### "The Best Knowledge Base Platform for Technical Writers"

One of the best knowledge base platform as a tool for technical writers. The portal is intuitive to use and there is plenty of documentation on how to optimize and streamline content. Any bugs that are found in the platform is quickly addressed and updated in the next releases along with new and exciting features. I'm now always going to recommend other technical writers to use as their go-to platform for content.

Pros

The user-friendly interface and ease of content management easily makes me recommend this platform to all technical writers I know. The customer support and customer success teams are also extremely helpful and responsive to user feedback and making sure their customers are getting the most out of . Their documentation also provides a plethora of support to assist you in accomplishing tasks on their platform. Document360 is only getting better as they integrate AI to help writers make their content better and save them time in editing for quality.

Cons

Our team is still using the legacy pricing, and while it is working well for us, the new pricing plan for similar features we use is nearly doubled the price. While does extremely well in creating content and publishing it immediately, it would be nice to have better version control without having to publish the article first. They also have some bugs when it comes to formatting content as well.

Very smooth, easy to utilize, clean look! The onboarding process was very streamlined and. helped me to get familiar quickly.

Pros

The ease of everything! I write in WYSIWYG so this capability was essential. I love the way pretty much anything can be embedded right in the docs, along with creation of tables that are far from simple. The auto-generated Table of Contents lets me skip that menial step. I have reached out to customer support a couple of times in the early days, and they were always very helpful and quick to respond.

Cons

So far the only down side I have seen is that the tables do not have a freeze header function to stay while scrolling.

I think that we can collaborate better on implementing new features. I am pretty open to giving feedback and it was part of my previous company role when we integrated a brand new platform. They were much more responsive in terms of receiving and implementing feedback.

Pros

It is easy to learn, and it is more or less easy to use. We use our custom css, which is handy and corporate-friendly.

Cons

it is not very intuitive. There are commands that can be improved such as the calloput which is something I use in every of my articles. I expect that when I have a text say Note: dummy text, then I place /callout in front of the text, it will automatically fall under the callout, as it happens with headings for example, instead, my text goes to a new row and a placeholder callout is inserted. I need to then copy and paste line by line, which is also pretty hideous to insert it inside the callout. Absolute waste of time. I have around 10 callouts per article.

Easy to use and feature rich tool! Speeds up the process for managing documentation and provides a clean and pretty result. Though managing API docs is a struggle sometimes depending on the process you have determined.

Pros

Doc360 makes it easy to edit, manage and update documentation! It is very competent and have many features that compete with tools such as Confluence.

Cons

API Documentation management could face some real upgrades. I left a couple of feature suggestions related to that, especially related to swagger file processes.

The most accessible and user-friendly documentation platform I’ve worked with, especially ideal for teams without a technical writing background. While it doesn’t offer the advanced structured authoring features that tools like Oxygen provide, it strikes an excellent balance for fast, collaborative publishing.

Pros

Outstanding customer support, quick and straightforward setup, clean and intuitive interface, and robust built-in analytics make it easy to manage and measure documentation performance.

Cons

Limited XML and advanced markdown support; less flexibility for customisation compared to Oxygen. Content reuse is possible but can be a bit clunky and less structured.

We've helped deploy at a number of customers. The experience has been very positive - both from the perspective of setting up, and from the support we have received from the company.

Pros

The evolving platform means that it keeps up with market trends. Good Support, which makes it easy to implement. Listen to the users - so we get relevant updates.

Cons

There is not much not to like. There is a learning curve, but that would apply to any documentation platform.

Overall, I have had a nice experience with . All the features are great, and hopefully, all the upcoming features will be great too.

Pros

It is user-friendly. The ease of content management, right from its creation to publishing, is one of the best features.

Cons

The API document content creation can be improved. The knowledge base is quite extensive with features but the API documentation part needs to level up still.

Pros

We have been using Document 360 for a year now and it has been a good solution for our documentation platform. What stands out most is the user-friendly interface, which makes it easy to create, organise and maintain articles. The interface is intuitive and the editor provides almost everything we need to produce well-structured content. I would like to highlight the well-structured onboarding process and customer support for the platform, which makes it very easy to implement and leaves no questions unanswered.

Cons

The main drawback is the licensing model: even if you're only using the platform in one other language than English, you're required to purchase an English license. This feels a bit restrictive and could be more flexible for teams working exclusively in non-English languages.

It has been exciting, as it offers so many options that before required a human input for. So, it is more efficient, highly effective, but still allows you to put your own touch and spin on things to allow your work to reflect you.

Pros

It has all of the resources you could want or need. It has features for bilingual processing for artwork, you can use structures within for articles or use free-style. The sky is the limit.

Cons

It does take some adjusting given all of the added features, after using Word for so many years for articles. It also takes repetitive clicking, just to orient yourself to where things are and where to go for what you need. It just requires some adjustment.

As a collaborator, I think overall, it's heading in the right direction but with just some minor caveats mentioned above.

Pros

Has all the necessary features for collaboration. The rendered layout for the docs and interaction with pictures seem to be pretty smooth.

