We have introduced a packaging tracking feature to use reusable packaging. It's been a success! Pros

This software is so user friendly: it is really intuitive, modern and innovative. Fit for a 21st century business.

Cons

Like with every software there can be some challenges or "Bugs" and this is stressful and disruptive. However in the 5 years that we have been working with Mountain Stream, we have always found a quick solution to ensure that our customers and team do not suffer. I recall 2 incidents that we quickly got under control.

We have been using Mountain Stream for over 10 years. It has helped our business grow and adapt. The team is quick to response to questions and helps fix mistakes that we have made quickly to minimize the impact on our operations. The platform is simple and intuitive to use that allows us to quickly train staff and onboard new accounts.

Pros

The customer support and constant improvements to the product. The support team is top notch. The platform has been evolving over the ten year that we have been utilizing the platform. It is easy to use for new bakeries getting started but also covers more complex tasks that are needed as your business evolves.

Cons

More integrations into different platforms would be helpful. It ties into key ones like Xero and Quickbooks but there are so many different integrations that would amplify the Mountain Stream software platform.

overall software is very good and easy to use once you get used to the layout and where things are. we don't use all of the features but the ones we do work well, As we are based in the UK sometimes the support can be abit slow due to the time difference, but when they do respond they are quick to fix issues. the interface is dated on desktop, but the mobile version has been upgraded and is much better, and I know the desktop version is in the works for a visual upgrade, if you run a bakery and need some bakery specific software this is a very good choice and \[sensitive content hidden\] and his time are great, we highly recommended the product.

We started with Streamline just after Covid hit in 2020, and it was the best decision ever, in terms of efficiency, and cost effectiveness.

Pros

We are using it for our Wholesale Business with our daily orders from our clients who place their own orders and for our retail stores who order daily to our central bakery, we are 100% satisfied and the reactivity of the support team is key.

Cons

The recipe module is not so user friendly, but the team lists to feedback and they are continuously improving.

This software saved my life in a time where my business grew exponentially and I could no longer continue to do things manually. We put in the time to get it up in running rather quickly, I have wondered why I didn't do it sooner. If there are any glitches, questions, concerns, software modifications, anything I need customer support on, I have always been able to reach help quickly and efficiently. It's incredible to reach a person that speaks your language and understands your business and it's needs.

Pros

As my wholesale bakery business grew it was important to streamline the ordering process from my various customers and for my staff. The reports generated from the orders keep all aspects of the business organized. Each item and quantity ordered are clearly displayed with daily reports generated. Customers can see your entire menu catalogue with pricing. Importing invoices to my accounting software saves me hours of clerical work.

Cons

Initial setup was time consuming for me because I had been doing things manually since the inception of the business. I have not had the time/opportunity to explore all the features the software has to offer. I do wish I could modify invoices after they are published instead of going through the credit process (which I have not learned how to do!)

Could not ask for a better extension of our team to grow and successfully manage the business. There are a few key providers in our industry for this type of system but Mountain Stream is worth every penny...

Pros

We had outgrown our in-house designed spreadsheet management system for orders and production management. Over the course of six months we reviewed multiple systems but one stood out above and beyond the rest - - Mountain Stream. The system is intuitive and easy to navigate but the willingness of our sales team to have us try it out for a couple months with no commitment was massive. We spent lots of hours stress testing (we did try to push it to the limits -- but the solution was already in the program) the system to ensure it not only met our current demand but also future client requests. Gone are the manual entry errors by our team because our clients now input directly into the system. Gone are maintaining Excel links to ensure the numbers propagate. Gone are the hand written notes for delivery, packing slips are made automatically for each account. Gone are simple mistakes that drove us crazy... We have now started to input recipes to get nutritional data and manage our raw materials. There are many more capabilities but these are the ones that matter to us now. Mountain Stream is a must for anyone wanting to reduce waste and optimize the order to fulfillment process.

Cons

This is a massive program with so many features that you really need to spend time getting buy-in from your team. Updating/loading recipes, order requirements, production timing, and packing information takes a lot of time as we produce over 500 unique items. It took us a while to migrate but once we did we have never looked back.

We’ve been using Streamline at our bakery and it’s been a fantastic tool. The value for money is excellent — it saves us time every day and reduce the chance of mistakes. Their customer support is responsive and always willing to help, which makes a huge difference. The platform is very easy to use, so our team was able to get up and running quickly. Highly recommend Streamline to any bakery or food business looking to improve efficiency.

Pros

It is the backbone of the bakery, we rely on it for creating all our production reports and driver routes.It has all the feature we need as a wholesale bakery (60 to 100 stops per day)

Cons

We are so used to it, I don't see any downside, they constantly add features which is nice. There are still a lot of feature we are not using.

Sometimes it's hard to find what you're looking for because of the vast customization available. The support is usually very helpful and quick to reply.

