Additionally, it isn't done often. Employees are diverted from their primary tasks whenever an office tool is in motion since they must learn how to use this management tool. I seen several of these tools, and they took 15-20 minutes and had a lot of deceptive features. Even if it was my first time, I could have learned how to manage my inventory with this programme in 3 to 5 minutes. Cons The web layout still needs some work to make it more user-friendly. Pros Easy to use phone App and good decent looking WebUI for the Backend. The map with locations was especially useful for us. Cons Sadly, it doesn't allow me to compare custom fields to trigger reports. i.e. I wish it would allow me to compare Odometer readings to Next Service requirements so that I could run reports on vehicles that are due for service. No software is a perfect solution for every organization but for our needs, EZO has been a great tool for us to track the equipment assigned to our 600+ employees. Pros The ability to easily see which employees have been assigned which Assets makes the management of equipment for onboarding/offboarding much simpler. The ability to provision Members via our Azure AD allows for an easy automation. The ease of checking things in and out via the App or the ZenDesk integration has saved us time but also dramatically increased the accuracy of our records. Cons Checking In Asset Stock from a specific user could be improved. With the ZenDesk Integration and the App, there is no search function within the list of check out records. You must use ctrl+f in the browser to find a specific member or scroll through the list. In my instance, when I create a custom view of the list of Items, the column widths seem to auto adjust and it cuts off some of the columns that I've selected to view. The simple nature of adding a new unit to our inventory, the ease of checking in and out items and how simple it is to locate a missing asset cannot be overstated. We, as a team, have not have had any issues with EZOffice, and our jobs are made more efficient because of it. Cons EZOffice does what we need it to do and it does it well. Our staff can easily use the QR code scanning feature on their devices to check out inventory, tools, or assets. They love the ability to check out up to 25 items at once which expedites the process. We also can reserve items for future jobs and set those aside so no jobs get disrupted from not having all the products needed to get the job done. We are able to easily move items in EZOfficeInventory from one location to the other when inventory is added or moved. I inherited the software at my previous company and when I moved companies I made sure I introduced it we started off with 30 assets and are now looking to increase to over 2000. I'm sure there are more complex systems out there for the nicjhe asset tracking but as an everyday tracking software for small or large asset list I would choose this software over the others I trailled on the market., Pros It user friendly customisations options are really key to the success of its use within our company. We are able to add and custom fields for certain product groups to make the software suit various items we have from equipment calibration dates with automatic reminders of expiry to job numbers consumables are used on and charged to. Four different departments use the software to track consumables, high value stock items, plant and test equipment, with the separate views we can all work simultaneously on the same account without affecting each others assets. For the price you cant go wrong if you are looking to track assets in an office, warehouse or construction site environment. Cons Took us a while to get the reporting function finalised so that we could get the required output but with some trial and error and a few customer service calls it now does what we need. Reason for choosing EZO Firstly the price was a huge incentive to test it and the functionality and ability to customise it was what made us stick with it and increase its use within the company to cover more than the intended scope. January 13, 2021 5.0 Pros The software is extremely easy to learn and use. My organization uses the software to keep track of all our of high value assets. EZOfficeInventory makes it easy for us to checkout and track who we have assigned our assets to and where they are. Entering our assets was extremely simple and I am very happy with the ability to customize the software to my requirements. The EZOfficeInventory support team is very knowledgeable and always quick to respond when the need for help arises. Cons A con for me, which may be a pro for others, was that there are a plethora of options for customization. Some of the options are not clearly detailed in the knowledge base and lead to having to go through some trial and error to get some desired customization working. Besides this small con, the software works great.
