That made the event details easier to access and helped attendees manage their conference experience. The event also raised an important accessibility consideration for us. An attendee who is blind explained that the icons weren’t being announced by his screen reader. Clear labels that assistive technology can read would help blind and low-vision attendees navigate the app independently. I appreciated learning about this need and have brought it forward to our EventMobi contacts as we plan for 2027. Pros Candice Pinto and Christine Mack were supportive throughout our pre-event planning. They met with me several times and helped clarify the admin side of the platform, which made it easier to set up attendees, exhibitors, sponsors, and speakers correctly. For NEMTAC’s Transform 2026 conference in Orlando, the app was a breath of fresh air compared with our previous event apps. Attendees could view event details, build their schedules, and refer back to important information in one place. About 90% of attendees accessed the app without issues, and we plan to use EventMobi again for Transform 2027. Cons We ran into some challenges with attendee data uploads. After the initial upload, adding more attendee details resulted in duplicate records instead of updating the existing information. That created extra cleanup and data review. A small number of attendees couldn’t access the app even though their names and email addresses were correct. We worked with them to troubleshoot, but weren’t able to resolve every case, and the issue couldn’t be reproduced after the event. In a few instances, the app kept spinning during access; uninstalling and reinstalling it resolved the problem. Onsite support was also limited when we needed help. Their customer support team is fantastic. Ultra-responsive, checked in to make things were running smoothly after an issue - top notch! In fact, everyone I dealt with seemed to enjoy their job and genuinely care about the success of our event as it related to their product. Cons There were a few hiccups - nothing major. We just tried out their Event Attendee Management and badge printing system and it is life changing. That used to be the most stressful part of our conference for me and it breezed by this year. I am also the type of person who doesn't like to let control go of processes but the team walked me through each step and was there to answer any question I had no matter how inane. Pros Ease of use and ability to learn the software quickly and without any issue. Anyone in the office is able to create and update in the software regardless of experience. The price was also a big positive as we are a not-for-profit organization, we are able to look like the big companies out there without breaking our budget. Cons Its honestly not a big deal, but having to use two separate apps for a branded event app and a lead capture app instead of having them integrated into one and access given to each based on status is a mild inconvenience if you can even call it that. Cons I wish the confirmation email could display the information the attendee entered during registration. Editing in a second language is limited. When a ticket is sold out it does not automatically disappear, and I would like the option to show a custom message. From day one, they’ve been extraordinary — always available, responsive, and supportive, with a lot of tools for us to understand how does it work and to help the communication with our event's attendees. Before we even signed the contract, they took the time to explain everything clearly and answer all our questions in detail. And after the signature, they continued to guide us step by step to make sure we fully understood how everything worked. Pros EventMobi allows a lot of diversity with design and capabilities within the software in order to provide a unique mobile app where I am able to provide only the information necessary for my conferences. I like having the ability to use Live Polls, to communicate directly with attendees throughout the conference and to update details during the event to provide the most up-to-date information at all times. Cons There is not one specific location to access all of the live polls. In order to access the live polls, attendees must go to each specific presentation which makes things a bit more difficult if attendees are not following along in their app continuously throughout each day. It was super user friendly and appreciated by everyone! Cons There is not enough caracters allowed in the chat section, we often have to send the message in multiple parts. This also helps in our last minute changes. We are still looking for increasing the ROI for any sponsors who want to further utilize the app. Any time I have an issue or I'm curious about another event's app, my CSM is more than happy to walk through with me. Love that it is almost always a call instead of a link to a help page. Pros EventMobi's integration with Swoogo is definitely a high point. We also like the basic functionality and look forward to expanding our app for increased use. Cons The "onsite"/ lead capture app should not be a secondary app that my exhibitors have to download in addition to my event app. With the unique identifier for each user, it should be possible to partition the event app to include the lead capture for only those people designated as exhibitors/sponsors. On-line tools, support and instructions for app build, graphic specs, and end-user experience was great. It's my new go-to event app. Price reasonable for product value and quality. Pros The app was simple and intuitive to both build and use. Very few issues with onboarding delegates. Clean and simple visual design. All the basic features we needed and then some. Delegate feedback was very positive. Available customization was perfect. Cons There was some confusion for delegates in selecting the correct app from the app store. Some mistakenly selected the Eventmobi Onsite app instead of the Eventmobi general app to download and that caused issues in access the event app. But easily fixed once mistake identified. After using it for two years, we have to keep thinking of new ways to keep them engaged. Getting point for completing a profile or post a pic would be great.