Cons

Eddie AI wasn't able to properly answer some basic documentation questions regarding our content. Reviewing, assignment and publish process was not that intuitive.

Excellent product and customer experience. This is the premier tool to help manage customer and internal documentation. The tool is rich in features and their support team is very responsive.

Pros

is a powerful and versatile knowledge base solution with its user-friendly interface, rich feature set, and strong integration capabilities. Its strengths lie in its ability to facilitate efficient documentation management and enhance team collaboration.

Cons

The only minor issue we had was that our CSRs were switched several times but this did not take away from the quality of the support we received from Document369.

### "Worth the Price for the Value It Delivers"

has been a solid solution for our documentation needs. It was easy to onboard the team with a short learning curve. The text editor is flexible, and creating and managing pages is simple and efficient. The UI is clean, and the search works really well for end users. We’ve had very few issues, and support has been responsive when needed. While it’s not the cheapest tool, the value we get especially in time saved and reduced support tickets makes it well worth the cost.

Pros

It just works really well for what we need. Setting up our knowledge base was smooth, and the editor is super easy to use even for non-technical folks on the team. What I appreciate most is that it’s clearly built for documentation, not some generic tool trying to do everything. We’ve tried cheaper options before, but they ended up costing us more time and effort. With , we’re getting real value for price, that’s what matters.

Cons

Not much to complain about. It’s a focused tool some might miss the extras you get in all-in-one platforms, but that simplicity is actually what I like most about it.

Doc360 is a solid documentation platform with a clean interface and powerful search capabilities that make it easy for teams to find and manage content. The collaboration features are intuitive, and the ability to version and categorize documents has been a big help in keeping our knowledge base organized.

Cons

That said, there are still some pain points. The formatting options can be inconsistent at times, especially when importing or editing longer documents. Certain layouts don’t always carry over as expected, which means extra cleanup work. While not a dealbreaker, it can slow down the documentation process.

We use it to add new processes and procedures. The neat part is that its easy to access and the storage is awesome.

Pros

I love how easy it is to customize and add items and to search topics. It allows you to add titles and subtitles.

Cons

It's not as override friendly as I'd like. As new process occur, it would be nice for it to give the option to archive old processes and procedures and override and only display updated processes and procedures.It shows all instead, which can be confusing.

It's been great, especially with the helpful webinars. So far, I have no issues and I'm excited to dive deeper into what Doc360 has to offer.

Pros

User Interface is easy to use, easy to navigate and intuitive! I like the templates they have and how professional it looks. Collaboration wise, it is excellent in which you can make comments and tag editors. Managing audience for content is also a helpful tool.

Cons

There's not much to say that I like the least about - for some, it may be that Doc360 is just very simple and not as intricate but that's what I like about it.

My overall experience with has been positive. The support has always been quick and top-notch. Though there may be issues occasionally, document 360 is always attentive to them and resolves them quickly. I enjoy using the editor and interface. The system is very intuitive for our readers and is one of our top priorities as an organization. Each of these things has created a positive experience.

Pros

I like the visual appeal of Document 360 and its intuitive admin platform. I was a first-time knowledge base manager and was able to hop in and learn the system easily.

Cons

The article editor can cause formatting issues from time to time. This can slow progress on articles or create design issues when it comes to an article's layout.

Responsible for performing bulk updates as part of a rebranding effort. Updated 100+ articles fonts, text, and otherwise.

Pros

Pretty seamless versioning, it works really well when changes are made pushing those into the Knowledge base seems to work well with very few issues.

Cons

Bulk editing, super repetitive, a lot of clicks to get into the edit window. Have to Open Article -> Open Advanced Editor, highlight all sections I want to change font, change font. No find and replace, have to Cntl+F the page and manually check for it.

Pros

I've been using for our internal knowledge base, which is privately accessed. It's been a great experience overall. The platform is flexible enough to meet our specific needs, and the support team has been fantastic. What I like best is how easy it is to use and their outstanding customer support. They've been incredibly proactive in helping us with configuration changes and design requests. I never had to follow up on anything we asked for - their tracking and follow-up are solid. The features are intuitive, and I especially appreciate how well it handles custom JavaScript. We use a lot of it, and Document360 accommodates it without any issues. If you're looking for a reliable, customizable knowledge base solution with great customer service, I'd definitely recommend giving Document360 a try.

Other than the price, I don't have any significant complaints. It's met our needs well.

It's been a successful first year with , we have setup a thorough knowledge base and have been able to work together as a team to quickly publish and update help articles. Nisath and his team have been responsive to our questions.

Pros

It is easy to create and publish articles. The site allows for several categories that are easy to navigate for our clients. It was easy to implement the tool. Our team has been using Doc360 for a year now and we have created an extensive help site that is useful to our users. It is easy for us to publish and update articles quickly when we release a new feature or need to update an exisiting help article.

Cons

We have had a little trouble with the commenting tool. I think some of this stems from navigating between their new editor and old editor and some of our comments disappearing, but we hope as our entire team migrates to the new editor this will be less of an issue.
