### "I've used them all...... And I'm back with Naverisk."

Pros

I've used them all since starting my MSP. Atera, Syncro, even Naverisk in it's early years.... I've been with N-Able for a while and for reasons I won't go into here, I decided to give Naverisk a trial. It didn't take me long to cancel N-Able and give Naverisk my money. It was a straightforward and easy decision. I'm self hosted, and the initial set up was very simple. I was up and running in around 30 minutes. The portal is easy to navigate. The support is top-notch. Scripts ACTUALLY RUN when you want them to. Windows Updates also work, and is very configurable. The service desk is very easy to manage, and the automation rules just rock! The email conversation with the sales guy was easy without any pushy tactics or hidden agendas. The online community is also very involved, and it \[sensitive content hidden\]is also there at Front Of House too. Oh, and the BI Reporting..... Never seen anything so detailed....

Cons

I can't think of anything I dislike about Naverisk right now

The platform was dated, clunky, and took forever to do what you asked of it. Support wasn't too bad, but definitely lacking.

### "The intentions are good"

This could be such a good product, many feathers are there but it is always something that does not work. In every release it is something new that does not work. If something is fixed something new stops working. The development of the product is slow. I would assume that we create 2-3 support cases a week and have done so since we started using the system 1,5 years ago. We cannot trust that the status of the client agent is correct. I really believed in this company as they listened in the beginning of all our problems but now…no.We are looking at other systems now and it is hard to find a replacement as the product in general is god and featerrich.

Pros

A complete solution, attractive price but you pay with frustration.

Cons

A lot of problems, limited API, Slow response from support

Hard to say as it was years ago, but very nice integration for 3rd party software

Cons

Some of the alerting was tough to set up, but they had great guidance available.

We have been using Naverisk daily since 2013. It was great from day one but we've watched it grow and improve in just we way we need, without adding unnecessary features that others try to do. The support guys are always really helpful and have assisted me at all different times of day.

Pros

The intuitive unfussy user interface and the performance and reliability. The help and support during initial setup and ongoing.

Cons

Installation and updates still require a certain amount of manual work, although Naverisk will kindly do this for us as part of our fees, I still prefer to follow our own procedures and maintenence window.

Reason for choosing Naverisk

It felt like a tool designed by tech support engineers for tech support engineers. The interface was intuitive and the set up and performance seemed great.

We were previously using Centrastage (originally named HoundDog and now part of Autotask). They moved their platform to AWS and there were performance issues but also we experienced an incident that made us nervous about cloud-hosted RMMs and made a decision we had to host our ourselves. One evening in the UK we searched for options and found Naverisk. We telephoned New Zealand to enquire and were immediately met by a warm experience and the offer of a demo there and then. We liked the fact that Naverisk themselves were once an MSP and the software was originally developed as an in-house tool for themselves.

### "Naverisk is a secure RMM"

Pros

Most RMMs do the same or similar things including allowing managing devices, remote control, patching, creating, and running scheduled scripts, generating reports, generating tickets based on monitoring policies, integration with a PSA, etc. We've used numerous RMMs in the past and none are perfect, including Naverisk, but we have always felt confident that Naverisk is a very secure system because we've not had any security issues. With other RMMs, we've experienced unacceptable security issues which is why we moved to Naverisk 10 years ago. We also improve security by hosting on our own platform and provide access to Naverisk via firewalls we fully control so can lock down access to the UK only. Naverisk is rather a technical platform, so it's not for everyone, but it's great for us because we are technical people. Hosting on our down platform does require us to spend time on upgrades but we would rather have full control instead of relying on a third party. Naverisk technical support is always helpful and resolves issues quickly and they have also helped us with creating scripts. As an extra bonus, we get Arma backup too!

Cons

It's technical so not for everyone but works great for us

Overall, Naverisk offers many great features and plugins that make our every day management over our hundreds of clients an absolute breeze. I would definitely recommend Naverisk to anyone that has the need to manage multiple devices, whether it's an IT services provider or just an administrator in a large organisation looking to have better management over their devices.

