### "Very helpful if you are organised and spend enough time to personalise the settings"

April 28, 2026

4.0

I must admit that I got to work with Freelo a few years ago when I returned from parental leave - out team had been working in Freelo for some time then and I felt like a boomer, completely lost. May be, that is when I built some kind of refusal and dissatisfaction with it. After several years, I was made to start again with it. Now I got to watch some introductory videos which had not been instroduced to me before, which I enjoy. I think it is really useful for those who are that much organised that they manage to make a clear structure in their tasks... (which I might not be :-)

Pros

It helps you have an overview, the check-boxes are great. I believe that for someone who needs to keep trace of time spent on each project, the function of measuring time is adorable too. There are three levels of tasks, you can write instructions when creating the task as well as write comments during carrying out of the task. But for a (all-time?) beginner, there are maybe just too many options and functions. I believe that once you take your time and set everything the way you may need, it will work great for you.

Cons

Honestly, I do not find it very intuitive. I am afraid I still do not use it the way it could be used. For me, it might take just too much time and effort to personalise all the settings so that I could make the most out of it... I tried to integrate it with Microsoft Outlook calendar but unsuccessfully which demotivated me to try the more advanced settings... Also, I often find myself struggling (and overly thinking) where to put a sub-task - hesitating between two tasks/categories on a higher level... But all of that might be just my personal problem, my incapability.

My boss / our team decided. I did not really agree with the switch, I prefer having stuff with one provider, and that may be the problem why I am not overly satisfied with Freelo... O:-)

### "Stay organized without spending too much time managing the tool itself"

March 23, 2026

5.0

Overall, Freelo is a great simple tool if you want to stay organized without spending too much time managing the tool itself. My needs are generally simple and structured so it fully satisfies my needs and the involvement in the different projects and teams.

Pros

I use Freelo for managing projects across a small team working on communications, events, and written outputs. I joined Freelo because the other team members involved in the project used it and because I needed something that would bring structure without being too complicated. I like that it is intuitive, visual and easy to switch from one project to another. It is also great that we can comment directly under tasks and tag colleagues. The communication is much easier and fluid, we don´t need emails. I am grateful for the reminders and options to have an overview of priorities. Customer support has been responsive and proactive, trying to show me all the richness and functionalities of the tool.

Cons

Sometimes you get lost in comments given to tasks and subtasks by other team members (comments in different threads).

### "Really good app for working groups "

July 29, 2026

5.0

I really like Freelo. It is a very good tool that makes working in a team so much easier. Everyone knows exactly what their job is and what to do next. We can see all our tasks clearly in one place, which helps a lot. Because of this, we finish our work faster and more efficiently than before.

Pros

It makes working in a team so much easier. Everyone knows exactly what their job is and what to do next.

Cons

I didn’t like design of the app. It’s the only weakness of the Freelo app. It’s simple but sometimes it looks unorganized.

### "Keeping Our Sports Club Organized with Freelo"

June 3, 2026

5.0

We have been using Freelo in our sports club for two months. Our main goal is to make sure that no task is forgotten. Since we manage the club on a voluntary basis alongside our regular jobs, it is important for us to organize tasks, assign responsibility, and keep track of deadlines. At the moment, we especially appreciate the templates and recurring tasks. They help us standardize routine activities and manage regular monthly operations more efficiently. So far, Freelo has been working well for us. However, two months is still a relatively short period of time to make an overall judgment.

Pros

Freelo is easy to set up and use, even for non-technical users. It helps us organize all the tasks in our sports club and assign responsibility for them. We use it to organize tasks into projects and to-do lists. For managing recurring processes, recurring tasks and templates work perfectly.

Cons

Freelo offers a wide range of ways to organize projects, to-do lists, tasks, subtasks, and checklists. However, for inexperienced users, or for those who do not want to spend too much time learning the system, this flexibility can be a bit confusing at first.

Alternatives considered

Reason for choosing Freelo

### "Freelo at school"

January 20, 2026

5.0

Freelo is suitable for school management and its important deadlines. Freelo is used at our school to manage mini-projects and also the administration office section.

Pros

In Freelo, adding other users was very pleasant. Most important, nobody has to be a rocket engineer to use it.

Cons

I want to have the option to easily print a plan for a meeting in paper form, with the task name and at least the first task description. I am a manager who does not like to look at a computer or tablet during meetings. I am probably old school.

### "Freelo - Tool for Work"

February 18, 2026

4.0

I use Freelo primarily for recording work attendance and workload. It also allows you to collaborate with other colleagues and delegate tasks.

Pros

I like that Freelo digitizes administration and basic work tasks. It is easy to work with and clear.

Cons

When I start my work timer, it doesn't automatically transfer to my calendar. So what's the point of tracking work?

