Really great experience and i would recommend the program to others in a heart beat! I like that it is also a local family owned business.

Pros

Great customer service, easy to contact and they are very helpful with answering any questions. they often get back to me within 24 hours, if not sooner. Have developed the program to compliment how i run my business, go so far as to make another page for me. They take on feedback and genuinely care about helping their customer get the most out of the program.

Cons

Sometimes it isn't very user friendly - but i am able to get in contact with them to help. I'm looking forward to their upcoming upgrades - especially the health check section - this will be a game changer!

### "Really Please We Have Gone With Pet Manager"

After many months searching for a CRM/Booking solution for our Day Care and Boarding facilities at multiple locations I finally found . \[sensitive content hidden\] spent many hours with me on calls going through the features and possible solution to accommodate how the business runs as we have a slightly complicated set up that no other software was able to handle. I had looked at many. My biggest concern was the time difference with Pet Manager being Australian based and us in the UK but this has never been an issue. After deciding that Pet Manager could possible work for us I took up the offer of the free trial to put the system through some testing and was really impressed with the flexibility and ease of operation. In March we finally turned off our old antique data base and went fully live with Pet Manager and also the customer portal. We have had fun and games teaching staff and customers how to use the new system and at first it seemed quite daunting for them as it is very different and modern to what we have been using. However feedback from both staff and customers is really positive, especially from our customers who are now finding the system really quick and easy to make bookings and payments. Any issues that I have encountered have always been dealt with really quickly and we have only ever had minor problems mainly around finding the correct settings for our requirements. I have not yet had any software problems. Just Recently Pet Manager communicated that they were going to be doing a system update and this went seamlessly for us. So far we are really impressed and very happy to have trusted Pet Manager and the system has certainly helped improve the running and efficacy of our business.

Pros

How user friendly the set up has been and then for front end users. Quick payment solution Quotes and Invoicing management Credit management Communication options to customers Boarding facility management Day Care number control Block booking options Integration of customer portal to our website Communication with developers

Cons

Not so user friendly on mobile phones for both admin users and customer portal.

Reason for choosing Pet Manager

The other products did not offer the flexibility of multiple locations that inter linked with each other. had the most advanced invoicing and payment solutions.

Pros

I used this package in my previous employment. Now I have started my own business, I wanted to use again for ease of use and also customer consistency. Highly recommend. Very easy to use and great tools and support when required.

Cons

It has pretty much everything I need, only a couple of tweeks but that is just for my visual preference.

I love it! I am still fine tuning the program to our needs, There are so many customization features! The program is easy to understand and maneuver through when first getting started. This program allows us to easily book appointments and keep track of vaccine records.

Pros

is fantastic for my business. The customization features allow me to set up a program tailored to our needs.

Cons

I would like to see more report options. I currently export to Excel and re-sort as needed. I do appreciate being able to have the export option though.

The team walked me through the program when I first purchased and answered any and all silly questions I had. Even gave me very helpful tips in running by business as I was all very new to owning a Cattery. I have very quickly learnt how to use the program. I also love that I can customise days when I want time off and block bookings on my calendar.

Pros

I don’t have to spend more time on the phone, gathering information and making bookings. I just direct the client to my website and to book directly through , most of the time I don’t even have direct contact and the bookings just appear via email. I’m very busy as it is and this takes so much pressure off, without having to remember so much. I just go into my phone or laptop and see what’s on the the next day/week etc.

Cons

I can’t fault , If I ever have a problem or can’t figure something out, I just send a message to the help team and within a day I have my answer.

Excellent customer service & overall, it's a great product. It is relatively easy for new staff to familiarize themselves with the system.

Pros

Once familiar with the product it has lots of great features & online accessibility for clients is a time saver at reception! Once clients have created their own profile, it is very straightforward for them to create bookings or manage their information.

Cons

While understandable, the monthly costs have increased. I would like a couple of the features to be a little easier to implement, namely the deposit function, as well as the option to link to Quicken as well as Xero!

We have addressed that by having a staff member working full time on expanding out our documentation over the past few months. You may be surprised as to the amount of information in there now. We have been using for 3 years now and although we are not the most teach savvy bunch Ian and his team have been amazing for helping us understand all of the features and it has made our lives so much easier!

Pros

Whenever we have a question, the staff are always quick and helpful with their responses. The Website offers everything we require in order to run or business smoothly

Cons

some of the more complicated behind the scenes stuff can take a little bit longer to understand. This can also be true for some of our first time customers making their first booking.