Pros

Reporting, monitoring, automation, RDP functionality all just works without a hitch. Deployment is super simple and fast. Once set up, deployment is pretty much turnkey. Also like the fact that we can run Python scripts to make certain tasks simpler and more autonomous.

Cons

The ticketing system could use a bit more attention. Creating tickets can sometimes be tedious and searching through previous tickets can be cumbersome.

Overall, the Naverisk system works well for our company, the service and automations make things easier for the technician and administrative staff.

Pros

As an administrative employee the pros of Navrisk is the layout and ease of use the reporting section is as it offers an easy way to monitor the work done by our technicians on a daily basis. Another pro is that the Naverisk team constantly works on development and updates to the system.

Cons

A con of the system would be that there are some sections that are a little complicated to work and find. As someone who works directly with admin, the client profiles would benefit with a full overview on services per company listed in a easy to view manner as this would assist the technicians on knowing what services the client has assigned to them, this may be a user error on my part but try as I might I cannot set this up (the system works well for clients that have remote support assigned but we cannot set up full client services on the system) Searching for tickets could have also been made simpler.

We have been using Naverisk for over 6 years in a small-medium business and love the ease of use. The client is lightweight and lets us manage device lifecycle, software updates, and monitor device performance. Automated alerts about device performance and storage helps us get on top of issues early. Would recommend to anyone in a Windows environment.

Pros

Lightweight, easier to understand, great asset management and performance management, easy software update automation.

Cons

Ticketing system isn't the best but can still get the job done if you have no alternative.

Pros

The product is great and it meets all of our needs. But the Customer Service is exceptional.

Cons

Managing SLA warnings and failures is always a challenge for us We have a hard time determining the SLA triggers.

Pros

It has the required features to manage & monitor devices.

Cons

Some updates to the platform do not seem to be thoroughly tested or trialed with end users before deployment and generate time wastage. Example: saved custom views for Devices and Service Desk have stopped working after Naverisk has been updated, requiring recreation of the custom views from scratch. I have to take screenshots as a precaution.

Pros

Creating projects and adding multiple users to a ticket. The various reporting function that are available. Being able to create script packs. Console option when viewing a device. All the device information that pulls through.

Cons

Self healing alerts for services and issues where applicable is a big help and the alerting and console highlights anything that needs manual attention

Product once up and running self heals and easy to monitor any issues. Flexible config. being able to add your own monitoring is a big help

Initial interface maybe doesnt look as slick as other more expensive options out there but the product does every we need it to

I've been using Naverisk since 2010, from the very first versions. It's was an amazing improve along those years and I am very confident to say that Naverisk hear what their customers have to say and align their development with the customers needs.

Pros

Extremely easy; Flexible and customizable; It fits to MSP and IT Departmanet Full set of features that makes Naverisk an all-in-one plataform. BI interface, that is a great advantage from other tools that I tested.

Cons

\- Support is not in Portuguese :( (my native language) - you must know what you're doing in the platform. it doesn't have any crystal ball inside (at least the current version)

All in all a very solid system, makes configuration and monitoring very easy to use for multiple clients, just the ticketing features/layout may need some work in my eyes

Pros

The integration of the remote software and monitoring, as it's very easy to use and there is many features which go into detail as well as the scheduling/device tasks which don't require you to even remote on to the pc, all make for a very solid experience

Cons

The ui/layout can be difficult to get used to, certain features don't appear to work all the time for instance the search feature

Pros

The Naverisk RMM solution has transformed how we do business. It has enabled us to support significantly more endpoints and provide our customers with best in class service. Utilizing the Naverisk RMM to proactively monitor our clients system and create custom profiles for vertical and LOB applications we are now able to keep our clients up-time maximized and time to resolution for issues to a minimum. The Naverisk team has been very responsive to support requests and available for their "unlimited training" when we have a question. After using a number of other MSP RMM solutions we have found that Naverisk has been the best fit for us and our clients.

Cons

The road map for future releases has been somewhat unclear in the past however now that it has been bought back by the original developers we have seen better communications.
