BigTime's live chat feature is fantastic because of how quickly you can get a response. The interface is quite simple to use. When I need to submit my timesheet, I always turn to BigTime, and I've never had any trouble with it locking up on me or taking too long to load or reload the website.

Pros

BigTime makes keeping track of time and money very easy.It provides smooth interaction with QuickBooks Online.With BigTime, it's easy to organize your day and keep track of your projects.

Cons

The developer has adopted the idea that fixing all known operational faults will boost business productivity and open the door to future modifications.

### "BT for Android Users Support Sucks"

Basically, as a high-end Android user (Fold 5 1 TB), it sucks. My partners which are I-guys have no problem with the upgraded app unlike me. Through emails I was "told" that it works fine on a Galaxy S23 if memory serves correctly. So, I dug up a retired Note 20 which does not work either. I have asked, of course via delayed email correspondence since communication with real people cannot be accomplished with this group, if some type of "remote in" to my phone could be done to troubleshoot. Nope.

Pros

It is good for people on the road frequently to capture time and expenses real time. H

Cons

It seems to cater to IPhone users for mobile application. As an Android user (Fold 5), the upgrade app does not work. After months of back and forth via emails no solution reached. There is no in-person telephone support to obtain a solution.

Through the BigTime Wallet, sending and receiving invoices is a breeze. BigTime has improved the speed with which we are paid. The fact that it integrates with Quickbooks makes billing a breeze. Using BigTime wallet, you can get paid much more quickly.

Pros

It's simple to use, and the help desk service is excellent. Brittany U. and I got on a Zoom session to discuss the problem, and we were able to address it quickly. You can count on an immediate response from the support team, or at least a prompt reply.

Cons

Until the features are explained in greater detail, they may be difficult to use. Is there a way to add files or links to external files to a project? Not yet, at least.

We are using BigTime to handle our expenses and our projects. We've been having some money problems, and our finance department had been using Divvy before they found BigTime. While Divvy did provide us with a bird's-eye view of our spending, BigTime provided us with a glimpse as well as other, more in-depth insights into our expense management challenges.

Pros

You'll be able to teach your coworkers how to use BigTime in no time at all thanks to its straightforward design and user-friendliness. In addition, they sent us materials that taught us how to use the program.

Cons

It's possible to spend a lot of money on BigTime. Since the plan we could afford for BigTime didn't include most of the capabilities we required, we had to cancel certain low-priority projects in order to use BigTime to its full potential.

Our company used BigTime before, and I really miss it compared to the new CRM. One of the best parts about BigTime is that it would save all your entries so you don't have to constantly be updating it with the same information. The categories were also more straightforward and easier to navigate

Cons

It would have been nice to have the entries be that much more user friendly. Maybe have options to mark a client/entry as optional so I don't have to erase categories. Also allow click and drag to move entries.

In our month of using BigTime, our experience has been wonderful! Our Customer Success Manager is AMAZING! We ran into some logging in issues for a team member and she jumped right on getting it fixed for us! The software has been so beneficial for Project Management in the month we have been using it. We still have a training session left with our CSM at BigTime to learn more features it offers and we cannot wait to learn what else it has to offer!

Pros

That it is so customizable from just about every feature it offers. Easy to use. Intregrates with QuickBooks. The white glove service from our customer success manager, \[SENSITIVE CONTENT HIDDEN\]. All of the report options and customizations Project Management and tracking on all aspects of a project. The Knowledge based section for finding information on how to use features.

Cons

That you cannot change the Project Fee to say Project Budget. This is just a preferred naming system for our company though, so not the end of the world that we could not change this.

Reason for choosing BigTime

BigTime is a very useful program. I suggest it without a second thought. You can control everything with very big ease and the very imortant is that you know at any time you have next to you the support team to answer all your queries and solve all your problems. Is my pleasure to use BigTime.

Pros

BigTime program can do it all, you can use it for project management modules, time tracking, expenses, resource allocation and finances. Very friendly for use program. Can have integration with WIP tracking and other programs. The 24/7 chat support is very helpful and gently and they can answer to all of our queries.

Cons

The mobile app is very limited and it stucks very often. Except this I cannot say that I find something else negative by using BigTime.

Overall, BigTime is effective and does what we need it to do. We are happy with it. Customer Support is also really good. They are helpful, patient, and thorough.

Pros

BigTime has all the features we need to track time and expenses and automate billing. Forecasting and utilization tools are also great features which allow us to better manage staffer availability so clients are covered and staffer's aren't over worked. Reporting and analytics are very good, though there are some reporting features that could be improved

Cons

There are some idiosyncrasies that can get tiresome; date ranges disappear constantly when drafting invoices; there are features that have an adverse effect on rate population if not used properly, some internal functions clash if entered (or not entered) in multiple places, online tutorials could be better, live chat can take a very long time - i have noticed that upgrading to Premier has helped - the wait is now no more than a few minutes.

As I've said above, fee tracking and time tracking have really tightened up for our company thanks to BigTime. We're able to know the health of our projects in one click with a report.

Pros

Our small business needed a platform to help us accurately track the financial health of our projects. We moved to BigTime from QuickBooks Online because we needed deeper control of our time entries and fee tracking. The Report Center really leverages the data entered into the system so that at a push of a button your data is organized and presented in an easy to understand report. Custom reports are a great feature, and with the help of the support team you can create whatever report your company needs. Thanks to BigTime we've been able to track the health of our projects with precision, and the overall health of our company has BigTime to thank. Everyone we've worked with at BigTime (\[SENSITIVE CONTENT\]) have been extremely friendly and helpful whenever we've come to them with a problem or request.

