### "A great start in 2023, then support and security fell apart"

October 22, 2026

1.0

We’ve run our social club on PushPress since 2023. Here’s how it held up. Client support: This is what broke our trust. Support went AI-first, then chat agents with human names turned out to be AI, with no disclosure. Tickets were accepted, then ignored or closed without a fix. Security: There’s no way to permanently delete a member’s data, and support confirmed it. Addresses, phone numbers, emergency contacts, and card-on-file details stay stored and reachable through links, including for members under 18. Payments: Members were double-charged because their Stripe integration lacks duplicate-charge safeguards, still unresolved. Removed members kept getting charged on recurring billing, and with no change log, support couldn’t see why. User interface: The calendar starts at 12 a.m. even when the first class is at 6 p.m., simple tasks take multiple clicks, and the app pushes members to the website and into sign-in loops. The recent redesign changed the look, not the problems. Learning curve: Basic tasks are easy, but billing breaks the moment you step outside flows they never document. Value for money: Free to start is what drew us in, but basics like class and event reminders are locked behind Grow, a $329/month add-on. In the end, we built our own system. It fits our club better, and since I handle support myself now, I can show up for our members instead of fighting to get someone else to care.

Pros

It was free to start, which made it easy to move off Squarespace, Excel, and manual tracking. Early on, it was simple, and the team seemed genuinely focused on building a user-centric product. Appointment booking works about as well as other platforms.

Cons

Client support has been replaced by AI that rarely helps, including chat agents with human names that turned out to be AI, with no disclosure. Tickets get closed without a fix. There’s no way to permanently delete member data, including minors’ information, and double charges from their Stripe integration are still unresolved.

### "Reliable Gym Management with Excellent WOD Tracking"

July 1, 2026

5.0

My overall experience with PushPress has been very positive. It is easy to use, reliable, and does a great job of managing gym memberships, class reservations, and workout history. Having quick access to the daily WOD and past performance makes it a valuable tool for staying engaged and tracking progress.

Pros

I like how PushPress keeps all my workout history organized and makes it easy to view the daily WOD. It helps me track my progress over time and stay consistent with my training.

Cons

The reporting and analytics could be more detailed, and the mobile app can occasionally feel slow. I would also like to see more customization options for workout history and performance tracking.

### "Solid for our crew"

November 28, 2025

5.0

Overall, it's a 9/10 for me, just easy to use, the cost is very minimal, and its great to manage members,

Pros

Easy to use. Our gym utilizes it, and its ability to update everyone immediately of changes, and ease to sort it is great.

Cons

It takes a few moments to figure out where things are, but it's not a long issue. Just some of the features could be easier to find

### "The best Gym Software to grow "

January 15, 2025

5.0

We decided to transition middle of June and went live middle of July with our facility. Members really like it.

Pros

It is simple to use and easy to train others on how to use, their support is great - fast and knowledgeable. Adding in the extra apps like GROW have been critical to scaling our business up with less reliance on coaches to do admin work.

Cons

Coming from another software there were a few small issues with the same name but different function.

### "Good, but make it cleaner, more user friendly. "

April 21, 2025

3.0

I used Push Press for 6 months when I joined a CrossFit Box after remission from stage iv cancer. I had previously run in gym for 10 years and have used many CRM’s and programs like Push Press. We transitioned out of it to save money and have a more user friendly app for our membership.

Pros

I liked that it had automation built into it, but it needed to be more user friendly, app based for our members and staff.

Cons

Needed to be more user friendly and cleaner looking for users.

### "Great Gym Software"

July 1, 2022

5.0

We have been extremely pleased with all aspects of the system. We have used ABC and Club Automation and for our simple needs this rocks it on all levels: price, product features, easy set up and integration, with great support.

Pros

We don't use all the features, but what we use works great and connects seamlessly to each module.

Cons

When we started using it we were hoping to connect it to our access system, but knew that was unlikely. As a 24-7 facility unattended access is needed and they seem to focus more on access when staffed. That's on us but would love to see some form of standard integration for more door access systems.

### "So Happy We Made the Switch"

May 20, 2019

5.0

I could not be happier with this software, and I recommend it to literally everyone. The team behind it includes gym owners, developers, and designers who all work together on it. So it's super easy to use, and does all the things I need it to do. The product owners actively work on improving the software and are very receptive to and involved in the community of people using it. The customer service is exceptional. It was very easy to make the transition from our old software (MindBody). I stayed with MindBody \*way\* too long. My only regret is not making the switch sooner.

Pros

It does everything I need it to do, is super clear and easy to use, and the pricing is unbeatable for the value delivered.

