August 4, 2025 4.0 I have been using DropTrack to receive music submissions for quite a while now (years). I find it a great and easy way to communicate back and forth between label and artists, with easy widgets for embedding onto our website so we can receive submissions from there. Some of these have even gone on to be full releases on our label, and a musical partnership that brings value to all concerned - artists, label, and fans, Pros DropTrack is a great place for labels, music directors, radio stations, podcasts, or anything wanting to receive and manage music submissions. And for pro-submissions, you get paid so that DropTrack can be another revenue stream for music entrepreneurs. Cons I still get music from artists in genres I am not interested in, submit to my label. This is interesting because I have made it clear what genres we are looking for!? Review Source SC Sarah C. October 5, 2025 5.0 I'd say that it was okay when it came to experience of DropTrack, but there was very limited record labels for pop music artists like me, so there wasn't any options for submitting to record labels, or DJs that would love pop song music consideration. Overall, it was somewhere in the middle, but not saying that it's terrible. I hope one day, there will be a wider option for submissions. Perhaps, in the future there could be seo-based audience targeting for submitting to record labels, DJs, and press releases so that the audience is more interested. Pros The are lots of options to choose from: uploading music and tracks, and earnings as well. There is value for money because not only there is customer support, there is also great marketing content out there such as press release. Cons The least thing I liked about DropTrack was the learning curve because I didn't know how to improve just by looking at the analytics, I wish there was a support system on improving the mastering of the songs such as from content creation, and customization options for mastering. Pros The pros of this is knowing who you're singing for so that you can write the audience the accordingly to what you're wanting. Cons When you are not knowing who you're singing for on the audience it confuses the writer and makes them on a quest of bumping into walls. We've been one of the earliest supporters of DropTrack and we've managed to send dozens of campaign to our immense database of contacts. This has resulted into dj supports, radio airplays and charted tracks. We will definitely keep using DropTrack as its the most affordable promo company out there and it fulfills all our needs. Pros Droptrack is one of the best music promo platforms out there. The best thing about it is that with a Pro Unlimited subscription you can send as many campaigns as you wish to unlimited contacts. Its totally worth the money. Its fairly easy to use and its got all the features one might want for sending out promos to djs and producers. Cons Its main drawback is the fact that when you have a huge database of contacts, as we (Club Restricted Records) do, selecting all the contacts takes some time. This is not a big deal though. For example, it might take about 20 minutes to select a total of 100.000 contacts. Also, as gmail unfortunately recognizes these emails as spam sometimes (as most emails from all the other promo companies) , you might need to notify your contacts to remove these emails from spam and place them into the inbox folder.
