Overall experience has been positive. They move quickly to help on technical issues and rarely leave things undone.

Pros

I like the advances they have made in pick up and delivery as well as the ease of use for the client looking at our company.

Cons

There is a lack of ability to truly service in city buildings in a clean and functional manner on the route. SMRT system is able to be modified in so many ways that you may run into conflicting opinions on the best way to crack your specific nut. This ambiguity leads to confusion on implementation and training.

10/10. From start to finish I've been impressed with its capabilities and feature that will help streamline aspects of business as well as enhance customer experience. The introduction to SMRT by \[SENSITIVE CONTENT HIDDEN\] really opened my eyes to what MY business needed and how well the SMRT system works. Quickly handing it off to \[SENSITIVE CONTENT HIDDEN\] for a longer period of great training. Over a month \[SENSITIVE CONTENT HIDDEN\] helped me get comfortable with things and show me the ropes. He settled many uncertainties and helped me shape the idea of the new operations of my business. He was always one email or call away- never skipped a beat. I am very thankful for his guidance through this process and would highly recommend SMRT to any dry cleaner I know because of the customer service I've received.

Pros

The feature and capabilities to enhance customer experience. The text program was much better than the competition. The training and introduction offered was and turned out to be excellent. The software puts the delivery company in charge. In my eyes this makes things easier and also helps allow more profit. SMRT seems to have everything you can think of to add to your dry cleaning business.

Cons

The format of writing a ticket and how layered in the settings are. I understand why SMRT doesn't have customers fill out a ticket before we pick it up - it's confusing and they don't know the difference between specific items. I think the storefront POS should have a clearer way to check in each item while the customers wait. The "closing ticket" process seems extensive to me The notifications could be a little clearer and be suggestive of how you should act on the new item.

Reason for choosing SMRT Systems

\[SENSITIVE CONTENT HIDDEN\] honestly helped me realise that you DO NOT need an "App" that the customers must download to ue your service. He showed me how SMRT can be integrated into your current website. From there i fell in love with all the features that not only helped your customers get what they wanted- but put you in charge of the operation. The customizations and preference options blow my mind. Also the training everyone else was offering was significantly less than what SMRT offered for onboarding new clients. Also from reviews i heard your customer service is second to none and i needed that assurance. With clean cloud for instance- they are based in the UK and i feel like if i was in a JAM that wouldnt help at all.

Horrible experience

Pros

Basically the company installed the software and wouldn't help with any pricing lists. Because the ulchsrges are basic upcharges that cannot be used for all items ,I am not able to use the system. I have tried over and over to get the technicians help me solve the matter all I get is the run around. Every month I am being billed for one hundred Nd fifty dollars for a system that isn't even working for me.

Cons

Lucky fir me that my original software is still operating or i would have been in alot of trouble. I do not recommend this to anyone. Don't believe that they are available to help you 24/7 once they got you hooked you are out of luck

### "SMRT POS is Just Plain Smart"

In my opinion, a POS is only as good as the support team behind the software. The support team behind SMRT POS is knowledgeable, responsive, and friendly. Nearly all of my support requests are solved the same day, typically inside of 2 hours.

Pros

Bringing new team members up to speed is very easy and much faster than with any other POS we've used in the past. The layout and functionality of the software is intuitive so it's easy for people who've never worked at a dry cleaners to learn their jobs quickly. Another feature I love is the reports or KPIs as they call them. I, and each of my team members, have access to the information we need to to provide our customers with the highest level of service. You can customize the reports available so that everyone sees the same reports, or you can customize down to the job role or even for each individual user. Probably the best, and most polished, function is the route module. It just plain works, and it's been transformitive for our business.

Cons

When we signed on a year and a half ago, the software was still a bit raw. The support team has been fantastic, and the development team has been consistently fixing flaws and rolling out new features. Nearly all of my frustrations have been resolved.