Cons

There's no time clock feature and payroll is in beta. We have a small staff and use a spreadsheet to track time, so it's not a big deal. It is 100% worth it to use PushPress and keep track of time with other methods.

### "Really poor experience from PushPress"

February 7, 2023

1.0

Unfortunately, we've had a really poor experience with PushPress. The website they designed took weeks to update and then due to more errors on their side it was not accepted by Google for the two weeks before and after the new gyms opened. This had a huge impact as no one could view our website or join on line during pre sale and the few days after we opened. The customer service response was poor. We have had repeated issues with payments not being taken and embarrassment with prospective members being unable to pay. The system cannot adjust a start date and payments to the future, something that should be a simple, so is unusable for pre sales of gyms. None of this was highlighted in advance. I could go, on, but simply put the system has been unreliable and cost us money and time to date on bookings, payments and integration with google.

Pros

The App is user friendly and easy to use

Cons

The website integration failed to link my website to google, which had a massive impact on our gym launch. Payments are unreliable and have often failed, meaning unable to process payments. Waivers were not added or duplicated causing member frustration or members to not have waivers at point of joining and classes disappeared, making bookings initially unreliable.

### "I'm so satisfied"

May 12, 2019

5.0

Day to day operations and metrics keep me on my toes and focused on growth as well as my bottom line.

Pros

I loved that the Credit Card software is part of the program. i love all the reports. I still haven't utilized everything that will be of use to me. It's really easy to customize programs for my clients.

Cons

I truly haven't bumped into anything I don't love yet. Give me another 6 months, maybe I'll find one.

### "Great software for gym owners"

May 9, 2019

5.0

Pros

PushPress has made signing up for classes a breeze for our members. On the administrator end, it is very easy to see classes, payments, invoices, etc. Customer service is top notch, if we have questions they are quick with the answers. The price point is also great!

Cons

We haven't had any problems with the software at all.

### "Great product for all gym management needs"

October 9, 2025

5.0

Did a trial and felt it was easy to use, combined all my gym needs into one space making business management seamless.

Pros

All in one system. Looking for management side plus software to let athletes track data. This software can handle all gym management needs, from leads, financial and athlete tracking.

Cons

The sales team put down other products. Pushy. I really liked push press, but felt the sales part was too pushy.

### "Took us from looking mom and pop, to presenting like a well established business w/ a tech staff"

April 17, 2018

5.0

Pros

We run an athletic performance facility. A big portion of our athletes are below the age of 18. Pushpress allows the athlete/parent to sign the athlete up easily on line from landing pages. We are able to attach digital documents to the plans so waivers are signed by parent and stored digitally. Parents can pay online prior to attending class. We spend our time coaching instead of doing administrative task during our training times. Once an athlete is established and on a plan, the system does the rest..From recording check ins, to sending emails when punch cards are out. It keeps track of our payments and indicates who is late. It will flag athletes that have not paid, by not allowing them to check in. I would be remiss if I did not mention the customer service. They are very attentive to problems and open to dialogue about features that users would like added in future updates.

Cons

Emails...some time the system sends emails to clients when I wish I had a clearer way of indicating if I want an email to go or not. Sometimes our clients get bombarded with emails and the email I actually need them to read and act upon is lost in the mix. Also the inability to change pricing on the fly for a plan without creating a discount. End up comping plan and charging to invoice...just not nice and clear when looking after the fact. Requires me to make notes in system so I know why they were comped etc. They have improved using the system for youth athletes, but our problem is kids do not pay the bill. I wish the athletes could check in, but would Athlete would be flagged and we would be flagged in the system if they have not paid...but still records Check-in as owing. The portal is nice but really needs ability for athlete to check how many punches they have remaining to be valuable.

### "Review "

September 18, 2019

4.0

Pros

Customer Service is the bomb! So responsive and helpful.

Cons

I wish there was a management app. I'm out in a park and don't have a "check in" front desk. The Check-in app is restrictive because I can't see who I've already checked in. I usually end up using the browser, but then the checkins are all the way at the bottom of the page and require a lot of scrolling. They tend to refresh frequently OR not pull up the option to select a class time so often that I don't usually end up checking people in at class time. Even then, I often have a circle loading for a long time, sometimes prohibiting me to even enter attendance for a day or so. IF I had tons of classes, I could rationalize this delay, but I don't ... I only have two classes, two days a week. The rest of the days, I only have one class a week.

