The real value for money at my side starts when I put 1$ in and get at least 10$ out. With OptiMonks kickass premade popup templates I’ve made so powerful campaigns (no design skills at all, I’ve grown up on Canva 😀),​ that it’s crushed my ROI. With the FREE trial, it’s a real no brainer. Pros Tons of free templates, outstanding design, powerful triggering settings. I've tried a couple of alternatives, but this one is delightful 👌 Cons The only thing I’m missing is the built-in​ embedded forms function. I know people have gotten great results with Optimonk so I am looking forward to split testing (they have that option) and finding the right match for our audience. Pros Starting out with the templates, I loved the variety of choices offered. Many industries were covered and different methods of email capturing were available, from game-like spin the wheel, to personalized questions (which is what we chose). Cons Although it was fun to set up, our conversions haven't increased as significantly as we had thought, compared to our previous popup software. I wonder if the ranking / sorting system is accurate and truly shows which ones have the highest conversion rate. Also, in my own testing of the results, I found that the pop-up did not come out exactly when I programmed it to. Sometimes it would take much longer than the x seconds / % scroll I chose. Pros Great to setup with wordpress. Settings and rules for targeting, appearance, lead generation, etc are very easy to implement. Support team is also great and helpful. They work closely to us to improve SEO performance within the plugin. Cons Pricing model based on pageviews can make the tool expensive, specially when you have campaigns. The pricing is calculated with the entire pageviews of the entire site. Pros Smart form display: asking Messenger opt-in instead of forcing email sign ups when the user is logged into Messenger. That’s super useful especially on mobile devices. The interface is really friendly and you don't need any technical skills and wherever technical skills are required, you can get in touch with the customer support; they will sort things out for you in a flash. So far it has been a good experience! Pros The dashboard is easy to understand and play around with Creation and implementation of campaigns is very user-friendly Creating custom form fields is also very easy All in all the user interface is really good The customer support team is a real champion - very responsive, helpful and lightning quick. Cons I use a smaller CRM system and there is no direct integration (although we can connect the 2 systems by using Zapier). The goal was to capture more of the visitors to nurture them and convert them to customers. That mission was accomplished efficiently. Pros Out of several trialed products, OptiMonk was the most user-friendly and easy to integrate. The opt-in rate doubled when compared to the previous provider. Connecting to our automation tool was seamless. Split testing of different display options was push-button simple. Cons The analytics could have been more in-depth. But what I like the most is that you can make money with Optimonk. There are lots of special features, that allow popups to be personalized and triggered at the best moment and place. Pros My business partner setup Optimonk so I don't know the specifics on it except how it works on the front end. I like how we could choose when the pop-ups happened, how often, etc. It always worked and integrated well with ActiveCampaign, Cons When I wasn't working with my partner anymore, I ultimately stopped using this software simply because I could do pop-ups for free in my Kajabi website. I prefer all-in-one solutions to simple things like this because it's too much to manage integrations and to continue to pay for each service. Pros The range of functionality on the free version alone is simply outstanding. There are so many settings to configure that there is little chance you won't find a way to configure to your perfect desires. Cons There are so many configurations possible, that you can get a little overwhlemed, and lost in the menus and submenus. Perhaps a tutorial video with an expert navigating all the menus and settings (and their effects) would be helpful.
