August 4, 2025 4.0 I have been using DropTrack to receive music submissions for quite a while now (years). I find it a great and easy way to communicate back and forth between label and artists, with easy widgets for embedding onto our website so we can receive submissions from there. Some of these have even gone on to be full releases on our label, and a musical partnership that brings value to all concerned - artists, label, and fans, Pros DropTrack is a great place for labels, music directors, radio stations, podcasts, or anything wanting to receive and manage music submissions. And for pro-submissions, you get paid so that DropTrack can be another revenue stream for music entrepreneurs. Cons I still get music from artists in genres I am not interested in, submit to my label. This is interesting because I have made it clear what genres we are looking for!? Thought the 1st track may have been an error but got same result with 2nd. Pros Nothing. The ai track analysis is nonsense. Two songs uploaded, both got comments on the lyric quality. Neither song had lyrics , both were instrumental. Cons Absolute waste of time. I sent 2 tracks for review. Both instrumental/orchestral. 1st track analysed the lyrics were good. 2nd track complimented the lyrics for being in french. Neither track had vocal or lyrics. That’s clearly not the experience we want, especially if instrumental tracks were incorrectly analyzed as having lyrics. Pros I like that they have free ways to promote your content. Most places charge and back their claims by bots. It’s nice to be able to reach out to lots of professionals and try to find your audience for free, because when you don’t have an audience you probably don’t have money for any promotion services. Drop track seems to care about supporting artists with opportunity more than lining their own pockets which is refreshing and rare. Cons I don’t like the high prices of the charges. The guarantee listen offer and requirements make it feel like you waste your time unless you pay, discouraging many from even using the service in the first place. October 5, 2025 5.0 I'd say that it was okay when it came to experience of DropTrack, but there was very limited record labels for pop music artists like me, so there wasn't any options for submitting to record labels, or DJs that would love pop song music consideration. Overall, it was somewhere in the middle, but not saying that it's terrible. I hope one day, there will be a wider option for submissions. Perhaps, in the future there could be seo-based audience targeting for submitting to record labels, DJs, and press releases so that the audience is more interested. Pros The are lots of options to choose from: uploading music and tracks, and earnings as well. There is value for money because not only there is customer support, there is also great marketing content out there such as press release. Cons The least thing I liked about DropTrack was the learning curve because I didn't know how to improve just by looking at the analytics, I wish there was a support system on improving the mastering of the songs such as from content creation, and customization options for mastering.