### "Amazing!"

April 17, 2018

5.0

Pros

Simple, elegant, & easy to use. Designed for the gym owner in mind. Quickly access everything in the software. Always working, zero downtime. Integrations with every type of platform that you need in your business. Great for CrossFit Gyms/Affiliates. Amazing customer support that's super quick response time. We use this in my gym, CrossFit COMO since 2015!

Cons

This isn't really a huge issue and majority of people wouldn't use this, but a customizable dashboard would be a nice feature!

### "PushPress "

September 20, 2019

5.0

I appreciate being able to manage the gym when I'm not there. Keeping track of memberships and payments

Pros

I like the ease of using it. Anytime I have an issue the crew is always quick to help and fix it. I appreciate the cost. I have a small affiliate and the cost is affordable.

Cons

I wish there was an app versus having to use the website. I would like to see ACH it has been promised for years with no follow-through. Cleaner landing page links During my busiest times I feel that my check-in process and the laptop is slow and it take a lot of time for it to load or it doesn't load and then I'm having people sign in on a piece of paper. This creates more work for me.

### "Awesome product, a few bugs"

May 7, 2019

4.0

Overall, the software is great and does everything we need it to do. The support staff is amazingly helpful and friendly. If I could change one thing, it would be giving businesses control over the emailing to its members.

Pros

This platform is super easy to use and understand. The apps and additional features are simple enough that we started taking advantage of them soon after we set up our membership billing side of things. Mainly, we use it for member billing, attendance and payroll tracking. But we've also begun to use the store and screens apps.

Cons

I'm not a fan of the auto-emailing and how we don't have control over what goes to who and when. Especially during migration (but even after), members get tons of unnecessary emails and it's pretty obnoxious. We've also run into other miscellaneous bugs and they often take awhile to hunt down and fix. Seems like the software is very popular and with all of the new apps being tested, issues don't get resolved for several days, maybe even weeks. Maybe just a shortage of manpower?

### "Organized, efficient and growing!"

September 10, 2018

5.0

Pushpress is too helpful of a software to skip. It's not worth your time trying to do it all yourself, when Pushpress is around!

Pros

Love that the creators of the software are constantly improving, updating features, listening to what their clients need and evolving the software to suit. If you have a question they get back to you really fast. They feel really personable and attentive.

Cons

Everything I've had suggestions on, they've listened to for future updates. They've already taken care of some of the suggestions. No complaints.

### "Push Press Review"

September 17, 2019

5.0

Pros

I like the ease of use. Having used multiple member management services, Push Press has been the easiest to navigate and learn.

Cons

I wish there were more reporting features such as upcoming bills and upgrading memberships. As of now I need to delete a membership and then issue a new one. It would be easier to just have an upgrade feature.

### "Serves ALL of my business needs!"

April 16, 2018

5.0

Pros

The ease with which PushPress transferred our data from our previous platform was phenomenal. We were concerned with downtime and loss of data which could potentially cause issues for our members. We had zero issues and our members love the ease of use. Our communication has increased across the board and the reports consistently give us the data we need to see how our business is functioning. Can't say enough about PushPress, we love it.

Cons

Only con is that we didn't switch to it sooner. Had we done so we would be a year ahead of where we are now but we are closing that gap everyday!

### "PushPress - Free version - Great at the basics"

July 21, 2021

4.0

For me, the free version solved the issue of requiring members to register for classes to limit attendance to 10 or fewer clients per session

Pros

Free version is free. It does a good job of handling session reservations and attendance tracking. Customer support is very good

Cons

The paid version is expensive and they take a fee from any billing done through the system. You have to use the paid system to integrate with Zapier

### "Veteran owned! Big plus for us! The Push Press crew runs a great system with top notch support."

April 16, 2018

5.0

Pros

The service and the fact that they never stop improving! They are always adding features to make it easier for us as a box owner. We get compliments from athletes when they first join us on how easy they make it sign in or purchase items. When it's easy to buy from the store, your members will spend more money!

Cons

There is some back-end tracking things that aren't in place yet, but they are always adding new things as owners ask. So it's a con, but not one they do not try to make better for the user.

### "Business Software for the Fitness Minded"

June 4, 2019

5.0

It's not that we are solving business problems, it's that Push Press doesn't create any for us to solve... There are always small kinks with updates but these are such a small issue and the support staff is always keen and quick to hear and fix.

Pros

Ease of use and seamless adjustments for membership options with our transient population have made a world of difference. Projections and past month metrics on income and retention are fantastic for assisting us with laying out plans for expansion and additions to the coaching staff.

Cons

Inability to customize mailing lists is a small flaw. We would like to see a current population map/overlay to know areas our members come from, or areas that are yet untapped potential. More data based metrics off check-ins. Plan vs plan, etc.
