Great tool for building pipelines, viewing talent insights, talent mapping, and of course sourcing and messaging qualified candidates.

Pros

It's a great tool to find top talent outside of using LinkedIn (which is so expensive these days). HireEz is affordable and easy to use without leaving the platform!

Cons

Sometimes when sourcing I will put in mandatory requirements and it will show me profiles of candidates without those skills.

Pros

Access to contact information and the abaility to easily import into our database (Crelate) with duplicate detection.

Cons

Sourcing in HireEZ has limited boolean search options, instead it is tag based, and the tagging is done with their AI and it's not very accurate. I find the contacts are over-tagged and it requires a lot of manual sorting to ensure proper fit. However, my company recruits in a complex space (life sciences executives) and the search parameters get really complicated, aking boolean search crucial for us. If you recruit in a space that is more straightforward and requires limited search parameters, then you will probably enjoy sourcing in HireEZ.

Reason for choosing hireEZ

We still maintain LinkedIn recruiter licenses for our entire company (researchers and recruiters) for access to InMails and abiltity to view profiles, as well as superior sourcing capabailties. HireEZ is less expensive than LinkedIn recruiter though, and is very useful for an all-in one type of tool where you can essentially replace LinkedIn recruiter and potentially your CRM if you're a solo recruiter or small start-up. We use HireEZ as an add-on tool to enhance contact information and import into our database (Crelate) because of superior duplicate detection than Crelate's native import/duplicate detection feature.

I have found that some of the information is correct BUT not better than other services. I would often run the same search on Whitepages and HireTual was no better. Also, this product did not offer good company phone date. If a number was offered it was publicly available HQ numbers.

Pros

I really did like the ease of use. The Chrome Extension was a perfect companion for identifying passive talent on LinkedIn. There is good interface with my ATS.

Cons

I found the AI generation of data and the matching data with probable email pattern to be troublesome. Often the work emails were out of date by several years. One key contact had an email listed that was 8 years old. It was a company he had left 8 years ago.

My overall experience is very positive and I would recommend this to any recruiting teams, whether you are a one person shop or a 500 person recruiting org. This tool is, and will continue to be a differentiator for sure!!

Pros

This tool is super intuitive and provides myself and team with information about our candidates that no other tool can! What I love the most about it is the AI sourcing function that does most of the heavy lifting for you while you are focused on engaging and building relationships with the candidates! It has increased my teams productivity 4X with their sourcing efforts and made a true impact on our overall quality of hire across the company.

Cons

The biggest con is the not having a 2-way integration with my ATS. Nothing other than that.

As a sole practitioner, it's always a challenge to find that work/life balance. Hiretual has given me the opportunity to work fewer hours while increasing my productivity. A win/win!

Pros

This software is amazing. It cuts my sourcing time in half, freeing me up to call more clients, engage with more candidates, and make more placements. Definitely worth the cost. I've tried everything on the market and Hiretual wins, hands down.

Cons

The cost is a little steep for a sole practitioner, but the value outweighs the cost.

Hireez has been an excellent sourcing tool for our team. The ability to narrow down candidates based on our specific needs has been a huge asset. I especially appreciate the email campaign feature with automated follow-ups—it allows me to set everything up and focus on the rest of my day. It's a real time-saver

Pros

Searching feature and saving projects I am working on. Being able to narrow my search to a specific geographical area.

Cons

It takes a few times using the platform to learn what you are searching for. Once it "learns" the type of candidates you are looking for. It is great. Just keep using it!

hireEZ has made a real difference in how I manage sourcing. It’s helped me connect with the right candidates more quickly, which means I can focus less on searching and more on building relationships. It’s also made it easier to stay organized, especially when juggling multiple roles at once.

Pros

I’ve found hireEZ really helpful when I need to source quickly for multiple roles—the AI search makes it easy to filter through candidates fast. I also like how the outreach feature keeps my communication organized and lets me send personalized messages at scale.

Cons

There are times when the email contacts aren’t accurate or bounce back, so I’ve had to double-check them manually. It doesn’t happen often, but when it does, it slows me down a bit.

### "Hiretual - Disrupting Recruiting Tech"

I started using Hiretual in their first year of business -- the tool had a ton of potential, and I initially used it to create boolean strings for me. After about a month of using the free product, I connected with COO, to learn more about their AI sourcing functionality. Over the past 2-3 years, I have become a super-user of Hiretual and the platform has become my #1 source of hire, I go to Hiretual before any other resource I have available to me. During our renewall negotiation with LinkedIn this year, I opted out of getting another LinkedIn Recruiter seat in favor of Hiretual seats. There is just so much more power and capability in Hiretual than there is in LinkedIn.

