It gives us a clear overview of all assets, makes it easy to find what we need, and simplifies sharing both internally and with freelancers. Smart folders are especially useful for creating different views for different stakeholders. Pros I really like the clean, intuitive UI and how easy it is to customize everything to fit our brand. It’s fast even with large files, and features like smart albums, tags, and flexible metadata make it easy to structure things exactly how our team needs. Overall great value for money. Cons Nothing major so far, but we work a lot with RAW files and previews can sometimes fail or not load correctly. It would be great if preview support was more reliable and worked across more file formats. Pros We are pleased to set up a workflow for delivering images from both external and internal distributors, ensuring that all images are properly tagged and, most importantly, contain accurate metadata and information. Cons There are some areas, such as the integration between our websites and Kontainer, where the data flow is more one-way than we would prefer. However, I understand that our setup and requirements may differ from those of many other customers, so it is understandable that some processes do not fit our needs perfectly. I use it daily, so you gradually learn how to search for things efficiently—for example, always using the style number instead of the style name. Pros It’s great that you can group things and create internal systems depending on what the folders are meant to contain. Cons It can be a challenge when uploading a large batch of files. All the setbacks have been in our end. Pros I like how easy and intuitive Kontainer is to navigate. It didn't take long to get started, and managing files in the system is straightforward. The support team has also been very helpful whenever assistance has been needed. They keep integrating new features and when we ask about a feature or a workaround, they find a solution for it. Cons There are always small things you discover during a migration from an old system to a new one. So yes, there were some processes that needed to be changed compared to how we worked before, but Kontainer has been very helpful throughout the transition. Pros Simple to use, very customizable (you can upload your logo, font, so UI looks on brand). Their support team is friendly and always eager to help. Cons Some features, like marking expired images, which we used to have on the previous platform and were very useful, are not currently available in Kontainer. Cons Kontainer fits all my needs. At first there can take some time to learn how to navigate it, however, I'd say it is quite intuitive. I'm not the one who set up our company's Kontainer though, so I cannot comment on how easy or difficult the actual setup is. We have divisions / stores located across the country, with varying levels of technical expertise. Kontainer is easy to use and accessible for everyone. Pros We have been using Kontainer for just over a year, and it has made a significant difference for us in terms of structure and overview, time savings, faster workflows, and stronger collaboration across our divisions. We would especially like to highlight: - User-friendly system with a clean and functional interface. - Excellent and practical design features, including font and color presets, the ability to create professional landing pages, folder design customization, and more. - The setup of automatic file tagging, based on data from our PIM system, making it possible to quickly find assets that previously required extensive searching. - The ability to control access to content and manage user permissions. - Easy sharing and downloading of content, with the ability to crop assets before download. - Fast, personal, and highly professional support from the Kontainer team. Cons Upload and download speeds could be improved. But we have not experienced many issues, and any challenges we have encountered have either been resolved with support from the Kontainer team or addressed through product updates. We have discussed with the Kontainer team our wish for improvements to the InDesign plugin, particularly the addition of more information and data within the plugin window. Would recommend. \[sensitive content hidden\] and the team provide fantastic client support. Kontainer is versatile and user-friendly as a digital asset management platform. Pros Usability and ease of use. Customer support is brilliant, extremely responsive and friendly team who are a pleasure to work with. We did an initial trial with them first, fully tested the product and their service and responsiveness was brilliant. They also gave us a charity discount. Then, we also used their support to import our assets to Kontainer. They were flexible and worked with us to do this effectively. Kontainer is a well-designed product with a strong UI and UX experience for users in being able to search, filter and manage assets and their related data. Cons A few limitations of use, but we overcame with some custom tech development. Their product roadmap means that they also wish to iterate and improve Kontainer too in a way that will benefit all customers. Limitations mainly around consent management and the ability to have more than one internal department accessing the same Kontainer account and the implications in set-up, ongoing management etc. Review Source JS Jacob S. Although we're not an e-commerce business, it's very useful in our daily work for all departments. And the most important is that it is easy to use and very intuitive. Cons It would be great to have more tracking capabilities for who downloads content in order to know who are our best customers and who are more interested in our brand. We had a very old fashion platform before and this is much better for us and our customers. Pros I really like that you're able to quickly download the images in specific formats. Really helpful for our own B2C webshop and socials, but also in order to be able to quickly share correct formats with our B2B customers. It's easy to manoeuvre the website and it is very customizable, so it can look like an extension of our own webshop in terms of graphic design. Cons The learning curve can be steep if you're not a native tech user. You need to know where to look and how to set up for example the trail for a quick download type. But luckily, the customer service is quick and helpful if in need. Pros What I love about Kontainer is, first of all, that the system is very intuitive to use. And if problems arise, their service is almost always available within a short time. Very helpful. The system also has many templates you can use in terms of page setups - and the design is very Scandinavian and clear. Cons I don't have anything negative to say about Kontainer at this time.