### "Wish I Found SMRT Earlier"

I've really only dealt with 3 people so far. \[SENSITIVE CONTENT HIDDEN\]. \[SENSITIVE CONTENT HIDDEN\] was quick at replying to emails and very helpful in initial account creation. \[SENSITIVE CONTENT HIDDEN\] was extremely knowledgeable about industry, competing POS systems, and SMRT's software and solutions offered. He had patience while I shopped around a tried to resolve issues with Enlite before finally pulling the plug. \[SENSITIVE CONTENT HIDDEN\] is the man with the plan. Once I got to know him a littler better he really began to shine. He is a problem solver that had a solution/answer to all my questions. Only a once or twice were there things completely out of his control or not in his power to change. He can get things right directly while speaking to him on the phone or 20 minutes hanging up after MAX. He knows the software inside and out and his ability to code is very valuable. He also introduced us to several different methods of taking orders, assembling, and racking we did not do before that are a real time saver.

Pros

Being able to call a real person if I am having a problem. Strong customer base. Taking customer feedback and creating updates that make system even easier/ more efficient. Highly reviewed software from dry cleaning peers. As a small plant with no delivery yet, SMRT's systems will work for me now and as I continue to grow. Versatile software that isn't tailored for "one type" of dry cleaner. Several different channels of communication possible with customers.

Cons

The interface is not as aesthetically pleasing as Enlite. Card processing terminal is archaic and lacks modern technology such as apple and android pay, contactless pay, and chip reading. Despite this, payments are accepted 100% of the time which is a relief after switching from Enlite. There is a notable learning curve for older employees due to the software's complexity.

Incredibly fast and organized support, mixed with an ever updating platform allows us to automate where we didn't know we'd be able to before.

Pros

SMRT brings dry cleaning and delivering a great experience to customers into the 21st century. For decades, our industry was underserved and with SMRT on the scene, we are equipped with the finest software to run a world-class organization.

Cons

I thought we needed an app to appeal to the newer generations. Actually, couldn't be further from the truth. SMRT delivers in every aspect.

It has greatly improved our company. Most of our employees are cross trained and know how to mark in, assembly and deliver. It’s so simple to use. No one has just one job anymore. Support is super helpful and easy to reach. Accounts receivable is very clear and we now have counter employees handle when one person used to previously.

Pros

We are very happy we made the switch to SMRT. It is a simple easy platform to use and training employees. Assembly has been much more efficient and contacting the customers is very easy through the software. I like that it is browser based so I can login in whenever and where ever I need to. Set up is super easy and I am able to install myself instead of calling support.

Cons

Batch emails and texts. I wish I was able to email all customers a coupon or info about a new service from SMRT. I go through mail chimp to send batch emails.

Overall I have been extremely happy and and the support staff has been great. My one recommendation would be around the onboarding. For the first two weeks during implementation we felt lost. We did not know what to expect until the system went live. We are now 1 month in and becoming very comfortable and making adjustments and fixing mistakes we made in the first couple of weeks. I feel much of that might have been avoided with a better training / onboarding process.

Pros

The automation is what is most beneficial for us. What ultimately made me choose this system was the integrated marketing.

Cons

This system does very well for dry clean customers and the wash dry fold customers from my laundromats. However, we also have several large Commercial clients that require a slightly different process.

Pros

SMRT is intuitive like Apple products. It is worlds ahead of the other available products in the market. The most stable and easy to use platform. Highly recommend this company!

Pros

What I like most about the software is it's a very friendly user interface. The integration with our existing business was very easy. Training is fast and efficient!

Cons

In the beginning I did not like the terminals that were used. Shortly after we switched they moved to a computer based platform.

The best feature that ALL other softwares lack, is the communication module between customers, CSR’s, and drivers.

Cons

Reports are a little tiny bit disappointing. While support can create any type of report you need, it would be nice to have them readily accesible to run with different criteria as needed.