### "One of the simplest tools for project management and task management."

February 9, 2026

5.0

When I was looking for a tool to manage tasks, I was searching for something clear, simple, and above all user-friendly. I know there are various tools like Asana, Trello, and so on. But with Freelo, everything feels so simple and, most importantly, very pleasant to look at. I really appreciate Freelo’s support. Any question I had was answered almost immediately. I chose Freelo mainly because it offers really great support and because it is easy to set up. At the same time, considering how much it includes and what it can do, it is probably one of the most user-friendly tools out there.

Pros

We have been using Freelo at work for the past few months, and it has significantly made the management’s work easier. We have an overview of various tasks, time tracking, and so on, all in one place.

Cons

I usually have a problem with having to use multiple apps, haha, but I like the option to send emails directly to Freelo.

I am satisfied with Freel, it is a very useful tool for teams, you can easily find information in communication.

Pros

What I liked most about Freel was its simplicity and clarity. The connection to email and various communication options in messages are useful.

Cons

### "Enjoying the simplicity"

January 26, 2026

5.0

Overall I am satisfied with the added value, which I got by using Freelo. All the tasks in one place, easy assignment and commucation with others.

Pros

I appreatiate the easy and functional design of the service. Quickly I can see what is to do and the progress of different projects. The communication of the team, which does not always meet personally, has finally one channel to take place.

Cons

I find the layout of the website app bit unclear and sometimes it takes me a while to find some of the features.

### "My first 3 months with Freelo"

October 27, 2025

5.0

Previously, we used a project task list created in SharePoint, but over time it stopped meeting our needs, and adding or programming new functionalities became demanding and confusing for some users, so it wasn’t used much. Freelo has solved this problem for us, and as a bonus, it offers simplicity, pleasant operation, and easy modification or movement of tasks and other entities. It also makes managing meetings much simpler and more transparent. We can keep everything in one place and just link from Teams to Freelo. Overall, our experience with Freelo has been very positive — it’s a clear, efficient, and user-friendly tool that has significantly improved the way we organize and communicate within our projects.

Pros

What I really like about Freelo is its clarity and the ability to structure tasks and subtasks, including checklists. It has a very intuitive interface that’s easy to use even for people who aren’t very tech-savvy. After three months of use (some users less), we are still discovering new features and learning how to set things up effectively across different projects so that it works best for everyone. We are gradually integrating into Freelo the processes we repeat every year (e.g. creating the Annual Report, reviewing and updating documentation, and others). We are also moving here topics that were previously handled in Teams, as Freelo offers a better way to follow and manage discussions.

Cons

So far, I haven’t found anything significant. At first, I thought it would be useful to assign a task to multiple people, but I now believe it’s right and logical that there should be only one responsible person. If a task involves several colleagues, it can easily be handled through subtasks.

### "Review on Freelo"

September 4, 2025

5.0

Overall, I am very satisfied with my experience with Freelo. In a home office and online work environment, it helps me deep focus on my work and divide the tasks visually.

Pros

In everyday work, I find Freelo very helpful and the user interface is friendly and intuitive. My favourite tool is the Time Measure. I also like the fact that I can see what my colleagues are working on, what tasks they finished etc. It is also helpful we can lead discussions under the tasks and tag colleagues.

Cons

In the beginning, it is important to really set up notifications properly. I got overwhelmed by all the e-mails I got in my box, most of them very unnecessary.

### "Skvělý a přehledný nástroj na řízení projektů v neziskovce"

May 30, 2025

5.0

Our experience with Freelo has been very positive. We’ve managed to implement it successfully within our nonprofit team, and most of the team members actively use it. It’s a great tool for managing projects, assigning and tracking tasks. Everything is in one place, and that really helps us stay organized and keep track of progress.

Pros

We really like how easy it is to see who is responsible for what. Freelo is clear, well-organized, and available in Czech, which is a big plus for our team. It's very intuitive—even for people who aren’t used to digital tools. We also appreciate the strong support from the Freelo team during the implementation process. Everything is well designed, user-friendly, and easy to grasp.

Cons

Honestly, there’s nothing we particularly disliked so far. We had an onboarding consultation at the beginning, which helped us avoid potential issues, and everything has worked smoothly since.

### "Helpful tool for any type of the project"

April 29, 2026

4.0

I’ve been working with Freelo for several years now. When we used it as a volunteer organization, it was financially demanding for us. I think it’s a good tool for any type of project; it’s well-organized and easy to navigate. The reminders and notifications need some tweaking, but you’ll figure that out quickly.

Pros

Freelo has a user-friendly interface. It’s easy to navigate and works well in a team environment. A newcomer will quickly get the hang of it.

Cons

I find it impractical, especially for longer-term projects, that completed tasks are completely hidden. I also miss a feature that would allow users to easily search through completed projects.

