They are patient with my not so tech savvy self. Pros Its very user friendly for the learners. Its easy to teach power users how to assign courses and manage enrollments. It integrates with shopify seamlessly. Cons From an admin standpoint, I am not the most tech savvy person. I find the amount of options on the back end to be a lot - but I wouldn't say it's a problem. The support team always walks me through any struggles I have. Cons We have just gotten started. We have discovered some functionality is limited and some of the reporting is limited. June 18, 2026 5.0 We've been using SkyPrep LMS since 2013, almost around the time of the company's founding when it was only a start-up. Great folks to work with. Over the years, they've added a ton of features and expanded their offerings across the board for both regular learner and administrative users. I have nothing but positive things to say. SkyPrep is good for small to medium organizations that do not have a dedicated educator/LMS administrator. It's quick and intuitive to set-up courses, user groups, and curriculums (or learning paths as they're called). Pros Skyprep is a great cost effective solution for anyone who needs to install a LMS program for onboarding, compliance training, annual renewals, etc. It is entirely web-based. There's very little administrative overhead. If you have an Azure tenant with O365 accounts, that can easily be integrated with their sign-in system for SSO. Customer and technical support is usually very responsive (i.e. you'll see same hour replies). Interface is simple and intuitive. Cons Nothing in particular to add. If you have a self-enrollment program, sometimes it can can lend itself to creating erroneous, non-valid accounts. If there was a simple way to also merge duplicate accounts and consolidate course/learning progression that would be wonderful. Maybe one day? I feel proficient after using it only a few months. Their support is good as well. Pros The ease of creating courses. I found the settings within course creation helpful as well, and the ability to create assessments is key too. Cons The messaging feature is troubling to me because I never know if the message went out. I also am not sure how best to set the automated reminders for the course. SkyPrep has really helped us step up our game! We can now support our clients, both internal and external, with a more robust platform and much better reporting. I would absolutely recommend SkyPrep without hesitation to any of my colleagues in the L&D sector. Pros The SkyPrep staff are super easy to deal with, and it's a great product with an easy UI. For the price, if offers great functionality. It's also super easy to configure. Cons Nothing; our experience has been, and continues to be, very positive. The amount of customer technical issues has dropped over 90% from our last system, and honestly, the ones that remain are typically user error and things out of SkyPrep's control. They don't over complicate it, are friendly, reasonable and happy to meet the needs of customers that do things a little differently. Pros Setting up courses compared to other systems we have used in the past (I demo'd several before settling on this, and this was our 4th LMS system over the past decade) was SUPER easy! While our unique requirements did require some specific adjustments, they were very eager to assist and made the process pretty seamless. Additionally, they provided us with video calls where they would walk me through certain settings and setup to make sure everything met our specific needs. I was able to upload a course, create quizzes and have it almost fully to our custom settings often times in under an hour! Cons They don't have 24 hour customer support which does make it a little harder if there is a tech issue after hours or on a holiday (they observe American & Canadian holidays which can lead to 4 days of no service after a weekend), BUT if there is a major system shutdown they will still be responsive, and luckily, we really don't have any system issues. I would just make sure to avoid timing your initial rollout over their holidays as support will be limited if you experience a learning curve. Talent was more expensive and way more complicated than it needed to be. Switched from [iSpring LMS](https://www.capterra.com/p/144871/iSpring-Learn/) We had LOTS of technical issues and glitches in the system. Login instructions were constantly not being received by clients (this issue has pretty much disappeared with skyprep) and their customer service could not fix anything from the backend. They couldn't login to see the issue and just required extensive testing on my part. In 3 years, I don't think they ever fixed an issue; I just had to find a workaround. Review Source TG Taleaa G. The versatility of the system and the fast, efficient support when questions arise is priceless when operating in a fast-paced, high stress environment. As a manager and director, with training as a primary responsibility in both organizations, I would recommend SkyPrep to anyone that has a need to create, deploy, and track training across a wide organizational network. Pros The most appealing aspects of SkyPrep is the manner in which we were able to immediately begin using the LMS across our company once we teamed up with SkyPrep. Within 24 hours we had multiple courses uploaded