The structure is clear, it's quick to find what you need, and new users get up to speed fast. It saves us a lot of back-and-forth with sending files manually. Cons Some features take a bit of time to discover, and search and filtering could be a little more flexible when working with large amounts of assets. Pros It’s great that you can group things and create internal systems depending on what the folders are meant to contain. Cons It can be a challenge when uploading a large batch of files. So yes, there were some processes that needed to be changed compared to how we worked before, but Kontainer has been very helpful throughout the transition. Pros We have been using Kontainer for just over a year, and it has made a significant difference for us in terms of structure and overview, time savings, faster workflows, and stronger collaboration across our divisions. We would especially like to highlight: - User-friendly system with a clean and functional interface. - Excellent and practical design features, including font and color presets, the ability to create professional landing pages, folder design customization, and more. - The setup of automatic file tagging, based on data from our PIM system, making it possible to quickly find assets that previously required extensive searching. - The ability to control access to content and manage user permissions. - Easy sharing and downloading of content, with the ability to crop assets before download. - Fast, personal, and highly professional support from the Kontainer team. Cons Upload and download speeds could be improved. But we have not experienced many issues, and any challenges we have encountered have either been resolved with support from the Kontainer team or addressed through product updates. We have discussed with the Kontainer team our wish for improvements to the InDesign plugin, particularly the addition of more information and data within the plugin window. Many functions and resources I can find and teach myself. The platforms graphic design is simple and not overloaded. Especially Kontainers bulk upload/download options make life easier. And whenever help is needed our key account manager responds quick and has a tailor made solution at hand. Cons Whatever customisation you wish, its possible to implement. But only through our key account manager though. So not many options to build or play around yourself. Cons Sometimes it is unsure how long a jobline takes, there could be similar as the system error box a box that says how long it will approximately take for a jobline. I think its made filing imagery so much faster and smoother for our wider team who work with our images on a range of projects. Pros You can download images into different sizes/formats and cross reference/file things well. I appreciate how much we can upload, and high res files can be stored. I love being able to type words and find our full archive in very fast efficient time. Everything loads so clearly and fast and that we can cross reference images by different categories. It's important that while we, as administrators, have at lot of options, the end-user must get a simple overview, and I feel like Kontainer really succeeded in that. Pros I like the customization possibilities and how user-friendly it is. I also appreciate being able to assign specific permissions and share links that include those same permission settings. Cons The customization features feel a bit rigid and set in their ways. I’d really like more freedom and flexibility in that area, so I can tailor things more to my preferences. I would also love to see a "schedule" function, so I can pre-make the folders, and then schedule when they are visible for everyone.
