This is a SaaS solution that deserves their place in the market, and we are excited to see what the future holds. Pros As the Managing Director for an award-winning agency, we are always looking for new additions to our tech stack. Site Guru was one of many options that we considered as an alternative (and future replacement) for SEMrush, and we were without doubt positively surprised. This really is one of the best options available for hands-on SEO, and it will be exciting to see future developments. Cons Leaves quite a bit to be desired compared to SEMrush, but that is not a fair comparison. Hopefully this company will continue to grow and develop, without going into the same pitfalls as SEMrush and other corporate/agency alternatives. Reporting is crystal clear and easy to transmit to my SiteCare clients. The tool is also nice to work with, free of frustration. Pros It gives search engine insights in an elegant and user-friendly way. The tool is nicely structured and the app is taken care of. Also, the reporting suits various needs, without enforcing elements to be included. The team also understands what real SEO is about. Cons It only integrates with Google Analytics for insights into traffic. The tool does not depend on it, however. But adding an integration with a privacy-first tool like Simple Analytics would certainly be a bonus. I did get a couple of follow-up emails, but not the assessment I was promise. It's affordable and gives you actionable lists for everything, making it easy to know where to start and how to optimise the site. It also analyses the content of the pages to generate titles and descriptions, all that boring stuff. It monitors backlinks so you don't need to use a different app for that. I have only a fairly basic understanding of SEO, and for a long time I wasn’t sure whether it was worth paying for a subscription. It seemed like I could manage with the native functionality of Google Analytics and Google Search Console, but at some point I got tired of constantly switching between interfaces and decided to subscribe to SiteGuru. So far, I’m happy with that decision: I can see everything in one interface, get recommendations for improving content, and what turned out to be even more important gain visibility into my site’s performance in LLM search results. At the moment, I’m satisfied with the tool. Pros I really like the simplicity and intuitive design of the service. It’s easy to use even for person whoa is not familiar with the service. Cons There are several separate modules within the platform, and access to them requires additional payments. Pros It has the clearest interface out of all the SEO page rank tools I've tried (and I've tested a lot!) For each of the keywords, it shows exactly which page on my website has the highest rank. And then for each page, it shows all of the keywords that page ranks for, and the position trend over time. The Focus Keywords section shows the searches per month, page ranked, average position and recent change, and gives tips on how to improve each page. Other really useful features include: Click through rate Competing content (to avoid keyword cannibalisation) Low hanging fruit (highlights what can be done to make the biggest improvements with the least effort) New keywords Lost keywords Content requiring attention Technical elements such as Indexation, Sitemaps, Canonical URLs etc Cons It isn't a fully comprehensive SEO solution e.g. it doesn't check backlinks. But what it does, it does exceptionally well, and I use a different SASS for checking backlinks. I've used numerous other SEO solutions they were pretty complicated to use. I got actionable data from SiteGuru right away, and was able to increase my Google search volume significantly over the next couple of months. But don't take my words for it, their free trial is very generous. Cons They currently only draw information from Google Analytics. I would love to see support for other solution like Plausible. I'm sure there's a valid tech reason why all the page crawls I bought can't be set up to automatically use what each site needs. Instead I have to allocate for each site and that can change often. Pros This software gives actionable items for the user to make sure their website is as best as it can be for SEO and crawling. Cons I think the only issue is that it is AI so there will be mistakes that the user has to overlook and know it doesn't apply to their site. For example, two H1s on a page. Rarely should this occur, but in those instances, you have to ignore it.