### "Honest guide on Freelo"

September 3, 2025

4.0

Overall, I quickly got used to work with Freelo on a daily basis. In our team we have data how we work through time and we become more organised and focused on our goals.

Pros

What I do like the most about Freelo is the possibility to divide into projects and measuring the time. We value that we can check time across the team. And what is most important that we haven't lost/forgot any task.

Cons

I would appreciate more colors in the projects. There is a possibility of the priority assignment, but for me colours would work better. And I'd like to have Freelo as an app not only in internet browser.

### "Happy about using freelo in our organization"

May 31, 2025

5.0

Absolutely satisfied. I have already encountered competing management tools in other jobs and so I had certain expectations. I can safely admit that I have no reservations about Freelo. Freelo fulfills beyond expectations what I expected from it as a user. It has made the work agenda clearer and simplified the work in our remote team. I use Freelo daily, I connected it to Google Drive, so I have everything I need for the project right away, all the documents and I don't have to look for anything. I also often move communication with colleagues to the given tasks, so even if I return to something with a distance, I still have all the information and comments in one place.

Pros

Since I already had experience with similar tools, I was looking forward to implementing a similar tool in our non-profit organization. We evaluated Freelo as the best possible, especially for its Czech localization, because not everyone in the team is English-speaking and technically proficient. But Feelo is also incredibly intuitive and at the same time you can choose between different display methods, set notifications, and can be connected to Google Calendar, so every member of our team, even those who were very critical and not very inclined to introduce a new tool, got used to Freelo very quickly and there was not a single hitch during the team onboarding.

Cons

I have nothing to say. except that we took so long to decide, because implementing Freelo saves us all work and time.

### "Be smart, use Freelo!"

September 5, 2025

5.0

Freelo has provided exactly what my team and I needed. A place to organise tasks and subtasks of our project, to date them and assign them to members of our team. It is effortless to use and therefore saves time as well.

Pros

I always appreciate simplicity and intuitive use, which Freelo provides in spades. Creating and delegating tasks among project members is also very straightforward.

Cons

To find a drawback with this app is quite a challenge. If I had to choose one, it would be reminder emails about changes happening in a specific team. They are useful, and email notifications are optional (you can turn them off). However, the email does not contain specific information about the change; you can only see it in the app itself.

### "my opinion on freelo"

I have been working with Freel for almost a year and I have to say that I am mostly satisfied. The tasks are clearly arranged and I like that the tasks can be grouped into different topics.

Pros

\-What I like about Freelo is that everything is very clear and I can see everything the way I need it. In terms of dates and topics, so that I know exactly which tasks take priority over others.

Cons

\-I'm not entirely happy with the fact that I have to search a lot and when I need to find a specific thing, it takes more time than I would like.

### "A job which I don't have in Freelo doesn't exist for me."

September 1, 2025

5.0

Pros

We use Freelo to assign and track tasks within our team. We have a rule that if a task isn't in Freelo, it doesn't exist. This helps reduce the need for employees to monitor emails and chats and keep track of all assigned tasks. This tool has allowed us to have everything in one place and prioritize tasks. I like that Freelo offers many options for learning how to work with the application in the best possible way.

Cons

If Freelo is used in a team to share tasks, then everyone must use it correctly and in the same way. If part of the team uses it incorrectly, it will slow down everyone's work.

### "One Tool, All Tasks – Finally Organized"

April 11, 2025

5.0

Our overall experience with Freelo has been very positive. It brought much-needed structure and clarity to our workflow, helping us stay organized and aligned as a team. The platform is intuitive, and we especially appreciate having everything in one place—from task tracking to comments, deadlines, and file sharing. It’s made collaboration easier, communication clearer, and our productivity higher. We now feel more in control of our projects and better connected as a team.

Pros

Freelo gave us a clear overview of all our projects and tasks. Instead of juggling emails, spreadsheets, and messaging apps, we finally have one platform that keeps everything organized and visible for the whole team.

Cons

The initial onboarding of our team took some time, mainly because it required a shift in habits and workflow. It wasn’t about the tool itself—Freelo is intuitive—but rather about getting everyone on board and aligned with the new system. Once that clicked, everything started to run smoothly.

### "Clear, well-organized teamwork made simple"

October 31, 2025

4.0

Overall, Freelo has become a very useful tool for organizing our team’s work. It helps us plan projects, share updates, and stay coordinated across different activities. Communication is clearer, deadlines are visible, and the structure helps keep everyone focused.

Pros

Freelo makes teamwork and project coordination very clear and easy. Tasks, deadlines, and discussions are all in one place, so nothing gets lost in emails or messages. It’s simple to assign responsibilities, track progress, and see what still needs to be done.

Cons

Some actions, like editing or moving several tasks at once, take a few extra steps. Reports and summaries could also be more detailed for a better overview of project progress. These are small things, but improving them would make everyday work even smoother.
