They have grown a lot over all the years we have utilized their software. About once a year they experience growing pains with service disruptions. Other than that, their services have been top-notch. Most of our employee-users prefers using the Smartwebs software to our other software which can handle the same tasks. Pros Most of its modules are intuitive. They are easy/quick to learn whether they are intuitive or not. As it syncs with our operations and accounting software, we were even more pleased with it. Typically, after an update, we encounter a lot of issues but they are generally corrected within a few days. Pros The versatility of having an office version and mobile version working seamlessly is very beneficial. Unfortunately, we are in a current contract with AppFolio. The ease of their program is so user friendly my three-year-old could even figure it out. Pros The ease of their program is so convenient while in the field or in the office. Makes inspection time in the field less than using previous programs. (Tops 1, VMS or AppFolio) Cons Just recently the feedback or assistance with support has been rather slow. Even though we rarely need supports help unless we are entering a new community. Great customer service and product that continues to evolve and improve with time. Pros Product is easy to use and automates the process seamlessly for the most part. Mostly easy to use. Developer team actually listens to us about improvements that can be made and tries to implement when they can. Cons Integration with our VMS system wasn't easy at first and there are still bugs that need to be worked out from time to time. Some features of the software are cumbersome to use, not always user friendly, sometimes multiple ways to get to the same feature, which can make the process confusing. Cannot mass update the call to action text for a particular violation category across all associations. The system seems to have down time a day or so every few months which can prevent us from getting our work done for an entire day or more. doesn't always sync properly to our VMS system. Most of the time things are consistent, though. Pros Smartwebs is an intuitive product to learn and assimilate into the day-to-day operations of HOA management. A large portion of our job consists of Architectural Review requests and Compliance, both of which are available within this software, by address and resident. In addition, the notes feature of compliance is essential; as is the forum for committee conversations. Cons The only negative I have had is being required to have Smartwebs update our template letters. This is a bit of a hand-tier. Reason for choosing Smartwebs User friendly and met several needs. So easy to navigate and to use the website. Pros It is easy to find requests and close out requests, I like how it is easy to filter the information. Cons I have 2 separate accounts, one for my company and one for the HOA. I cannot be signed into both at the same time and get it's frustrating having to sign in-sign out.... Customer service and the higher up execs are all pleasant to work with and listen to suggestions or criticism should it arise. Pros SmartWebs is first and foremost very user friendly. Features work seamlessly, set up and integration is extremely easy, and if something goes wrong customer support responds very quickly. Cons As far as existing features, I don't believe there are any cons. We have a few mapping issues but other than that it usually works. Pros Pretty user friendly. I can find what I am looking for in the search buttons. I would like to be able to have the offline and online open at the same time in the field to do some clean upon the mapping when I am on location. A few tweaks are needed to make it more functional. Pros In general, the screen to label the compliance letter and add a picture has a good workflow. I like being able to search the letter history. Cons In the compliance software- 1) it would be great to have a place to add community exceptions for an inspection driver. 2) It would be great to be able to add notes for a compliance driver to view- like focus on tree trimming and so on. 3) it would be great to be able to have a list of properties for the compliance driver to review during the inspection. 4) it would be great to be able to run a report to see which notices a compliance driver sent. 5) On busy narrow street, with impatient drivers, it is not easy to get to the address to start labeling the letter. It would be good to be able to take a picture and put it in a holding area, and then assign to an address later. Drive down the street and park and then upload it. 6) adding new compliance letters is not user-friendly. Review Source AS Amanda S. It is incredibly user friendly for someone that is moderately tech savvy, however, we do have several users that complain that it can be difficult to navigate (I think that's directed more towards users that aren't very tech savvy). I appreciate the features that the software offers, but the biggest issue that we have is issues with syncing with our accounting software to make sure the most accurate and up to date information is being used. Pros It is incredibly user friendly and offers many different features Cons Sometimes the HTML or coding in the letters can be difficult to navigate or understand if not familiar with this type of coding. Pros This app allows property managers to easily issue violations while onsite on a property inspection but also issue violations that a Board member may issue while a PM is not onsite. I use the app and I use on my laptop. I can add photos and customize my letters with ease.
