### "Hexnode UEM: simplicity, efficiency, and security in one platform"

November 5, 2025

5.0

I found Hexnode UEM to be a complete and reliable solution — easy to use, intuitive, and backed by fast and efficient support that quickly resolves any issues.

Pros

Hexnode UEM: simplicity, efficiency, and security in one platform — a truly intuitive, powerful, and reliable solution that makes device management effortless and secure.

Cons

The platform works great overall, but the language support for Brazil could be improved. A fully localized Portuguese (Brazil) interface and documentation would make the experience much better.

### "The Greatest UEM/MDM"

December 10, 2025

5.0

Hexnode is great. They are a powerful MDM that makes deployment simple. Their policies are very customizable for any type of OS. This has allowed our team to maximize the potential of Hexnode.

Pros

Hexnode has the greatest support experience I have ever seen in a product. They are always responsive, and they will always help if I need any assistance for a project that requires the use of Hexnode. I have spent over 2 hours on a call with them before and not once did I sense any frustration from them. I used to reach out a lot to them when I was new, and they told me they were happy I kept using their support service. They always send detailed emails after a call for a recap, or next steps if a follow up is needed. Hexnode has done a fantastic job in building their support.

Cons

To be be honest, I cannot think of anything with Hexnode that upset me. The only issue I had was there was a period where my portal became very slow. I had to reach out to support and they would immediately refresh my account to get it started backup again. They would not leave until my slowness was resolved.

I got here after Hexnode was purchased by DataVisor. But I have heard they are much more content with Hexnode than Jamf.

### "Critical Offboarding Flaws and Support Gaps in Hexnode MDM"

July 9, 2025

1.0

Our overall experience with Hexnode has been disappointing. While the platform offers a user-friendly interface and flexible policy configurations, these benefits were ultimately outweighed by serious technical limitations and poor support. The most critical issue was our inability to unenroll devices — even with help from Hexnode support, the problem remained unresolved. This left us with several devices permanently locked to the MDM, with no way to repurpose or wipe them clean. The lack of a reliable offboarding process has resulted in significant operational and financial setbacks. In hindsight, we would not have chosen Hexnode. We strongly recommend that anyone considering this solution carefully evaluate its limitations, especially around device unenrollment and long-term support.

Pros

exnode looked promising at the outset — the interface is clean, and setup was relatively quick. We also appreciated the flexibility in configuring device policies and the cross-platform support.

Cons

We chose Hexnode for mobile device management expecting a reliable and flexible solution — unfortunately, the experience has been quite the opposite. The biggest issue: we were unable to unenroll several devices, and even after escalating to their IT support, no one could provide a working solution. We're now left with devices that are permanently stuck with the MDM installed, with no way to remove it — even a factory reset didn't help in some cases. The support team was slow to respond and ultimately couldn't resolve the issue, leaving us with unusable hardware and no clear path forward. This has caused significant disruption and cost to our operations. If you're considering Hexnode, be extremely cautious — particularly if you ever plan to offboard devices or change MDM providers. Based on our experience, we would not recommend it.

### "Hexnode is amazing for Windows"

December 28, 2025

4.0

Overall I think it's the best MDM for Windows devices out there, with all of the flaws taken in consideration

Pros

I love the way you can force execute drive encryption. We were looking for a system that is NOT Intune to control drive encryptions

Cons

The system can get very slow, especially when you look for report and the support is annoying sometimes.

### "Hexnode is very Useful"

June 26, 2025

5.0

My experience with Hexnode UEM is fantastic. Their latest update has been extremely beneficial with our connection issues previously experienced.

Pros

We now have no user approval need to access our equipment. It is almost immediate and we have full access without the users approval.

Cons

We previously had some connection problems , but with the latest update it is working great and we are not currently having any issues.

### "The Unified Platform That Delivers - Mostly"

October 17, 2025

5.0

Once you have found your feet inside the platform, it makes sense and the support is quick to respond with any queries we have had.

Pros

This all-in-one platform handles iPhones, Android tablets, Windows laptops, and Apple TVs from a single dashboard, reducing headaches. The Kiosk Mode locks devices to a single purpose, ideal for retail and restaurants. Their quick and helpful customer support is the secret weapon.

Cons

The quality of their macOS deployments are good, but coming from JamF, it can be better. I would much rather have a single pane of glass for the entire org rather than multiple tools for multiple platforms.

### "Hexnode is great"

October 28, 2025

5.0

We are slowing deploying to a fleet of 150+ devices. Process has been smooth. Able to work with multiple permission types or groups of devices.

