a large team trying to update details at the last minute.

While document uploads were available within individual sessions, all files automatically populated into the central “Document” library. A more seamless separation between session-level uploads and the main document library would improve efficiency and enhance the overall attendee experience.

I've had a positive experience year over year with EventMobi. The entire team has been a great resource and has been great learning and trying out the new features that are being offered.

Pros

EventMobi was easy to setup on the backend and provided all the necessary resources to be able to utilize all the features. For attendees, EventMobi has been a great resource before, during, and after the conference. The engagement and interactive features are a great tool. We've been able to offer multiple scavenger hunts and networking challenges on the app, which increases engagement among attendees, speakers, and exhibitors/sponsors.

Cons

Tried the name badge feature, as we were utilizing the exhibitor lead retrieval, and found that we should have printed through the EventMobi printer option. We also linked RegFox with EventMobi and found their were several glitches during the syncing. Thankfully our support rep was able to assist us through the process.

The ICCA UK & Ireland Committee used the EventMobi App for their chapter conference in February 2025. The committee was delighted with the App, as were the sponsors/exhibitors and delegates. The EventMobi team offered excellent support throughout the onboarding and live event processes.

Pros

Very user friendly from both a build and delegate use perspective. Very visually appealing and an excellent engagement tool for delegates.

Cons

Perhaps a built in image gallery (rather than using a third party app) would be advantageous for event builders.

Pros

We have used the EventMobi mobile app for multiple years. We continue to use the app for a variety of reasons. It delivers a professional end result, allowing us to avoid printed programs, and therefore being more sustainable. First, the app is very user friendly for our team to do the set up. We build the Agenda, speaker profiles, live polls, sponsor/exhibit profiles and more with basic training needed. Additionally, we love the Q&A feature which allows the audience to post their questions for speakers, then upvote (no more running around with a mic!). Attendees are highly engaged in the app and have reported a positive user experience.

Cons

I don't have anything to share on Cons. The app works well for what we want to achieve.

We use Eventmobi for a once-a-year one-day conference. We have used it for about 4 years, and it works very well for us.

Pros

I like the fact that it's easy to configure for a conference, easy to load date into, and it is intuitive for users. Since the last time we used it, Eventmobi added a mobile app that is downloadable from the App Store or Google Play. That made it a lot easier for users compared to previously accessing a web link.

Cons

There are a few things we wanted to display that were not readily selectable. Some were documented, and others were not. However, Eventmobi support was very responsive and very helpful for those.

### "App made our conference communications easy!"

EventMobi offers solutions for communicating conference information. They have many features that has made our conference run more smoothly and has reduced administrative time.

Pros

\*We were able to go paperless - no more bulky printed conference guides. We are able to provide attendees with a schedule, speaker listings, vendors, maps, and more. \*The EventMobi template app has enough options that we can customize it to our needs, but is specific for conferences so we are not drowning in options. \*The app notification systems is a lifesaver for sending instant announcements to attendees during the conference. \*Before we used printed guides and decisions had to be made weeks prior to the conference for printing. Now, with EventMobi, we can make changes during the event and everyone is automatically updated. (Room changes etc). \*Tech Support helped us copy over last years app so we didn't have to start from scratch this year, each year it gets easier to set-up. We save lots of time using an app vs. paper guides. \*Add on features allow us to customize our app to what we need. \* Ask a Question allows the audience to participate in a panel discussion by submitting their question on the app, and a moderator could display the question for the audience to see. Allowed us to get to the real questions from attendees.

Cons

\*It does rely on users downloading the app and having access to wifi or wireless data. Some conference centers have poor cell reception. We had issues with some participants receiving notifications if they were in areas with poor cell reception. \*Sometimes people with poor tech skills struggle with the app. They have a hard time seeing how the data is interconnected. They want to see an easy "at a glance" schedule, rather than one with all the details (rooms, speakers, etc). \*Our event is for teens, and not all teens have smartphones - it does require the use of a smartphone to work.

### "Good platform, great customer service"

We have drastically reduced our paper agenda print outs by using the app for the agenda. This also helps in our last minute changes. We are still looking for increasing the ROI for any sponsors who want to further utilize the app. Any time I have an issue or I'm curious about another event's app, my CSM is more than happy to walk through with me. Love that it is almost always a call instead of a link to a help page.

Pros

EventMobi's integration with Swoogo is definitely a high point. We also like the basic functionality and look forward to expanding our app for increased use.

Cons

The "onsite"/ lead capture app should not be a secondary app that my exhibitors have to download in addition to my event app. With the unique identifier for each user, it should be possible to partition the event app to include the lead capture for only those people designated as exhibitors/sponsors.

Excellent experience. Sales and customer service was outstanding. On-line tools, support and instructions for app build, graphic specs, and end-user experience was great. It's my new go-to event app. Price reasonable for product value and quality.

Pros

The app was simple and intuitive to both build and use. Very few issues with onboarding delegates. Clean and simple visual design. All the basic features we needed and then some. Delegate feedback was very positive. Available customization was perfect.

Cons

There was some confusion for delegates in selecting the correct app from the app store. Some mistakenly selected the Eventmobi Onsite app instead of the Eventmobi general app to download and that caused issues in access the event app. But easily fixed once mistake identified. Perhaps a more clear name convention might help as it is a bit confusing.

Pros

It's easy to build on the admin front, and easy to leverage from the user/attendee side.

Cons

I wish there was a more customizable gamification option. The gamification is good, but you can't create fully open styles of challenges....yet

### "Highly functional and interactive with strong customer service"

It has been great. The staff are helpful, and it has been a great addition to our event planning capabilities as a Chamber. The ease of setting the site up and updating it is very straightforward and it really allows people to access the information much easier.

Pros

It is extremely functional and easy to use for individuals of varying technical knowledge and expertise. It is also very easy to set up and update.

Cons

Some people get confused when trying to load the web page to their home screen or download it from the app store, but that can also be attributable on some level to user error.

### "EventMobi is the only event app I'll use!"

Our clients have come to rely on EventMobi for keeping up-to-date with our event logistics and presentations. And, funny story... a colleague of mine was often complaining that our app needed to be 'improved' - that apps he used at other conferences were 'better'. But he couldn't give me anything objective to work with - his opinions were totally subjective so what could I do? Anyway, turns out the one event that he was always raving about their app switched to EventMobi! :D He still can't give me any objective feedback, but, at least now he realizes that EventMobi IS awesome and all that we need!

Pros

Eventmobi is very user friendly - from start to finish it's intuitive and easy to use - making changes is also easy - everything is fast and customizable - it's terrific!

Cons

Although I don't have a basis for comparison, this was the first event app I ever tried, I can't imagine it being improved upon and have no 'con' at all to mention!

### "Amazing Support for customization"

Good. Haven't had any experience with competition so can't compare.

Pros

Quick, real-time updates and usage. The registration process was fairly simple.

Cons

Being restricted to everything being linked to an email address.

Reason for choosing EventMobi

I was not involved in the purchasing or selection process.