Overall SMRT is a huge benefit to our business.

Pros

I love the route management. I love the ease of texting and emailing. I love all of the email/text/issue history you can access. I love the driver app. It's awesome. There are two features I'd love to see added to the route management side, but overall I am a huge fan.

Cons

I have only two complaints. There are two features missing on the route management side that would make my life tremendously easier. And it's difficult to get a simple "this date to that date" KPI sales for a group of customers. It's not accurate so I have to do it manually.

Our previous Compassmax software was not adequately addressing our needs and we are overall quite happy with how well we have been able to improve the management of our business with a system that is easier to use .

Pros

SMRT has dramatically improved the management and efficiency of our business. We have specific needs catering to hotels for uniforms, staff clothing and guest clothing and we needed to streamline and better integrate our accounting and delivery processes. SMRT has enabled us to do this and helped us improve the quality and speed of our business where we need quick turnaround times. We also found that the software works seamlessly with our Metalprogetti conveyors.

Cons

Not a lot to complain about. We would like one or two minor accounting features added but those would be specific to our particular type of business.

Reason for choosing SMRT Systems

We found our existing software to be unnecessarily complex and even then it did not address our needs well. SMRT offered the best option.

Route management, customer communication, AutoPay, and receivables management are all fantastic. They continue to enhance the product with fixes, improvements, and new features. Great support.

Cons

Limited POS options - no Apple Pay, Google Pay, etc. These have since been added.

I love the customer communication. Route tracking is top notch. Assembly conveyor is very reliable, cost effective and efficient. Customer billing is very simple to customize.

Pros

Easier to train new employees. The ability to create custom reporting. Positive customer feed back.

Cons

Hmm. Nothing comes to mind. I was actually surprised to find that SMRT has more good features that are "hidden". I guess I would have to say that I would have like to know about these features sooner. Not really a compliant.

We have been very happy, overall, and would highly recommend this product to others in our industry.

Pros

SMRT has made our business much more efficient. We can collect and store a vast amount of information about our customers and their clothing. It is a very user friendly platform even though it is highly complex. The design features make it intuitive and training (as long as someone has a basic knowledge of touchscreens/computers) is fairly straightforward.

Cons

The frequent updates can take some adjustment time, but overall we understand are aimed at making the product better. There are so many features that is is difficult to master all of them, however, the fantastic customer support largely mitigates this issue.

Pros

The developers are always working to make the system work better. It already works great , but if there is something that you would like for it to do you can request it and it will probably get done. I also like that it is so easy to use. New associates can be up to speed in just a few days.

Cons

When to internet goes down, you are down.

The training process was very smooth. We trained remotely and then went live with two of SMRT's trainers onsite. They were wonderful to work with. The data transfer was so much better compared to the process with SPOT. SMRT's import process allowed us to focus on training day 1, instead of importing tickets manually. The support has also been phenominal, they get back to me and my team very quickly and are always friendly.

Pros

My favorite thing about SMRT is how easy it is to use. Unlike other systems that are complicated to navigate and hard to understand, SMRT feels like a breath of fresh air for the Dry Cleaning industry. As soon as I saw it, I knew it would improve my business. After installing it, it was even better than I had imagined. We have been on SMRT for about a month now, and every day we love it more!

Cons

They couldn't print the lot tag number on my temp tags, but they added that feature a week after we went live. No complaints here!

Pros

This system has enabled my store to quickly and effectively serve customers by using the quick ticket. It has also sped up the assembly process dramatically. It almost eliminates human error when assembling clothes. However, my most favorite part is being able to communicate directly with the customer on the POS computers via text or email.

Cons

I wish I would have purchased another station to use just for assembly. However, now they just share the scanner with a station that is in the front of the store.

The ease of use and communication with customers are what I like most about SMRT.

Cons

There are certain elements that cannot be customized at this time. This forces you to find and integrate with a 3rd party system to accomplish some tasks.