and had learners completing coursework. As a company that is primarily comprised of remote employees, this platform exceeded all of our wants. Even the most skeptical within the organization have realized the value and versatility of the platform. Cons While I don't have any "cons" per say... it would be helpful if the platform had the ability to create and track training and safety audit type checklists (related to the courses in the system) that could be assigned and completed based on individual roles, performed monthly on a recurring basis, and then tracked to determine training course efficiency. Reason for choosing SkyPrep I am not aware of an alternative that was considered. I recommended SkyPrep to my organization, and within a month we were up and running with the platform. No mandatory phone conference/interview just to find out what it costs. Efficient sales process. Before my first phone call with the sales rep, they provided me links to YouTube videos detailing their capabilities, which greatly minimized the time required with the sales team to understand exactly what they offer. They were the only LMS I researched that did this and didn't hide their costs until the end. Extremely user friendly platform to administer and use that includes built-in course authoring tools. Meets all of our needs to provide internally developed online course ware in several formats. A course catalog and means for purchasing course ware from external content vendors is also integrated into the LMS. The staff are very responsive, outstanding to work with and very helpful when needed. They are also proactive and have solicited feedback about what next upgrades to their platform we would most like to see. If/when they get to some of those I'll easily give them full marks for functionality and features. It is very important to us that we are able to apply systematic and consistent information to all 7 of our dental offices. SkyPrep has allowed us to do so, and has made it a very simple process. It's easy to set up, easy to make changes, and easy to track our employees' progress. It's also very user-friendly for the staff completing their training courses. We love it! Pros The software is very user-friendly and has been extremely easy to set up and implement. Cons I wish there was a feature to replace videos in the Resource Center. Often times our videos require updating, and it would be wonderful if we could easily replace a video, like we do with a document, without having to delete it, upload a new one, and add it back into all appropriate courses. This has given us more control regarding user security and content management. Additionally, due to the COVID-19 pandemic a variety of face-to-face education events had to move to a virtual platform. If we did not have SkyPrep we would not have been able to turn those events around as quickly and successfully as we were able to. Pros Very simple to use from both an administrative and end user perspective. I have trained multiple people within my organization in different business units on how to add users, setup courses, and add content and all have stated it is very intuitive compared to other products on the market. Additionally, if any questions ever to arise the SkyPrep team is always just a quick phone call or email away with a prompt response. Cons In some cases, user management is difficult due to constraints in the bulk user upload interface. The reporting feature can sometimes feel a little "clunky" and takes a few tries to really identify the components needed to get the data you are looking for. We've had young adults all the way to seniors using Skyprep and it has helped with giving people flexibility with how fast or slow they want their training to be. It's fairly easy to manage and we're looking at additional ways to use it in our company. Customer support has always been good and unlike other software we use, we haven't had much issues with Skyprep at all so we've been consistently happy with it. Pros Skyprep is fairly easy to use and pick up, and flexible with customization. You can upload several types of files. Cons We had very basic reporting which isn't as helpful for fine tuning reports, but we are hoping more advanced reporting will allow us an easier time. " July 16, 2020 5.0 Pros It is a very user friendly software both on the admin and learner side. After a quick training with our contact, \[SENSITIVE CONTENT HIDDEN\], we were comfortable setting our platform and releasing courses to our staff. It was extremely easy to set up our platform and create accounts for our event staff. They have a bulk upload template for creating users that saves a lot of time. It allows us to upload a wide variety of documents, videos, etc. that make it very easy to create courses. Their assessment creation system is very straightforward and easy to navigate. We love to use their analytic tools that are included with the platform. After just a few clicks the system creates very useful spreadsheets or diagrams that can be used to review course analytics. Overall, Skyprep is a super beneficial tool and we love working with them! Cons Skyprep has just released their first gamification update, which we are excited to use, but would like to see more additions to this in the future like adding in games, leader boards, etc. that we can use to engage our staff more.