Pros

Customer support is 10/10. Responsiveness is amazing. Best bang for your buck here to manage multiple devices and set any policy you want to manage the devices.

Cons

Little bit of a learning curve if you haven't done MDM before. There are some interesting steps you have to take, but once you figure that out... it's a breeze.

### "Most complete multi OS MDM Solution! "

April 28, 2025

5.0

Overall I have used Hexnode to manage PC, Mac, iOS and Android - and its been amazing to be able to manage such a variety of systems in one console. The speed in which these policies are applied are amazing! Also its very easy to deploy initially from a user prospective with minimal interaction. Keep up the amazing work!

Pros

Hexnode allows us to manage a global team working on various Operating Systems. This provides us one central system to manage compliance and secure our company data. Their support is always prompt and provide solutions in a timely manner. hexnode is easy to integrate with any IDP and provides the most multi-OS management than any MDM I worked with in the past.

Cons

Documenation can sometimes be outdated with some of the frequent MAC updates. Additionally when a policy or action is pending and attempts to re-try there isnt a way to stop it.

### "You should use Hexnode."

April 28, 2025

5.0

My overall experience with the product itself to the rep, and support has been excellent. Dedicated staff really stands out.

Pros

The best part about Hexnode is how easy it is to navigate the portal to set things up. Unlike many other UEMs I have used, it is laid out very well.

Cons

A few features that I would like are behind tiered plans that, for our use case, don't make sense to move to just for those features.

### "Best for medium sized companies"

December 31, 2021

5.0

Since we expanded our companies to a few more branches, we wanted a Unified Endpoint Management system which can manage devices remotely without compromising on security. Hexnode was able to meet our requirements satisfactorily.

Pros

The UEM service provided by Hexnode exceeded our expectations through its easy to navigate interface and fantastic technical support it offers. Nonetheless, the best part is the unparalleled value it provides for this price.

Cons

Hexnode is more or less an above basic UEM product, which is best for medium sized companies, but not for very large corporations. The updates can be late and you may not find some necessary features in lower packages.

### "Simple to get running, comprehensive feature set"

April 25, 2025

Overally we were lacking an MDM for our Mac products. Hexnode is actually capable of doing pretty much all device types, but we're using it for Mac to comply with client InfoSec requirements. My only critique is the limited ability to control installable applications of users' devices.

Pros

Ease of installation per device. Our employees simply need to click a single link and the policy gets installed and runs.

Cons

Getting set up in the Apple Buiness manager as a prerequisite.

### "100% reliable UEM solution"

April 24, 2022

5.0

We have deployed Kyocera AE devices to our industry workers to smoothen the day to day operations. The multi-app mode for Android helped us prevent the misuse of these devices, without blocking the call function. Dynamic import of users from Azure AD is saving us a lot of time as we don’t have to update the Hexnode user directory every time a new user joins or when one leaves.

Pros

Rugged device support. Only a handful of the UEMs support rugged devices, Hexnode is one of them. They have numerous generic restrictions and policies specific to rugged device management. The OEMConfig and AE support is also helping the UEM to offer more features.

Cons

I am happy with their product and services. The portal is self-explanatory and their customer assistance is beyond comparison. In addition to chat support, they have an internal forum, extensive product documentation, blogs and articles. They also actively participate in external community discussions (Quora and Reddit), they even have a product certification course - Hexnode Academy.

### "Awesome MDM tool"

June 10, 2022

5.0

Complete Windows device management. We use several of their restrictions and security policies in addition to the custom app management features for centralized administration of Windows apps and devices.

Pros

The platform is easy to work with and is beginner friendly in comparison to other MDMs like Intune and Workspace One. The pages are intuitive and the navigation is smooth.

Cons

I have no complaints regarding the product or the technical support quality. But it would be nice if they can roll out new releases faster.

### "An easy to use UEM software "

January 5, 2022

5.0

If you want a cheaper solution for your endpoint management issues, Hexnode is the one to go. However, cross-check your requirements before coming to a decision.

Pros

Hexnode helped us solve our mobility issues easily and effectively by enabling us to watch and control our devices from a single admin platform. It is a must-have in every growing company that doesn’t want to compromise its security.

Cons

Though Hexnode wins in most of its race with its competitors due to the value it provides, it still is a ‘just good’ UEM. It can be improved in terms of updations and latency.

Reason for choosing Hexnode UEM

We wanted to have a cheaper alternative to the Cisco systems manager, without compromising on security. Hexnode was indeed the best solution we could opt for, except for its slight update issues.