If your current order system involves many phone calls and emails with customers and entering order information into spreadsheets the streamline system will be a revelation. We gave them a complicated brief that required a large amount of bespoke development work to be conducted. All of our goals were achieved and often the solutions provided have exceeded our expectations. The system is loved by our customers and our staff members and we absolutely could not do without it.

### "Easy and absolutely not complicated"

The first reason I started using this software was that I noticed how much time and money I spent to generate, print and send our weekly invoices, the daily production paper, the daily delivery notes. Ever since I use Streamline it is just one click and done. You can go deeper into the software and use a lot of its advantages. But you can keep it very very simple too and use only what you need. One of the best choices I have done for my business is to use Streamline.

Pros

The simplicity. The possibility to use it from anywhere and everywhere. The self-explanatory design. The excellent support, even in the middle of the night. The influence I have myself in the development since the creators are open to new ideas.

Cons

None so far. Really, I am sure if you look you find something. I have not yet.

Being able to automatically create invoices and link them up with our accounting software. Customers are able to login to their accounts and place orders online instead of emailing or texting them over and replying on us to input them. Reduces error.

The system works pretty well for a bakery with wholesale customers. It is really cost effective and easy to get started with. Some of the features are difficult to use- especially with late orders or order changes the day of. The invoicing is easy and clear as long as you don't need to make changes after the invoices are published. Overall I would recommend this software. Customers can login and enter their own orders and you can get started using this as soon as you get a login. So up front costs to use this are really low. They also have good customer service and response time.

Pros

The easy start up, allowing customer logins to enter orders, overall pretty easy to use once you understand it.

Cons

Making changes to invoices after they are "published" is not possible. Adding late orders is really cumbersome and not intuitive.

Mountain stream combines tools to keep track and facilitate a lot of the key tasks of running a bakery. From taking orders to fulfilling them production side and then delivering said orders, Mountain Stream is there to support and keep track of what you have to do. Any time I ask myself, wouldn't it be great if I could do this? Mountain Stream has that functionality already integrated and ready to use.

Functionality, intuitive design, minimalist interface, fast, covers the majority of the baking process (from receiving an order to delivering)

The product is fantastic, and the people at Mountain Stream are even better! We like that we are able to get a response from someone at Mountain Stream easily at any times of the day. The product is very user friendly and at the same time very powerful and has made a lot of tasks for us easier or eliminated them all together.

Cons

The most challenging part about Streamline for our company was the setup. Our company has a lot of data that took time to import into the system and double check to make sure it was correct. Streamline was wonderful to work with and made it easy to get data imported; the process can be time consuming but it was worth it to have it all setup.

Overall changing from our previous production software to Mountainstream has saved us a lot of time, money and worries. The software runs in a stable fashion, accurate recipe calculations reduce waste, customer self management reduces admin times and the compatibility with our accounting software xero makes invoicing, statements, direct debits and more seamless.

Pros

When we first implemented Mountainstream in 2018 we immediately cut down our order processing times from 2-3 hours daily to a few minutes. Over the years, being on a system that allows customers to place their own orders, has greatly reduced the order entry time, the data entry mistakes and thus the need for corrections and credits and has led to much higher customer satisfaction. Onboarding of new customers is easy. Run sheet management is easy. Once ingredients have all been entered, creating and costing new recipes is easy. The customer service and support is fantastic. MOuntainstream software engineers quickly respond to feedback and error reports and fix bugs, which inevitably arise in an evolving software. Over the four years, we have now been using the software, it continues to evolve and develop new features.

Cons

I wish the sales reports were a little more easy to use. It would be great, if reports that show the best and worst performing products or customers could be set up, so they are emailed automatically weekly or monthly. Also the nutritional calculations have been in the making for quite some time, but are still not available to use.

Our bakery has grown significantly in the past 2 years. In those 2 years we have learned a lot of lessons and one of those lessons is, you have to have the right ordering platform to streamline processes within your company. Mountain Stream does it all! We can utilize the software from beginning to end: from the initial order all the way through the process of delivery. Further, our customers get the comfort of knowing they are in control of ordering, inventory control and billing. They are now able to verify their orders and statements, at any time. Happy customers in control of their process makes our daily business operation significantly easier! Let's all face it, it doesn't always have to be as complicated as we sometimes make it. The Mountain Stream platform simplifies our work lives. Additionally, the platform is compatible with most accounting programs. It is an easy process to export data from Mountain Stream into your accounting program. (We use QuickBook) I would be remiss if I skipped over the customer service we have received thus far, it has been excellent. We have received patient, responsive and personalized customer service from the moment we contacted Mountain Stream. It made us feel comfortable and confident with making the switch in a software platform.

Cons

The con is Mountain Stream is located overseas from us, we are an American bakery. This detail was one of our initial concerns which have been alleviated because of the stellar customer service Mountain Stream offers. So, while this was a con for us at first, it no longer is. I'm listing this as a con because I'm positive there will be some American companies who will also have the location as a concern, it needn't be!
