I used Easyredmine in my previous mission at EGO in Italy on European project and continu with future Einstein Telescope for Gravitational Wave experiment. The goal is to configure and manage a global international project with more than 200 subprojects automatically updated in one real time schedule. In this way we manage strong accompagnement and training session.

Pros

The capability to customise the tool and to have the possibility to optimise the features of Easyredmine to answer of our specific request

Cons

In contrario, have this powerful customisation needs to understand all features menus and we need absolutly to have a strong support for initial configuration. The templates has so important to have in final a standard configuration for all projects that we manage

Very good support interface, capability to test all configuration with very simple licence access without a complicated initial configuration of the product

Good for evidence & project tracking, and we are also using attendance.

We are more filed operation company, sometimes not so flexible and mobile app not so useful better over web.

A great tool with a broad range of features that allows me to run multiple projects and programs.

Pros

As delivered it allows for administration and setup with the minimum of overhead and can be done by a non expert. Being cloud based it removes much of the admin overhead of running the implementation keeping running costs low. It is easy to configure to tune to meet our specific needs

Cons

The tool can offer too many ways to do the same job which can be confusing to some people. Although this provides great flexibility it means it is harder to deal with documenting and training

Pros

I like that we can host easy redmine behind our firewall to satisfy strict client and gdpr requirements while still using hybrid project methods, sla alerts, resource charts, and transparent time tracking in a single, consistent system that keeps everyone aligned.

Cons

I think documentation for advanced reporting could go deeper and a few icons feel old school, so building custom dashboards takes extra clicks until you learn the quirks. Support usually replies with concrete steps that bridge the gaps quickly

Pros

We love that easy redmine installs behind our firewall, satisfies strict gdpr rules, yet still gives us hybrid agile-waterfall planning, customizable sla tracking, time sheets, resource load charts, and one-click exports for finance—basically the power of bigger suites with none of the cloud anxiety.

Cons

We haven’t stumbled over any show-stoppers, yet the overall interface favours practicality over polish and modern aesthetics; icons, colour themes, and page layouts feel early-2010s, which occasionally makes power users hunt around for the right buttons even though the underlying functions are solid.

After a deep search, we found that the Easy Redmine is the best solution to have in our group of companies. This is due to the fact it meets our requirement in terms of: 1. Improve Project Management Experience. 2. Enhance Competitiveness between the group of companies and the users as well. 3. Modernize Business Processes and Systems. 4. Cutting cost and open license solution. 5. Increase Operating Efficiency. There is a greater need to provide accurate, comprehensive portfolio management reporting of performance. This cannot be achieved from the current MS Project, wrike.com or any other similar software... We found Easy Redmine is the best solution.

Pros

Users recognize a significant increase in effficiency after implementation to get a higher efficiency. The User Interface is much more friendly, attractive and very easy to use. Handling more projects in less time is the main focus of several customers, Easy Redmine is helping to increase the productivity. we recognized that the purchase is worthy and no further hesitate to be honest.

Cons

Until now, I don't see any Cons in the software...

The software Easy Redmine is a great tool, however, it may take a little getting used to. But when you do, a world of possibilities is opened.

We have been using Redmine for well over a decade. It's one of the best Open Source Project tools out there... It's fast, flexible and highly customizable. Imagine you took Redmine with just about every useful plugin and rolled it into a single piece of software and then added a few unique plugins, the best Gantt Chart around, a great mobile interface and fantastic customer support... That pretty much describes EasyRedmine. We've been using it for a couple years on several projects and are now working towards migrating all of our projects to it. Although we've experienced a few minor problems along the way the support staff at EasyRedmine have been extremely responsive and dealt with problems very quickly. Likewise, we are always pleasantly surprised as new versions bring cool new features and general improvements to it's usability. Need I say more? Check it out. You will not regret it.

We use Easy Redmine for a variety of projects (operational, financial, software development, and BI, for example). The system is flexible and easy to configure. The implementation and data migration phases went very well and we have had great support throughout the process. Using Easy Redmine has given management visibility into our projects that we did not have before (status of project, backlogs, where our resources are utilized, etc.). Although we requested some custom development early on, for the most part, Easy Redmine met our needs out of the box. The product is feature rich and the price is low compared to products with similar features. We are satisfied with the performance of the product and would not hesitate to choose it again.

Easy Redmine was easy installed by the support is a really useful programm. he core Features are working properly. Interaktive Gantt-Chart "Easy Gantt" replaces the normal Redmine Gantt which had some problems for us. The mobile app could have some more improvements, but it's useful for the things it does. German translations could be a little bit improved at some points, but it does not prevent the right use. All together for the price it's a really good programm. If there are better programms out there i bet they cost a multiple.

The good points include all the built in plug ins that are well integrated for project management. I liked the Agile board plug in plus documents feature most. Also the sequence for tasks is good to use. Resource management and Cost estimation features are also very useful as no separate excel has to be maintained for the same. Improvement areas are Customer support as sometimes follow up is required which could be avoided by timely response.