Cons

As BigTime has grown over the years they've taken their users suggestions to heart. If a feature isn't currently active on BigTime it most likely is in the pipeline for future integration. We've seen our suggestions turn into real features throughout the duration of our use of the platform which is always great to see when companies listen to their customers. Sometimes the reporting center isn't as intuitive as you'd like it to be, but with a little help from their support team they can help custom build your reports with you.

### "Software only good at time tracking, not billing management."

This product was grossly misrepresented to me by the sales team. They don't understand the capabilities of the software and only want to make a sale. It is not a good software for me and a terrible fit. I specifically said I didn't want to have to integrate with QB and now that is the only option I have to get reports and billing invoices. It will take many hours to reconcile back to QB and at this point, it would take less time to start over with a new software.

Pros

It is easy to input time and create the invoices.

Cons

I don't like the fact that I can't generate a report of services billed. You have to integrate with another software like QB to get any information on sales by item. You can't easily see how much a client owes you without manually adding up the outstanding invoices and the credits don't apply. There is no way to generate a billing invoice in BigTime. Basically it is only useful to track time and create invoices. Also, BigTime Wallet is unreliable for depositing payments. It take more than ten days in some situations.

Reason for choosing BigTime

The sales team had the best pitch.

BigTime has changed our way of recording employees' time and invoicing our clients. Putting our time into BigTime is extremely easy for our employees. We can track projects and see productivity in real-time. This then easily translates into our invoices for quick review prior to emailing to clients. The response to the new look of our invoices has been amazing. We have been told they are so easy to review and process for payment. Several of our clients have completed the payment process on their end in a very short period of time, which has led to quicker payment to us.

Pros

The best feature of BigTime is time tracking. First, it is easy for employees to record their time. Second, it gives managers the ability to track the time their employees spend on their projects.

Cons

The only issue I have had so far is the need to refresh BigTime in a new window in order to see the changes that I made. It isn't a very big deal to have to do that. I was also told in the chat feature that using Chrome vs Edge would solve this problem. So an easy solution to a non-problem.

I appreciate the live chat feature - support readily available.

Pros

The ease of the timesheets is huge! Staff don't find it cumbersome. Then we use the timesheet detail report to show work done for the week on projects. This helps the President see where time is spent and then he advises what projects are ready for billing. The invoicing process is smooth as BT already has time spent allocated for the job and we in put and subcontractors and expenses. So all the information is in one place. The invoice can be approved right in BT and then sent to the client. Payments are logged right into BT and the BEST thing is that client/project information, invoices AND payments are ALL synced into Quickbooks. That was the selling feature for us.

Cons

We have just added BigTime Wallet - a feature allowing clients to pay invoices with a credit card or ACH just by using a link. We are just beginning to use it. Today we had some help from \[SENSITIVE CONTENT\] in figuring it out. I do wish the sales department had gotten us set up with technical support from the get-go. But we are making quick progress, again thanks to \[SENSITIVE CONTENT\].

We are able to manage multiple business lines and a variety of projects, all with unique time and expense management needs all in one place.

Pros

I like that the features are extensive and useful. It is organized in such a way that it is intuitive and easy to use. The implementation and customization has been a lengthy project, but having every possible scenario available to us for configuration has been useful.

Cons

Sometimes the features and options seem to take over. While a basic solution might have been more ideal for our current situation, the future abilities of the software to meet our changing needs will be helpful no doubt. The training has been a bit "fast paced" and feels almost rushed, but it only makes sense for BigTime to want to get the implementation completed as soon as possible.

Overall, I love the interface, I love the easy of use, and I love the support. Even without being fully functional yet, we are getting a lot of raves from staff who appreciate the ease of approvals, the easy to use timesheet, and the functionality.

Pros

The timesheet module is amazingly easy. Since this is where the bulk of my team are working, it made roll out super easy. The system is over all generally very intuitive and user friendly. It's also pretty idiot proof and its not easy to mess things up. Invoice creation is outstanding, with a ton of options and features. But the best part is their support team. They have worked so hard to ensure we have a product that meets ALL of out needs. Our implementation and training with BigTime has been the best I've ever worked with in my career.

Cons

Right now, it's a little buggy and they are still implementing and adjusting certain things. The fundamentals are there, but it's obviously still newer software.

Overall BigTime is a good system that works for what it is suppose to and is simple to use for someone that knows how to use a computer. We have been able to track hours against certain projects by person which helps us with cost estimating. I am sure there are plenty of good systems out there but I have been satisfied for my responsibility when using BigTime.

Pros

The ability to pull out job lists with titles is very convenient for having team review meetings. You are able to pull out most reports into excel and filter and sort from there. Having the task status is very useful for those who utilize that feature. My office does not take full advantage of the capabilities this system offers but does work for us when being used.

Cons

For the new Gantt chart feature I have not been able to use very much but am disappointed it is not able to be exported into excel like the other reports. The difficulty with this system is that it is only as good as your weakest link. For my office enforcing full participation is difficult and that prevents us from taking full advantage. I do not work in accounting but apparently it does not sync as well as it used to for quick books and other software. This makes work duplicated on that end which is really inconvenient. Another item that is irritating is when pulling complete job list you have to do it a certain way or else it will not pull old jobs that you were not listed as team member for. That caused some confusion/concern during review meetings.

My company is able to use Bigtime for time and job management. All of our employees utilize it and is pretty user friendly. Customer support is extremely important to me and I have been working with representative who is the Manager for Customer Success and she has been great to work with! Without her support I would not have been able to learn how to utilize all of the functions that are beneficial for our business. I look forward to continuing to work with representative with helping me grow my knowledge of the software and utilize all of the great functions Bigtime has to offer. Thank you representative!

I like the functionality and how we were able to have some custom features made that are helpful for my job/company and how we use Bigtime.

Cons

I don't like that there are some advanced features offered but they are not completely working when I try to set them up.