Fantastic. This company goes above and beyond to keep it's customers happy. Amazing customer service with speedy results. There are a few little kinks with the grooming side of things but i'm certain that is the way i have things set up not actual program error.

Pros

The customer service is next level. It's great having it locally in Australia and Ian and his team are super fast in fixing any issues (usually caused by user) and answering my many questions.

Cons

The online shop was suppose to be up and running but is not yet... I would have liked to utilise this feature. Hopefully it will get a look into soon. Would also like to be able to book a "pet taxi" for a pet not staying in our care

Reason for choosing Pet Manager

Cost and local service to Australia. Just about all others were foreign and not cost effective for a small business.

The overall functionality of the application is excellent, and the customer support is outstanding. The platform is easy to use, and the support team is responsive and helpful, always ready to assist with any issues or questions.

Cons

Navigating the app took a little warming up initially. While the layout is functional, it could be more visually appealing. Enhancing the design would improve the overall user experience and make the application more engaging.

When I first joined I did find it difficult to follow the online instructions and Ian did have to phone me to sort a particular issue. I am not computer programme literate!

Pros

Fast answers to questions from \[sensitive content hidden\]! He has the patience of a saint! The videos Ian sends to show step by step how to fix problems is great.

Cons

Not seeing the point in having the latest notifications addition on the top right hand side. Seems to be a double up of notifications already available.

has enabled us to be able to provide quick and concise figures to the charity's board members, and being cloud based means that they can log in themselves and check without having to be in the office. We've been able to provide an even better level of care for our cats due to the ability to enter more information into their profiles.

Pros

Australian owned with super fast support, very user friendly, great functionality, and just a great well-rounded product! The icons bar along the top is a favourite as it's chock full of information that I need at a glance. I love that there is a feature request forum so that you can see what improvements are down the line and it's perfect proof that \[SENSITIVE CONTENT HIDDEN\] listens to his customer's wants and needs. I could keep going on!

Cons

The only two cons are things that I believe are both in the pipeline of being added at some point in the future. MYOB integration (not in the position to switch to Xero unfortunately) and being able to create our own custom Suite Sheet. And even if both of these things never happen, we'll still love and use because the pros outweigh the cons by far!

I am very, very happy with this software, and the owners/employees. I'm so glad I found them when I was looking for a better alternative.

Pros

I transitioned over from a onsite based booking program to this web based program, and did not know what I was missing. I absolutely love the ability to answer clients, check schedules and book them wherever I am. Tonight I worked from the sauna at the gym. In addition to being so versatile it also much cheaper than the outdated software I was using. It has been easy to customize, and when I set up my initial account they helped me port all of my client info over. The owner's have been extremely responsive to me whenever I have had a question. I am addressed very quickly, and thoroughly. They have walked me through quite a few things that I needed to learn, and taught me ways to make things easier on myself. I chose the monthly billing and have had zero issues whatsoever with it. The security has been great. I have had no doubts at all that my account is safe.

Cons

The only thing I can think of that would be a fun addition is color schemes and templates, but it doesn't affect the program in any way.

After purchasing the program and spending a large sum on it they updated the program and went online. They no longer supported/allowed me to operate the program I had already purchased and required costly upgrades. I felt like I was being held ransom, and either I had to start from scratch elsewhere, or pay their high fees. Since I felt their customer service was (always) poor, and the ethics of not supporting a purchased program was poor I decided to start from scratch. Once I made the switch to I realized how outdated Kennel Connection was. I have been extremely happy with the switch.

Hard to find something that I like least. I don't feel there is a "least like" as the staff are always helpfull if I encounter a difficulty

The experience with has been good. Customer service is always prompt and helpful, I’m not left waiting for long. Reasonably priced and they are always looking to improve

Pros

I find the report menus very helpful to track progress such as occupancy over the years as well as financials. The automations are also good and save a lot of time.

Cons

I find the Settings can be quite technically challenging, and I often have to ask the customer support to help make changes for me.

I am very happy and have used the system for several years. It saves a lot of time and managers all my client bookings. I am locked in I have had great communication; all my requirements have been met.

Pros

The direct contact with the software developer is a fantastic service. If I have any issues or difficulty, I just need to use the help button, and I will be answered via an email or by phone when I request. My feedback during an update was responded to.

Cons

The additional cost to use Xero. PM is not linked to other financial accounting software other than XERO. Which is American owned and expensive for small business. I initially selected because it was Australian owned. Pet Manager reviews can't be loaded onto my website yet.
