Pros Management and tracking was my favorite aspects. I struggled to engage in a lot of the marketing tools because it seemed too big of a lesrning curve to prioritize over the other projects I was using donorbox to support. Cons I wanted a way to engage or understand my donors a little better. Im not exactly sure what that is, but maybe a survery when they change their donation or sign up or some kind of feedback tool. Our group does not believe in the high pressure sales tactics and the large percentage fees of the platforms used by other groups in our school. When we found Donorbox, it seemed to good to be true but after running our first very successful campaign, we discovered it was exactly what we were looking for. We will be suggesting this to everyone who asks and will be using it for years to come to help support our growing program. Pros This was the perfect fundraising tool for our marching band. We were looking for a low cost, low pressure, high quality platform that also allowed peer to peer fundraising to get the kids involved. Donorbox checked all those boxes. The tool was very user friendly and the resources available to help the users were extensive. It has allowed us to bring in so much more income over the past three years because of its flexibility. Pros I love that Donorbox allows people to donate flexibly: with any amount, any payment method, and even on a monthly or yearly basis if desired. I also love that it can be a flexible and attractive widget that can be placed anywhere on my website! Cons There's not much to dislike about Donorbox, but my least favorite thing is probably that I have to pay for it. :) Also, I wish it were easier for donors (and for me) to cancel donor payment plans. I haven't had any issues with support so far helping if there was anything that needed to be resolved. It is very user friendly and I will recommended. Pros It is a very secure software. It is not expensive and they have a lovely and friendly customer service. The system is very easy to use, accurate and easy to complete website forms. We have a really good emailing system that warns when a payment is made and a great donation tracking report. We do not use it for event management, volunteers and staff so we cannot give a feedback for these sections. Cons I did not have any bad experience with Donor box, it promptly send us an email to let us know if a payment failed so we can contact the customer. It seemed to have the best reviews so I was attracted to the platform for its ethical practices and loved that it had an incredibly low interest rate and because you have some control over editing and the look of your fundraiser's page! They have delivered funds for us for many years. I never did the research into other options but I understand this one works Pros Syncing with bank and Salesforce is critical and donorbox has been flawless. They take donor credit card gifts and put them into the bank and our CRM Cons Complicated to have Stripe and Donorbox required just to get a credit card deposit.