Pros

Hiretual makes searching easy - they give you the option to write (or even create for you) old school boolean strings, or you have the ability to use their AI search engine. The AI Search engine allows you to pick titles, mandatory/option skills, years of experience, diversity factors, citizenship vs sponsorship, geo-targeted searches, etc... A lot of recruiting products offer this search capability, but what the others don't offer is the ability to aggregate social profiles, contact information, professional networking sites, skill based assessments, salary range information, availability likelihood, etc.. You get all the information you'd normally use chrome extension galore for, all in one place, that is Hiretual. One feature they've had for a while that I recently started using on a daily basis is the Facebook search. In today's hyper-competitive engineering recruitment landscape, the need for personalized messages is at an all time high. Having access to the candidates facebook is not only another method for outreach, but also a research tool to write compelling messages that get the candidates attention.

Cons

There aren't many, but I do wish I had the ability to compare what I've already done on LinkedIn (Projects, Messages, notes, etc..) to what I've done in Hiretual. There's a lot of manual comparison back and forth to ensure the candidate I'm reaching out to via InMail isn't someone I've already talked to or reached out to in the past.

Overall, Hiretual made it easy for me to search for great candidates, and it also made it easy for me to get their contact information such as emails and phone numbers so that I don't need to waste my limited InMails anymore to reach out to those candidates creating more great fits to my candidate pipeline.

Pros

I've been in the recruiting arena for ages, and sourcing for candidates was a walk in the park because of it. Hiretual made it easy for me to locate the candidate contact information. Hiretual can work with FB, LinkedIn, GitHub, etc., and once it recommends an email or phone number it is always precise. Since I like sorting things too, Hiretual made it possible for me to group candidates per project or per position I am recruiting which is nice because it makes it easier for me to track their candidate stage, next steps or job status.

Cons

The keyword searching or Boolean string is quite complicated because it needs more of the "ORs" than the usual one which makes an unfit candidate show up. However, with the recent update, they made Hiretual more powerful so it is very promising!

### "Must have if you are a serious recruiter!"

Over the years, I have tried many different means of noting my outreach to candidates and nothing has been anywhere as efficient in regard to how Hiretual tracks my outreach and marketing. As a Sourcer, I can easily email over 300 people in one day. It would take me hours to notate that in many systems and it takes hiretual seconds.

Pros

I love that I can keep my entire candidate pool in one place. Organization is vital to recruiting. Having one place to keep all my notes of my entire candidate pool is a life saver. Not to mention, I can run quick internal and external searches to find candidates via AI. Any candidates found on external jobs boards can be quickly imported and emailed within seconds. This tools takes hours out of my day.

Cons

There honestly isn't much not to like about this tool. It truly is a fantastic! One thing I would like to see in the future would be a way to data dump resumes for the already existing profiles. Essentially loading 20+ resumes at a time to the already existent profiles. Right now you are able upload resumes individually.

Hiretual has helped my business when it comes to sourcing candidates and finding their contact information. When searching for candidates, we use the information we find in Hiretual and add it to our email campaigns. Email continues to be the best way of reaching candidates, much more successful than InMails.

Pros

I use Hiretual mainly for contact information and it usually yields accurate email information. As of right now, it's my go-to tool for contact information.

Cons

I've used the sourcing features and don't find it to be as robust as other competitor tools.

I spent 19 years in the staffing and recruiting industry and always tried to use the best tools on the market. I was one of the early Hiretual users and had tremendous success sourcing super rare IT talent with the tool. I think it stands alone in the market and I highly recommend Hiretual.

Cons

Early bugs in 2016 that have long been vanquished.

I use Hiretual to source senior-level candidates in the Human Resources, Sales, and Pharmaceutical/Biotech R&D functions. It has helped me create personalized outreach and drive my open/acceptance rates much higher than ever before.

Pros

Love working with Hiretual. As an executive recruiter, it gives me the insights I need to understand the potential candidate pool I'm looking at, the tools I need to source those candidates (including AI functionality), the contact information to reach out to the candidates, and projects functionality to keep it all straight.

Cons

I'd love to see the 'Engage' tool provide the functionality to show if a candidate has opened the email that is sent to them.

### "If you like LinkedIn recruiter you'll love Hiretual"

As the tool becomes more widely used (not a lot of my colleagues have heard of Hiretual) they should consider coming up with a certification like LinkedIn Recruiter. I prefer Hiretual to Recruiter because the search is not limited to LinkedIn.

Pros

Hiretual makes it EASY to find hidden diamonds in the rough. You can use boolean search strings (much like LinkedIn Recuiter) to find the kind of candidate you're looking for...quickly. Hiretual even scrubs social media for the candidates you need to sources and can find current phone numbers and email addresses. Contacting candidates and organizing your recruiting efforts with Hiretual is also pretty easy. Get Hiretual and let your managers think you're an expert recruiter!

Cons

The product is relatively expensive but as these type of tools become more commonplace (and given the job market I have to believe it will) the prices will fall.

Pros

Easy to use, just a click away from the email address you want, almost all emails found are valid and verified.

Cons

Limited email address findings in countries which practice GDPR, you have to request the consent through Hiretual and Hiretual never replies if the person accepted or not - that way you do not get the service you pay for.
