It gives us a clear overview of all assets, makes it easy to find what we need, and simplifies sharing both internally and with freelancers. Smart folders are especially useful for creating different views for different stakeholders. Pros I really like the clean, intuitive UI and how easy it is to customize everything to fit our brand. It’s fast even with large files, and features like smart albums, tags, and flexible metadata make it easy to structure things exactly how our team needs. Overall great value for money. Cons Nothing major so far, but we work a lot with RAW files and previews can sometimes fail or not load correctly. It would be great if preview support was more reliable and worked across more file formats. All the setbacks have been in our end. Pros I like how easy and intuitive Kontainer is to navigate. It didn't take long to get started, and managing files in the system is straightforward. The support team has also been very helpful whenever assistance has been needed. They keep integrating new features and when we ask about a feature or a workaround, they find a solution for it. Cons There are always small things you discover during a migration from an old system to a new one. So yes, there were some processes that needed to be changed compared to how we worked before, but Kontainer has been very helpful throughout the transition. I use it daily, so you gradually learn how to search for things efficiently—for example, always using the style number instead of the style name. Pros It’s great that you can group things and create internal systems depending on what the folders are meant to contain. Cons It can be a challenge when uploading a large batch of files. The system doesn’t notify you when 100% of the files have been uploaded, which means some files may fail to upload without you realizing it. Review Source GM Gabija M. It turned out to be much better - easier to use, faster, and feels fresh and on-brand. Also, their support team is great - friendly & fast. Pros Simple to use, very customizable (you can upload your logo, font, so UI looks on brand). Their support team is friendly and always eager to help. Cons Some features, like marking expired images, which we used to have on the previous platform and were very useful, are not currently available in Kontainer. However, there are workarounds for that. Centralising all information and sharing it in an easy, intuitive and attractive way. Pros We've been working with Kontainer (PIM and DAM) for over a year now, and what we value most is its ease of use. It allows us to organise ourselves quickly and efficiently when sharing information between all the company's teams: sales, marketing, production, and also with external collaborators. The platform stands out for its careful design, which helps us share visual material in a more professional and personalised way for each client. This reinforces our brand image and the experience we offer. The Kontainer team is very helpful and has supported us in all the necessary integrations with our systems, always ensuring a smooth adaptation to our needs. Cons Integrations with Magento 2 are more complicated than with any other system, but this has not been a major inconvenience. I'm not the one who set up our company's Kontainer though, so I cannot comment on how easy or difficult the actual setup is. In order to speed up your download, if using a Kontainer download template, would be to activate the "Keep embedded color profiles". By doing this, you skip some time rendering, as the system remembers your presets. Depending on the types and number of files, obviously, the download speed may vary due to the server capacity, but we do our best to keep it at full speed all the time. LB Laura B. We had a very old fashion platform before and this is much better for us and our customers. Pros I really like that you're able to quickly download the images in specific formats. Really helpful for our own B2C webshop and socials, but also in order to be able to quickly share correct formats with our B2B customers. It's easy to manoeuvre the website and it is very customizable, so it can look like an extension of our own webshop in terms of graphic design. Cons The learning curve can be steep if you're not a native tech user. You need to know where to look and how to set up for example the trail for a quick download type. But luckily, the customer service is quick and helpful if in need.
